Al llegar a la propiedad nos enteramos de que no se aceptaban pre-pagos a través de Expedía. Tomar en cuenta que no es posible pagar con tarjeta de crédito en la propiedad. Debe ser en efectivo. La habitación tenía un olor desagradable. Atenciones del personal, especialmente en el restaurante fueron excelentes Vistas de la propiedad son hermosas.

Saludos, gracias por su estadía. Como ya te explicamos, Expedia no hace prepago por el nuestro hotel. Lo sentimos por el mal holor en la habitación, pero el dia siguiente no lo encontramos. Seguramente fue por el techo de palma en esa habitación y la lluvia persistiente antes de tu llegada. Era posible pedir un cambio de habitación.

La struttura è nettamente al di sopra della classificazione ufficiale. Camera spaziosissima con una vista impagabile. Arredi curati, ristorante molto buono e personale attento. I proprietari italiani sono persone squisite e disponibilissime.

Le cadre est fantastique. L'ambiance est détendue. Le personnel au restaurant est très professionnel. Le lit est très confortable. On s'y sent bien.

The entire trip for me was amazing. I loved the hospitality of the staff as well as all the perks of being close to the Quemaito beach. The food was amazing and the breakfast is like no other. I definitely recommend people go to this hotel because it definitely serves as an amazing place to stay no matter how long.

schöne Lage am Meer, großer Pool mit Meerblick, ebenso vom Restaurant aus. Es besteht jedoch Renovierungsbedarf der Hotelzimmer. Die Kissenfüllungen der Kopfkissen gehen altersmäßig gar nicht mehr. Positiv: Eine spontane Teilstornierung wegen einer kommenden lokalen Hochzeitsfeier im Hotel wurde anstandslos mirt Rückerstattung gewährt.

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay in the property due to misinformation in expedia website. It was my understanding that the charge was paid by credit card. When I arrived at the property, I was told to pay i Dominican pesos which I didn't have. The property has not ATM nor card reader. I had to turn back, 3 hrs. I was very disappointed.

In the expedia website, if you check they write "Important information You need to know The property only accepts cash" Please the next time, when you make a reservation read better the information in the website, before to write a bad review about the hotel. But for your information the hotel accepts Dominican pesos, American dollars and Euros. Have a good day.

At my arrival, I was shocked to find out that the hotel did not accept any credit cards at all. The nearest teller machine where I could get money from was pretty far away from the hotel. I felt disappointed due to the fact that my reservation in Hotels.com did not warned me about this. I made sore of an arrangement with the person at the front desk to let me stay in and next day I'd get the money to pay them. Luckily they help me out and I was permitted to stay in.

Beautiful location, wear and tear
Hotel had beautiful grounds and nice pool, good free breakfast and decent restaurant options, however we had to call a staff member in to clean the bathroom as it had not been cleaned prior. Overall, the room was dated with wear and tear. Wifi did not reach the room we stayed in (#5). Note that payment must be cash only

Broken promise
Hotel El Quimaito accepted my 3 day booking and then a few months later cancelled it. I got an email out of the blue to say that since accepting my booking they had taken a block booking for a large group so they no longer had room for me and my family. They then refused to reply to any emails or answer the phone. Not even Expedia could get through to them I had chosen this hotel for where it was as we travelled round the DR. The inconvenience and last minute hassle the Hotel caused me was substantial. Expedia were great at helping to find me an alternative place (and arranging compensation) but I would not recommend placing a booking with this hotel from my experience with it. I would certainly recommend the Expedia service for resolving problems like this, though. I was so glad I had booked with Expedia, rather than going direct to the Hotel.

Caro.Hotel de precio de 4* para un hotel de 3*
Su precio es excesivo para los servicios y la calidad de los mismos. No se deberia de pagar mas de 50 USDollar por habitacion doble. Es un hotel de 3 estrellas a precio de 4. Habitaciones sin ventilacion, toallas de muy baja calidad, muebles y detalles basicos inexistentes en la habitacion. Problemas con el agua caliente. Resumiendo, esta por encima del precio que se deberia cobrar. NO contento. El personal, fue MUY agradable. Todo lo demas estaria bien si el precio fuera menor. Nosotros pagamos 125USD por habitacion para 3 personas.

Estimado Cliente, disculpe pero el Quemaito no se merece todas estas negatividad. Los precios son precios medio por hoteles de esa calidad en esta zona del Pais, una zona donde la liz llega para algunas horas en el día y nosotros garantizamos luz 24 h con un gasto enorme en combustible por la planta , una zona donde el señal telefónico no llega y nosotros garantizamos un servicio internet excelente, la habitación donde ustedes han alojado dispone de una grande ventana protegida también con malla anti insectos que ustedes podían abrir a su placer si no querían disfrutar del optimo implanto de aire acondicionada , las toallas no son de exelente calidad, son de buena calidad, limpia y perfumada y se la cambiamos todos los días, las camas y lo colchones son de optima calidad y muy confortable, no tenemos ningún problema de agua caliente que está en todas nuestra habitaciones fue solo un mal entendido arriba de el funcionamiento de la llave de la ducha que es de nueva generación con válvula termostática. Los sentimos mucho que no se quedaron contento, ustedes para nosotros fueron clientes muy amable. Stefano

NO star hotel
The staff are working incredibly hard to avoid the inevitable; NO guest from the industrialized world will ever revisit this hotel! The only possibility would possibly be; to stop ....in the adverts, and sell this hostal very cheap. They claim that they are "remodeling", but it seemd nobody are working on anything at the moment.? Nothing works here! We moved room four times in three days. The pool is so filthy it couldnt be used, they emptied it on the day we left... The beach has disappeared! Probably a looong time ago? If you walk through the bush for 10 min. You will get to a OK beach at Playa Quemaitos. The only place we found worth visiting in the area was Bahia de Aguilas, 2,5 -3 hours drive towards Haiti.
