Hi Jan-Yves,Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for the encounter with the insect, but please know that we do treat our property and rooms regularly for all pests. This was indeed unfortunate.We did have the opportunity to turn the a/c unit on in the room to which you were relocated, as it is the hotel’s policy for guest comfort to cool the room prior to check-in.We are unfortunately not certain what may have occurred upon your stay and the challenges with the a/c unit.While you had declined another suggested room, we do hope we may again welcome you to the Palms Resort for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Good morning Many thanks for your feedback as I always appreciate comments to see how we can improve services. I do apologise for any inconveniences caused during your stay and that we did not meet your expectations. We did start a refurb on one room but was delayed due to Covid but will hopefully make some changes soon . That room is sold as part of our room count and is based on request and availability but is not advertised thru our tour ops. All the best to you. Hopefully we will see you some time again.

I do apologise for your disappointment but nowhere is it suggested to clients booking thru a Tour operator or online booking that all rooms are renovated. It is noted that you booked online and not thru an agent based on room purchase thus the misunderstanding and disappointment. Thru real estate agents it does speak of room sales based on show room description. As explained to you with the interruption of Covid-19 plans came to a halt. It is with regret that your expectations were not met. Stay safe
