Very spacious room, clean with wonderful view of the lake. Easy parking. Comfy bed. Thin towels and noise from overhead neighbors with heavy feet were detractors. Didn’t try the breakfast or pool. Miss the restaurant next door and being able to grab a cocktail nearby.

Staff was very nice and accomodating. Hotel was clean and we loved our room. The woman working the dinning and breakfast in the morning was absolutely sweet kind and attentive, she really takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

The breakfast was very good. The bathroom floor in our room was cracked, and the fixtures were a bit old, but the room was very clean and appealing. One staff member at the breakfast bar was extremely loud and was speaking on her phone, but the rest of the breakast and hotel staff were extremely helpful, supportive and welcoming. We would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again in the future.

Old hotel, rooms, heavily used, very mediocre. Lightbulb out in one lamp, ice maker did not work, found another icemaker, and it didn’t work either. Not what you would call a nice hotel. This said breakfast was very good. Had real bacon and eggs. Overpriced for a Wednesday and February.

The room was so spacious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool and whirlpool were great and the view of Lake Michigan across the street made our stay incredible!

Wonderful staff! Loved Jenny who took care of breakfast. She was so kind and thoughtful, made our stay there very enjoyable. We had the large reception room for all our family to gather in and found it very comfortable.

Hidden Gem?
The check-in started a little rocky, hotels.com had not sent the hotel my reservation. However, after a few minutes Jake at the front desk was able to get everything taken care of. Overall, we had a nice stay. We typically stay at a different hotel while in St. Joe but that hotel is under construction, that led us to this Holiday Inn which is close to downtown, clean, friendly staff. We may have found our new favorite hotel while in St. Joe!

The staff was friendly, helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was great and the hotel was ver quiet. The rooms were a bit dated, but they were big, beds were very comfortable, and the view of Lake Michigan were just perfect. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I will be coming back.

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were quite quite friendly. The breakfast was fresh and dining room was also clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Almost perfect but would stay again!
Beautiful location! Front desk staff was nice and courteous!!! Requested a room w/ a view of the lake and though they stated standard rooms did not have, we did have a side view! Was much better than a view of the parking lot 😊 Could have been cleaner. Behind the beds were REALLY dusty! (I always look for evidence of bed bugs! Good there!!) Coffee maker was GROSS! I used bottle water, which I'm sure most don't! I brewed just a plain cup of water 1st and I could see all sorts of nasty stuff floating in my cup after I brewed it. So then I had to wait and go down to get a cup of coffee from breakfast area.Those really should be included in housekeeping! Run vinegar then water thru to clean the lime scale!! They are basically useless if not cleaned, in my opinion! The beds were mostly comfortable but the pillows were too soft for my hsband and I. Woke up with stiff necks! Could use some hooks in the room for hanging clothes, etc. Hot breakfast was not too bad, even had turkey sausage for those that do not eat pork!! Bacon would be better 😆 The pancake machine is pretty awesome!! We did get to use the pool and hot tub in the morning, which was nice, but by evening that area was overtaken by a bunch of teenagers. No one at fault for that, to be expected anytime you stay somewhere with an indoor pool😉 This will more than likely be our hotel choice when visiting Saint Joe again!

Top IHG spot
Came up to St Joe to attend the Fernwood Holiday Market. This is one of our favorite HIX hotels. Always clean, well maintained with a great variety of room choices. Breakfast is good, hotel is centrally located with awesome views of the Lake. Sometimes hard to get a room if it is a Notre Dame weekend but worth the effort!

Great location next to lake
Great stay, very clean rooms and common areas, lots of choices at breakfast, clean pool area, beautiful lake views. I'd stay here again. Rooms were quite roomy and the bed was very comfy. Only had one mishap with card lock not working but was quickly resolved. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

the location of the building with the traffic all day and night was dreadful, we couldn't enjoy sitting on the balcony and enjoy the lake view without the interruption of the traffic. just terrible
