Due to having a listed building, we are limited with space, so try to do the best we can with the layout we have. Hi Neil, We are sorry to see you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, our staff aren't in the bar until 8am. But our housekeeper would have been more than happy to give you your deposit back. We are very sorry for any inconvinience regarding towels, we had ran out and were awaiting a delivery. Due to being a listed building we are limited in what we are allowed to do with our space - we try to make the best of this by providing fridges, a microwave and tea and coffee facilities for guests to use! We are very sorry that your food was taken from the fridge, this is not something we tolerate in our hostel - if anything like this is reported to staff, we do our very best to resolve the situation.
