It was lovely and refreshing
Always nice to walk into a room that is clean and welcoming. It was 90 degrees outside, but so comfortable in our room. Beds were perfect for a good night's rest and complimentary breakfast choices were vast and tasty. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and personable. Thanks for a mighty fine visit.

Nice hotel, on the water!
We came for a long weekend. I found the hotel on the City's website and it took me to another link. It has everything we wanted, beach access and a restaurant attached. We spend three days on the water and loved that you could just beach the boat if you needed to come to shore for something. Also the boat landing was not even a block away.

Very nice place. enjoyable
Arrived and greated promptly and friendly staff. The room was excellent, with a great view of Lake Bemidji. The adjoining restaurant was busy, so took a walk downtown. Friendly area and easy walk, minus the wind gusts. Comfortable beds with nice amenities. Excellent breakfast on the way out.

Beautiful beach access
The hotel was immaculate. All the amenities were of good quality. But sitting outside and enjoying the lake made the stay special.

Nice hotel on a beautiful lake.
We stayed for 3 days and had a great time. We had a Lakeview room that was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave to make snacks for our toddler. They really need to correct the issues with the pool and hot tub. The pool bottom and walls could use a good scrub because it appeared dirty. The hot tub looked disgusting! There were brown stains and broken tiles. I was surprised people went in it. If those two things were fixed I would have nothing to complain about. The free breakfast was actually really good. The food was fresh and the area was kept clean even when it was really busy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Stayed with my kids after one got sick at camp. Maybe the reservation 5 minutes prior to our arrival. Staff was super friendly and the view out the back was beautiful. Great breakfast in the morning. Pillows... were ridiculous. The size of small square couch cushions. Quite odd as I've never seen this at a Hampton.

Exceptional
Clean, comfortable, fast, big. I needed to use the computer to print something and it was a laser printer that was full of paper and easy to use. Great experience.

Great pool
The pool/hot tub are the highlight. The kids loved this. Breakfast also good. Our room curtain was ripped, but otherwise clean and well kept hotel and rooms.

Great Staff & Cleanliness
Really was impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness of the breakfast staff. Food was well-stocked, tables were cleaned after people finished eating and the staff offered to take away dirty dishes. We loved the cleanliness of the room and the fact that all bedding including the douvets got cleaned after each guest finished there stay in the room. Loved the location on the lake. We stayed in the winter and watched the ice fishermen. Would love to visit in the summer. Loved the cleanliness of the pool. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Loved everything and would stay again! Great Job!

Nice hotel, but....
Great hotel on a scenic spot overlooking a beautiful lake. I might have even paid extra to have a room with the view over the lake. But the windows were so dirty and covered with spider webs that I kept the drapes shut because it was so irritating. Like looking at a beautiful scene through a box of kitty litter. I think I will try the new Doubletree Inn right next door the next time.

Wonderful setting, fantastic hotel.
Beautiful setting, right on the lake. Great, comfortable lobby, perfect place to meet up with small groups. Higher quality warm/cold complimentary breakfast than anticipated. Rooms were large and meticulously clean. Overall, we had a great stay and are already planning our next visit!

Mediocre Cost Performance
There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but nothing particularly remarkable about it either. A large tree directly in front of my "lake view" room seriously reduced the value of the room. Yes, I could see the lake, but basically I considered it to be a "tree view" room. The windows were also filthy because of bird "residue". Expedia apparently does not like reviews that mention cost, but the bottom line is that I did not feel like I got my money's worth. I would have rated the place higher otherwise.

Amazing Staff
This hotel had the most friendly staff I've had the pleasure of meeting. They allowed me to check in early, enrolled me in their rewards program and told me about their breakfast hours in the morning. Everything I needed to know quickly during check-in and then got me on my way.

Ok hotel
First the hotel is too expensive for one night. The pool area was not clean and never had towels. My rooms bathroom the toilet wouldn't flush, the bathtub and sink wouldn't drain. I called for a late check out and was told no. Overall I wouldn't stay there again.

We were on the fifth floor away from the other guests. Our room was great --- the only that that would have made it better would be to be on the lake side of the hotel. Great way to celebrate our 34th anniversary

Pool chemicals were a bit harsh but the size was perfect for young kids, the hot tub was neat too. Breakfast was awesome, but our room wasn't touched until we asked a maid for towels, and that was all we got. We emptied our garbage after she left without doing it.

Great location and view
The room was spacious and the view was great. We were on the 4th floor with a lake view and optioned up for the suite. I only gave the condition of the room a 4 instead of 5 since the carpet under the desk was worn out/down to the fiberglass backing. I know it seems minor to replace a whole rooms carpet due to one area, but that does give the appearance of "run down" and not pristine in my opinion. Also, the cleanliness was great minus the shower. The shower had mold growing/showing in the corners of the grout. The pool area was nice - the main pool is very small, but works for smaller kids and is fine if there are only 6-8 people in there at once. The beach was so-so. Too much Goose droppings and sticks and such on the actual beach to the point that we elected to change our plans and NOT sit out on the beach for a day. Overall, it is a good hotel - the breakfast was good and the staff was excellent. Just don't expect marble floors and painted ceilings when you stay here. It is a good value with continental breakfast and it is close to Itasca State Park (30 mins) - so that is exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice but didn't sleep well. There was a random noise at night that would start that sounded like a generator. Not sure what it was but it woke us up quite often.

Nice hotel, don't plan on having visitors
Hotel was great. Clean, large rooms, awesome view, great breakfast. I used to live in the area and when I stay at this particular hotel I invite a friend or two and their children to come swimming with my children since they have an awesome kiddie pool. This time when my friends were there I had a manager come over and tell me that I had too many visitors and we had to leave the pool area. The did let us use the beach which was fine, but all the kids were excited for the pool so they were very disappointed. And nobody was rough housing or causing any problems. If there was a visitor rule I would have gladly followed it, but I felt very singled out. I was paying good money to stay there.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was very nice at this price point and I thought that the complimentary breakfast was well done. I also appreciated the complimentary drink that was offered upon arrival. After a long day of traveling, that was greatly appreciated.

Great stay!
Hampton Inn in Bemiji is a great place to stay! Not only is there a great beach and pool, the hotel staff and accomodations were top notch. We had signed up for a lakeview room and when we checked in, our room did not face the lake. With a call to the front desk, we were quickly moved to a lakeview room. Because of the hassle, we were given a 'gift bag' with various drinks and snacks that we all enjoyed. In addition, when we requested a cot for our room, it was complimentary due to the room mix up. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice gestures that were offered. The staff were all very friendly and treated us like they were very happy we were staying with them. I would definitly stay at the Hampton Inn if we are in Bemiji again.

Told staff that treadmill broken and unsafe and they did not immediately take it out of service. They, in fact seemed uninterested. Breakfast was excellent and the woman serving/assisting was helpful/friendly/excellent! Nice Hotel overall.

Wonderful Hotel
We could not have asked for more out of a hotel! I have a 7 year old, 3 year old and a 5 month old. The accomidations were great and the pool area super! The pool area had something for each age group. We would stay at this location again in a heart beat!

Great kiddy pool
My daughter enjoyed the pool area and it was clean. The guy at front desk was a little rude in the evening but the am guy was super helpful and friendly and didn't like being charger extra right away for the accidental then given back after our stay.
