Great place, very clean... great pool and hot tub. Was very accommodating to my service animal. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. I will definitely be back!

The room was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The staff was very nice and polite. The pool and hot tub were great! It's very close to stores and restaurants, which we found convenient. I was really surprised with the continental breakfast, it was an amazing spread! There were a lot of options and everything I had tasted great! The staff were very attentive to that area, nothing was left empty or messy. I really appreciated the effort and it showed how much they cared. The only thing that may be considered a down side to our stay was the noise of trucks and cars in the early morning. But I understand, it's on a major road and we were in a room facing the street. Other than that, everything else was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Dont ever prebook a room through expida because the un knowlelged staff will have you being charged twice in odd incremints and even though was there fault say its not it was an error. I called day after when i realized i was charged twice because the person at front didnt know what he was doing and now after talking to one rep said it would be looked into nothing happend. Spoke to the asst manager who played it off the same melinda and Teena if you do stay and have issues wish you luck because they do not care that theyre holding your income up for 2 -3 weeks. They appreciate your business

Firstly, the big positive for this hotel was the staff. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite tired and dated, the photos on the websites were obviously taken a long time ago! So don't expect it be as nice as that in real life. The location is great for Acadia, although Ellsworth itself is just one big strip map so if you'd prefer a cute New England town then best to look elsewhere. The big downside of this hotel and the reason I've only given it 3/5 was the lack of environmental awareness. Food wasn't great at breakfast (very limited choices and nothing tasted that great) but the biggest issue was the single use plastics and lack of recycling (everybody was just chucking it all in the standard garbage). In most countries, plastic straws/cutlery etc have been banned for this reason. The US is behind the times in a lot of environmental practices, but this hotel was particularly bad. Every fork/spoon/knife was wrapped individually in plastic, so bad for the environment. Come on Hilton, do your bit for sustainability and for goodness sake, get some proper cutlery and plates instead of plastic crap that will end up in landfill!

Our check on experience was great. Teena the check in clerk was so very friendly and funny. She was very clear on all she had to tell us about breakfast, the pool and etc. The room was comfortable and clean. Shopping is nearby. I would stay here again!

we booked a room for 3 nights in a 2 queen bed room. 4th was unavailable. i found the fourth on expedia for a king and booked it (100.00 cheaper) The clerk said we'd have to move for the 4th night when we checked in. But after removing all our baggage and loaded it in the car for the day. We were told on return that the KIng i booked was unavailable. and were checked back into our 2 queen bed suite. And no room service was done. We should have gotten the KIng room I paid for and if not then our room should have been serviced. We had requested service for every day of our stay. I feel like managment gave away the KIng room that we paid for. and also did a diservice to us by not providing our reqular room service . In summary i learned to be more specific and carefull when staying in this Hotel.

After we had originally reserved a room down the road at a motel that didn’t meet our expectations, we were able to book a room last minute at the Hampton Inn and were much happier and more comfortable. Clean room, friendly staff, variety of options for breakfast, and only about 30 minute drive to Acadia National Park
