베를린 중심가 아니어서 관광지로 나가려면 약 40분 정도 가야함. 베를린 스펜다우 지역에 있음 도착했던 금요일은 숙소 가는 길에 축제가 있어서 너무 좋았고 즐기게 되어 중앙역과 먼 곳에 숙소를 잡았단 후회가 없어짐 엘레베이터가 없어 올라가는데 힘들었지만 2층이어서 참을만 했고 공동 화장실과 샤워실을 써야 했지만 비수기여서 쓰는데 어려움은 없었고 매우 청결했음 맞아주고 배웅해주는 노부부가 인상적이었고 무료 조식도 참 맘에 들었음 재방문 의사 있음

Dear Guest,why doesn't this review surprise me? I can explain it, you called us on the arrival day with the information that you a not able to check in till 9 pm ( Which is the reception closing time and which cleary shown on all Expedia/Hotels.com pages ) you want to check-in at 11 pm which is definitely not possible because no one of the staff is here at this time.During the whole phone call you blamed us for this fact but it is not our mistake because we did not plan you schedules. After conctating the hotels.com staff we where so kind to cancel the first night free of charge and refunded this to you so that you could check in one day later ( normally there is no chance for a refund according to the guidelines ).But at least it is always the same, the Hotel is always the bad guy even it is all the guests mistake according to a bad planning.Best regards

Ich hatte das Hotel für 1 Nacht anlässlich eines Konzertes im Olympiastadion gewählt. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Fußgängerzone, ich hatte ein kleines Zimmer, Dusche mit im Zimmer- aber wer die Berliner Altbauten kennt, weiß, dass das nichts Ungewöhnliches ist. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück reichhaltig, liebevoll angerichtet, diverse Teesorten von Ronnefeldt, frisches Obst, Ei nach Wunsch und gratis Tipps vom gut informierten und engagierten Inhaber für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Alles in allem: alles richtig gemacht mit der Buchung! Ich komme gerne wieder!

A dreadful experience.
Arriving at Hotel Benn after 22.00 due to a flight delay of 90 minutes leaving Manchester, and not being able to get a signal on our phone, the driver who took us to the hotel tried calling only to get a recorded message that reception was now closed. We rang the bell several times and knocked on both doors but no one answered. Cold, dark, in a strange country and beginning to rain we were left on the doorstep with nowhere to go. Both in our 70s and my husband being disabled, no consideration was made as to where we might spend the night. The following morning the hotelier was less than polite or apologetic quoting his rights as to the time we should have been there.He was able to tell us that we arrived at 23.00 (in fact we don’t think it was that late!) so he must have known we were there. Surely someone must have been on the premises in case of an emergency. Not once in our three night stay for which we had paid for four nights did he ask where we had spent the Monday night nor did he offer any compensation. Thus we had three nights for the price of four - a good selling feature! I appreciate his rules but felt angry at the treatment we received. Had I been a pregnant virgin on a wee donkey I am sure he would have still left us in the gutter. His attitude spoilt our stay in Berlin as we couldn’t get out of our minds his unfriendliness. I wish him a Merry Christmas!

Dear guests, it is always easy to blame others even if maybe you make the mistakes on your own. The closing times of the reception are described on Expedia detailed and not hidden, so normally you have a good chance to plan your trip easy, even the flights. There were 3 ways to leave Manchester ( direction Berlin ) on a monday: 6:50 / 13:45/ 17:30 , your decision was to take the latest flight arriving at 20:25 in Berlin. If there are no delays you can reach the hotel during the normal opening times ( till 10 pm ). You must have been very unlucky if you had no chance to send a short mail from Manchester ( no signal as well ??? ) during your 90 min. delay, letting us now that there is a delay. If we had known there would be a delay we would have waited. According to your call ( incoming calls were noticed by the answering machine) we know the appr. time and knowing the normal arrival time at 20:25 adding 90 min. delay, getting the luggage and taking a taxi, then 23:00 is realistic. We contacted you before your arrival asking about the vaccination, this would be another chance for you to check the times. Why should we offer any compensation? Our staff waited till 10:15 pm, no arrival, no message , so we closed the hotel. Your comparison is a bit weird even in this strange times. Due to both reviews the Christmas wishes cannot be meant honestly, am I right? Best regards

お勧めのこじんまりしたホテル
最寄り駅は中央駅からSバーンの終点で降り、地下鉄で1駅で分かりやすい。最寄りのSバーン駅にはショピングモールがあり、国際列車の停車駅で便利。　ホテルは階段のみで狭い。これ以外は、朝食を含めて満足。

The staff are very nice and helpful! Breakfast is very nice with lots of selection, cheese, ham, bread, cereals, fruit and yogurt etc. It would be better if a kettle with tea and coffee are provided.

ok voor één nacht
Ligt in het oud centrum van Spandau. Geen parking, je moet in de straat in de buurt zoeken of parkeergarage. Had kamer op het 3e verdiep en er is geen lift. Receptie super vriendelijk en hulpvol. Prima ontbijt.

A very convenient location for the outdoor music arena. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean and nice and quiet street. Highly recommended and hopefully I will have a reason to come back. Missed breakfast as I had such a good nights sleep.
