Been coming to the WG for 10 plus years. I would say now that MB have taken over there has been a slight decline. Do not like complaining, as such but just would like to give some feed back over last few years.
Covid time saw pool now gone and not brought back. Toiletries changed last year from white tea to something inferior. This time I requested the white tea and they were there. Not the hard soap, that was some inferior blue bar. Day before we left there was loo roll but when we came back after a day out there was no loo roll whatsoever. Had to ask housekeeping for more. Used tea cup was not refreshed the next day. On a plus, nice touch with the sleep aid roller. I love this hotel, it is beautiful and I keep coming back every year. I am hoping it will be back to what it was in the early years. One other time, couple years ago, our luggage was lost somewhere in the hotel. We were departing and had to leave without it. It was then found and we turned back in taxi to pick up. Bit stressful but ok in the end. Lastly, has the White Tea toiletries been rebranded. The brown bottles are not as fragrant as the white, which incidentally, I purchase from the Westin store frequently. Sorry for this review but I am being honest and am a very frequent guest. I don’t want to stop coming owing to a decline. Regards and thanks for listening.
