Hotel was average, however, the staff and employees were extra nice and very accommodating. Great staff. However, the rooms could use some deep cleaning and repairs. Had frayed carpet, missing the floorboards, and bedsheets had crumbs in them, but the room was supposedly clean. Was very average, could use improvement on the facilities and room. Staff was amazing.

Real bad place to stay
Our first room #201 was a disaster, first of all there was a black nightie and a bottle of pills up in the kitchen cabinet. The pill bottle had a first name of Francis on it. There was black shaving hair up around the edge of the whirlpool tub. There wasn’t even enough hot water to take a shower. Then we didn’t even notice that there was a big gap in the door where it had Been forcefully opened. It was late at night by that time and we were tired from traveling. I moved the coffee table over in front of it. And sleep with my handgun. The next morning I went down and complained a second time about the room. They moved us to #227 we get in there and the bathroom light wouldn’t come on. I call down to the front desk. She said she would send a maintenance guy up. I told her we had some where to be. So the housekeeper lady comes up walked straight into the bathroom and flipped the switch and stated it always hS that problem it just has to be wiggled a lot. So we were in a hurry. We get back late and go to bed. Well sure enough the bathroom light want come on during the night do we could see how to go to use the restroom safely. So when we went down to check out I tried to get a glass of juice they had already close down the food area at 9:40 am which it was supposed to be at 10 am. It was a bad stay to say the least. Will not recommend this hotel

The staff were wonderful and helpful. However, maintenance of the property is severely lacking; mold on the ceilings, washer/dryer ruined some of our clothes, floor tiles were loose/broken. Breakfast was bare minimum but did have cooked eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits & gravy

Fresh towels daily very nice. Staff very friendly. Bathroom floor grout job terrible. Pieces of grout all over floor. Wednesday night around 9:30-10 pm of stay loud and crude family arrived down the hallway from us. They yelled and slammed doors for about 30-45 min. Thank goodness noise from ac helped mask it. Elevator is very small and a little difficult to navigate with luggage.

Great for an overnight trip!
Nice area, felt safe. It is a smaller hotel, which was nice. Breakfast buffet was sort of hectic because there were a lot of people and only 1 worker.

The beds are really comfy which is awesome but the overall experience at this hotel was kind of disappointing. First when we get there, they don't have any of the carts to help us bring our bags in and we had a lot to bring in so that was annoying. Then the pool that's there looks almost nothing like the pool pictured on the website. The breakfast was ok but nothing to super rave about. Lastly and probably the most annoying was there was not enough parking for all the guests. If you came back to the hotel after 8pm, you had to either make your own parking spot by the entrance or park somewhere down the road and walk back. The area we were in was definitely not an area you want to leave your car just out in the open. That just seems like such a flaw for a hotel to not be able to accommodate all their guests like that. Like, we want to feel like our vehicle is safe especially when you've driven as far as we have. I definitely will not be staying there ever again.

Didn’t feel safe
We arrived after dark to find about 8 men grilling on a charcoal grill, drinking alcohol, using foul language, playing loud rap music at the front entrance. Both nights! And I was double charged for our room. Called the hotel and the clerk says he would have to investigate. I also told him about the men at the entrance and he said he would have the manager call me, he hasn’t called.

Despite the unexpected construction of the property and closure of the pool, the upgraded rooms were very nice, quiet, and spacious. Morning staff were very pleasant and staff in general were willing to quickly resolve any issues that arose. Being outside of the Baton Rouge area meant a quieter environment. Once the property is done being renovated, it will be a perfect stay.

The exterior building was disgusting. There were mattresses and rugs and the walls and foundation were falling apart the pictures were fake on the website. we refused to step in to the hotel as it may have fallen down.

Could not stay
This hotel was in major construction when I visited. Could not possibly stay and left. Not a great location.
