I've check in few times at HGG since 2013 and recently 6/11/22 it's such a nostalgic feeling it's still is what it is the staffs friendly as usual. Respect and acknowledgement you'll get by them. Positive and Negative aspect of Golden Gate Hotel
Well I can't expect too much from this hotel, bcos it only costs me S$9 for a night stay. Room is clean, AC is good, toilet clean with hot shower. But I was quite disappointed bcos there wasn't WiFi access on all floors internet except the lobby. But the biggest plus about the hotel is the amenities - DC Mall is one minute away and abundant of eateries.

Located in busy market place was a bit hard to find rooms ok main issue was internet service very bad won’t work in room have to go down to reception area to get signal

standard hotel for budget price. web site say have coffee making jug but none in the room

had problem with checkin, hotel didn't have reservation details in their system. But resolved fast. Friendly staff

Worst hotel with bad service .
The worst holiday that I have encounter with my husband , on my first day check in already bad and what make it worse is my 3 day of holiday , our room have a bad wifi connection and we spend our day with no wifi . I will never book this hotel ever again .

WiFiの電波は弱い。 洗面台の水道が押しボタン式で、水を使う時に片手しか使えない。 １Ｆの部屋は、ロビーやレストラン部分からの騒音がある。

Hotel was fairly satisfactory. Don't expect too much for a cheap hotel. Service was good and food was good too
