The grounds & general lay-out of the Lodge was lovely.
The actual accommodation was mediocre - edge of bench was cracked, microwave was about 100 years old, and to plug it in, it had to be moved then the cord stretched across the sink to get to the power point. To use the sink, which was placed in a corner of the bench, you had to lean in at a very awkward angle. Bathroom walls scuffed; need a jolly good paint. However, the unit was spacious & had good curtaining at the front windows. The staff were friendly, & the restaurant occupying the same site was a bonus.
