Great spot. Not too far from San Pedro (easy golf cart ride) but out of the city so much more peaceful and quiet. For sure rent a golf cart.

Beautiful, clean facility. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Shuttle service was perfect. Couldn't have been better.

Belizean Shores was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Loved that the teens had a sleeping loft in our Upper Level Pool View place. The dock was also the nicest one around with hammocks, travertine deck, lounge chairs, tables, couches, etc. Plenty of shade or places to get sun, whichever you choose. Bottled water provided in room and everything was comfortable and well appointed. Super clean and great staff too. While it's not fancy, it met more than our needs!

The room was appointed with cookware etc but no wine glasses. The bed was old and moved like a waterbed. The Air conditioner system is antiquated and VERY loud. The front desk upon checking in was not very informative about dining options other than mentioning the pool bar and room service. No mention of alternative activities other than what they could book through the resort. The pool was murky and the beach was not well maintained. Lots of washed up kelp and the water was full of debris. In fairness this was caused I think by the prevailing winds which were constant. Having said that other areas of the island had better maintained beaches. The charge for the Airport shuttle at $15.00 US per person each way seemed excessive. It was the first ocean front place we stayed that you couldn’t hear the ocean because of the air conditioning systems.

Everything from the rooms to the staff were excellent. Belizean shores is the ultimate relaxation spot. We will definitely go back to San Pedro and make Belizean shores our first resort choice.

Really an amazing property, not most places past the bridge have dining options, the tipsy lobster is absolutely amazing. Go location almost center to secret beach and town. The place is so amazing will be back in may for another amazing week.

Our stay at Belizean Shores was nothing short of fantastic. There’s so much to do and see in and around San Pedro and the staff was so helpful in sharing ideas for us to explore. And the staff is extremely kind and friendly. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view. We plan to come back.

Great Property , right on the beach and a super peaceful area. Staff were very attentive , great drinks at the pool bar. Super easy to book excursions and tours through the front desk. I would definitely stay here again ! Easily a 9/10.

The staff here was amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. They helped us book transportation, activities, and got to know us. The location was nice, not too far from secret beach (via golf cart that you can rent from them) and some restaurants across the street. You can also go to the bar and restaurant at their sister resort. The pool was nice and the bartenders were great.

💯 this was better than I imagined, the place is beautiful, it’s so relaxing and the grounds are kept so nice. Everyone from the front desk reception, to the housekeepers to the hardworking guys that take such good care of the property are so welcoming and the hospitality is above and beyond! The bartenders just as fabulous with a special shout out to Wayne who really is so attentive and so friendly. Scheduling activities, renting golf carts and ordering food were all a breeze and the tuff e nuff crew was 💯as well. Our snorkel guides Pepper and Kayson, awesome! Can’t wait to go back!

Pretty resort with great amenities
Beautiful hotel, great location and friendly staff. The pool is beautiful with a swim up bar. They put in a ton of activities: free, kayak, use, paddle boards, basketball, tennis, volleyball, games, etc.

We travelled for the Holidays to Belize with our 9 yr old and 2 yr old. The pool was perfect for families, our room overlooked the pool. Dock was beautiful with hammocks and seating to watch sunrises. Staff was so friendly to the kids and we felt very safe. Room was beautiful and very spacious. A golf cart is def a must cause your so far from town but we rented our own and enjoyed the ride into town. I’ve been to San Pedro 7 times since I was a kid and glad to be away from the busy town as it’s becoming overcrowded and over commercialized. Will def book Belizean Shores again for our next stay!

This was the best property I’ve stayed at on a vacation. The staff really made the whole trip. Very friendly and helpful….so kind. Room were very clean, right on the beach. Nice dock to walk out on and watch the sunrise from and swim and tan during the day. So much natural wildlife seen right there everyday.

Fabulous Property
Belizean Shores was perfect for our family holiday. The staff were responsive and professional. Our beds were quite uncomfortable and they were able roger foam mattress toppers for all three beds improving our sleep. It’s well laid out and there are excursions available right from the dock.

Excellent family friendly resort
My husband and I first arrived at Belizean Shores ten years ago for our honeymoon. Ten years later, we brought our daughter. The place continues to be well maintained, service prompt and helpful, and it offered all the amenities we needed for a family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, the AC perfect, and the furnishings comfortable. It was wonderful being able to borrow kayaks and paddleboards from the resort for free. You can go snorkeling a short paddle away from the beach in very quiet and calm waters. Tuff Enuff has an office on the dock of the hotel so you can easily book outings from the tour company. This resort is about a 15 min golf cart ride to San Pedro, but there's now a small produce market right in front of the resort and a great restaurant across the street, the Tipsy Lobster. It might make sense for a family to bring food or make a stop in the grocery in San Pedro, SuperBuy, to pick up what you need. Dining options aren't plentiful by foot. We were so grateful for the helpful service that Esmeralda and Caren in particular delivered throughout our stay. Antonio, head of security, went out of his way to assist us when we had problems with machinery.

The staff was extremely helpful and communicated with us before the trip to ensure we had transportation arrangements and acticities booked. The resort actually had a sandy beach with access to the water. Many hotels on the island don't have beach access, even if they're right on the water. The only negative is the construction next door and the decor is a little dated. But the amenities and staff make up for that. We already want to go back!

The staff was super friendly. Lots to do for kids at the hotel - ping pong, tennis, basketball, life size chess, great pool, volleyball. But we had sugar ants in the kitchen, the toilet didn't work great, and the AC wasn't the best. In their defense it was crazy hot the week we were there. Would overall recommend!

We had a wonderful week in a two story ocean view room with two adults and two kids. We loved having a separate sleeping area upstairs for the kids. It was nice to have a kitchen with a microwave and fridge for leftovers. The property is very clean and everyone is helpful and accommodating. The pool bar bartenders were attentive and the drinks were delicious. They used fresh pineapple in the pina coladas, which were ice cold. We did several tours with Tuff-E-Nuff (scuba, snorkeling, and a day trip to Caye Caulker). Ernest was a great (and safe) dive master. The coral and fish are the most beautiful I’ve seen anywhere in the world, and just a short boat ride away. James and Andre gave us a fantastic day with handmade ceviche, rum punch, great music, and loads of local history and fish identification. I loved the quiet, laid back vibe of Caye Caulker. We rented a golf cart for adventures around the island (Secret Beach and San Pedro). There are great dining options nearby, including the food we ordered at the pool bar and a special dinner at the sister resort, Cocoblanca. We also ate well at the Tipsy Lobster, which is across the road. In the mornings, sometimes you can catch a guy selling awesome breakfast burritos and tamales from his bike. The resort was very quiet and clean and the service was outstanding.

We stayed at Belizean shores for our honeymoon and had a great experience. September is the slow season, and we were one of few guests on the property. But that did not stop the staff from checking in and ensuring all our needs were met. I was especially grateful for Janelly, the concierge, who checked in a few months and weeks prior to our stay and helped us book hopper flights and an excursion. We will definitely stay again! Beautiful views, great pool and bar. Only wish they would have had a spa and restaurant on the property, but it was an easy walk across the street to their sister resort or the few food options in walking distance.

Belizean shores
Belizean shores is a very comfortable place to stay. The pool is very nice and the rooms are clean and up to date. The only downside is that you can’t swim on their beach, it has a ton of sea grasses. But, there’s beaches 15 minutes away by golf cart. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart for the week, you will need it to explore. I would stay there again, the staff is good as well.
