Overall very good. Charges for laundry are exhorbitant, $12 for the washer and $12 for the dryer surpass even international resort charges.

Everything was good, rooms cleaned and serviced daily, however the mattress on double bed was too hard, could have used a foam topper to soften the feel.

Very clean and tidy with comfy beds, enjoyed our stay. Just the toilet made loud noises in the night and didn't flush well, and the shower had very low pressure - stayed in winter but may still have had water restrictions or something.

Great location. Spacious rooms. Only thing I didn't like was the small bathroom and shower over the bath. Would have preferred a separate shower.

Location was ultra convenient having everything we needed a stones throw away. The rooms were big with a decent sized kitchen, dining room and lounge. The host was prompt, professional and helpful.

The property is in the centre of town so is perfectly placed and is easily accessed from the main road. The only issue I really had was the very poor WIFI connection, it made working difficult which was disappointing.

Dear Guest, thank you for your comments. We have upgraded our WIFI system last month. We have one guest staying with us tonight and he came to the office said same thing that he could not get on WIFI, then we suggested he restart his laptop and it worked perfectly. After your comments, we have checked with our guests more often on WIFI performance, it seem fine.

The manager Howard was very helpful, kind and hospitable. He made our stay a memorable one. Our car was parked right in front of our apartment, it was very easy to load and unload our luggages. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance.

Pricing is deceptive - booked 2 bedroom unit for three people & upon arrival was told i need to pay an extra surcharge for each guest, despite the number of people staying was less than the maximum allowable in the room & no additional bedding/services provided.

Location is brilliant, easy walk to town. Overall good value for money, bit of confusion over our booking but it got sorted out at the office. Unit was a bit light on flowing soap and the like but not a big issue.

Basic room with sufficient kitchen and bathroom. Convenient location. Given age of the motel, not the best sound dampening as I could hear the room above. Plus the pipes/shower running could be heard from the other room. Overall acceptable.

Kerikeri Half Marathon weekend
We had a one bedroom unit, had everything we needed in it, and it was extremely clean! We found the bed comfortable, the shower was fine - there were plenty of white fluffy towels for us to use. Location was fantastic, we were there for the Half Marathon event, and just a few minutes walk to the finish line and the street party, as well as loads of choices for breakfast and dinner. Only downside was that it was a little noisy at night - this unit backs on to the drive through at McDonalds, and the sound was carrying from the street party too. It was a hot night so we had the windows open. Would absolutely stay here again! Thanks to the wonderful hosts!

Very central. Close to all the shops and easy parking. Only a few minutes drive to The Stone Store and other attractions. Furnitures and facilities are not very modern but the room is very spacious and everything is well maintained and clean. Very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome with no-hassle check-in and check-out. I visited during summer time and it does get pretty hot in the room. There is a fan but no air conditioning. Swimming pool is fairly small and really suitable for children to play in. Overall a good motel to stay in Kerikeri.

This motel is very central. The Intercity Coach stop and many restaurants are nearby. It is also near a supermarket. Rooms are spacious and the owners are very friendly and helpful.
