AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter is still staying there for several weeks until the remodel is complete on her house. This has not been a positive experience! The first room which she had to move from the floor in the bathroom area was 'squishy' from ? Then the toilet seat broke in her 2nd room they would not replace it and wanted her to move again after settling into the room for 1 1/2 weeks. NOW the WIFI does not work and she can't do her work online!!!!! She is looking for some where else to go at present. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I suggest removing this place from ;your list.

Hotel stay
I like this hotel for the convience ,l don't really appreciate how dirty the outside it, the last time I stayed there the garbage was piled up outside and was still there the next morning. But the rooms are clean ( if not a little hodgepodge ) and the beds comfortable and that is all I was using the room for, sleep, and the beds are really good.

Renovated Rooms
Nice, clean and it seems recently renovated. At least our room was. The clerk was nice and answered some questions about our road trip. We stayed there on our way from Canada to San Francisco.

This hotel had a lot of problems during my stay, including the office being closed and dead bolted during check out time, but whatever I only paid $60 and the room was clean

Room was clean. Exterior of bldg. was a little below average and the grounds were deplorable. Garbage everywhere. The grassy area in front of the motel was absolutely covered with dog piles. C'mon, it cannot cost that much to pick up garbage, dirty diapers and dog crap. Won't stay again.

When we arrived at 6.30 pm , no one was there in the office. We I called the number on the door I was informed that the clerk was getting something to eat and would return in 10 minutes. He returned and all was well . Our room was clean and recently renovated.

Motel 6 - not as well kept as usual
It just needs some cleanup outside. Garbage around. Online it said it was completely booked but we found that hard to believe judging by the amount of vehicles. This was really nice for us though, quiet (especially the second night). We were graciously given a different room as a crying baby was in the room adjacent to us the first night. Love the location - quiet, by a river, secluded.

Checked in to the hotel around 4pm, then met our family in birch bay for the evening. Came back to our room at 11pm and the key would not work. Tried and tried to get into the room and finally an angry person answered the door to the room and said it was his room even though we had checked in earlier. Thankfully when we checked in we didn’t leave any of our belongings in the room. And thankfully they happened to have one room left. Was not impressed - pee on the shower curtain, dirty, no clock, one towel, nothing but a sheet and blanket on the bed.

Good for the price
Basic amenities, but we didn't have shampoo or kleenex supplied. Was alright cause we had luckily brought our own. Was really awesome to have a microwave and fridge though! Was quiet and conveniently close to the I-5 highway, restaurants and big bargin grocery store. Also seemed cleaner and more spacious having laminent floors and not carpet. We would go back!

Didn't stay - Hotels.com reservation never made it to the propety. 2,5hrs on the phone with ”cusomter service” @ hotels.com and I ended up having to go find another hotel on my own! It's doubtful I will be using hotels.com again. Motel 6 was very ”worn” in appearance, a fairly undesirable area of town and did not appear in very good repair. Alex at the front desk was as helpful as possible given the circumstances but with other options nearby I would consider those in the future over this particular location.

We got to the motel at 5pm to check in. The man said our room wouldn’t be ready for a while. I confirmed that check in started at 3pm but apparently our room wasn’t clean yet. We were told to return in 45 minutes. We got back at 6pm to find almost a dozen people standing around. The office was locked! I called the phone number and was told he was not n his way. 10 minutes later he finally showed up, he had gone to get dinner. The bed was comfortable and the price was fine but I wouldn’t recommend this place just due to the freaking hassle of checking in. I would have stayed somewhere else but everything was booked.

Customer service was terrible. I booked the room through Hotels.com and paid more than the room should have been. When I asked for a receipt I was given a receipt with a different total and different credit card. I am positive I was provided the wrong information. I called the desk to ask about it and all he kept saying was I received the right room and wouldn't answer my question. The room was not provided with any shampoo or conditioner, one tiny bar of soap and not enough towels. There also was not a coffee maker or blow dryer in the room, which are listed as amenities for this hotel. The kid at the front desk was more involved with hanging out with his buddy rather than helping the guests. He also wasn't able to provide information as to what was in the area. The hotel is provided in a decent area, but if you look this one up through Google, the first article that pops up is about a shooting that occurred there a couple of months ago. A but startling for someone that stayed with children there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely shell out the additional $20-$30 to stay at a different hotel in the area. This is a trip we have to make once a year and I was very dissatisfied with the whole experience. Positives: the bed was comfortable but did not have comforters, only sheets.

I booked a single kind bed and ended up getting a double queen beds. Wasn't happy about paying for a bigger bed and they gave me whatever they wanted.

The front desk person was not knowledgeable, the room was ok the bed was not comfortable and very aqueaky, the pullows were uncomfortable and there was only one towel in the bathroom the rest were outside the bathroom so if there is more than one person they would have trouble.

Avoid until they get some staff
No one was on duty in office -- a sign on door had you call to summon help. (The explanation was understaffing -- the fact that this was a printed note means this has been going on for some time. One woman was trying to be both manager, office staff and room cleaner.) As we checked in at 5 pm we were told room was not ready... she estimated 45 minutes. We came back at 6 it was still not ready. Finally around 7 she finished. We had requested a ground floor room because we have small dogs who have difficulty going up concrete stairs. She put us on the second floor. The room was OK, nice layout and comfortable. It had a microwave on top the fridge... but the cord was too short to reach the plug. We had to move it over to the table to use it, which impacted the space on the table. Before 6am, cars started arriving in the parking lot. They had a radio on which woke us up and our dogs. When we went outside, guys were tailgating in the lot. We got out of there as soon as possible. I would not recommend this hotel until they get some staff.

No ambiance
The location is very good but its an unfinished remodel that failed miserably. Whoever did the redesign concept should be fired as they have no clue of necessity items a room needs . Clean and quiet but poor layout takes away from saying how good it “could” be . Front desk was very nice and helpful as cable was confuseing . Not my favourite so far . 🙁

Dirty and sketchy
The room hadn't been cleaned. There was hair in the sink, grease in the microwave and floorboards were coming up. The room next to us were smoking weed constantly and had a dog that wouldn't let us past. The room on the other side of us gad "visitors" ever 20 minutes or so. God knows what they were up to. Stomping noises all thru the night. Will never stay here again!

The stay at Motel 6 was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were very clean. Ferndale, WA is a small town with amenities close by.

Get what you pay for.
Room was very sparse. Had a bed, chair and tv. Thin towels. Good shower and tv. Nice king bed. No coffee except in the office in the morning. Lots of plug ins to power up your devices.

Giant room
I've stayed at about 10 different motel 6 locations in last couple of years. This place has the biggest room.. hands down. No problem with a/c during the heat wave in August . Refrigerator and Free wifi offered unlike most motel 6's. amenities wise.. I'd rank this place #1 among other motel 6. I did get a slight attitude from thr owner lady.. but front desk employees were great.

Nice stay close to Bellingham
Nice comfortable room, bare bones, nothing fancy. There was a flat screen TV and good cable service. There was wi-fi, but had to ask the front desk to reset a couple times as it kept cutting out. Comfortable bed and pillows. Towels could be upgraded as far as size and quality.

Hair in bath tub, water in shower came out orange at first, just left dirty. But..Bed was comfortable and clean.
