Wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden, 1 Nacht in Meiringen zu verbringen. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Sehr sauberes Zimmer, angenehme Athmosphäre im Hotel, sehr freundliche Bedienung, grossartiges, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Wir werden dieses Hotel sicher wieder einmal buchen!

Wonderful
Big shout out to Simon who runs this hotel superbly the staff were attentive,friendly and professional.Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was a treat. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in.Very welcoming and I will return.

Would definitely stay here again
The entire staff was delightful. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner in the Victoria restaurant. Rooms are modern and very clean. Great location for hiking. Highly recommend.

Super hôtel
Charmant à tout point de vue. L'accueil est agréable et rapide, les chambres assez spacieuses, propres et confortables tout comme les salles de bain. L'hôtel est très facile d'accès et situé à quelques mètres de la gare sans que cela ne soit gênant niveau bruit (l'insonorisation des chambres est particulièrement à souligner), et le parking de l'hôtel est facturé CHF5- par nuit. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est copieux et très bon, et est servi dans la salle du restaurant de l'hôtel qui est lui-même excellent également, autant niveau service que qualité des plats. En bref, à recommander pour séjourner sur Meiringen.

Tolles Hotel mit einem sehr hilfsbereiten Personal, das einem immer freundlich und mit einem offenen Ohr begegnet. Selbst individuelle Wünsche wie die Reinigung der Radklamotten werden gerne erfüllt. Ein unerwarteter Service!!! Ein insgesamt tolles Erlebnis vom Empfang, über die sauberen Zimmer mit unheimlich bequemen Betten, zum reichhaltigen Frühstück (das Corona-bedingt kein Buffet zuliess). Vielen herzlichen Dank Familie Anderegg für die "gelebte" Gastfreundschaft.

Fabulous Property
Stay at The Victoria, Meiringen and you won't be disappointed. From the warm welcome, a comfortable room with a welcoming fruit basket and a breakfast with a wide variety of choices. A lovely gesture is the iced tea that you can help yourself to throughout the day and late afternoon iced coffee and cakes are provided on the house. In winter I was told gluhwein replaces the coffee.

Convenient and Best Restaurant in town
Upon arrival we are welcomed by the front desk and explained thoroughly to where our room is. Only downside is I find there is no air conditioning in the hotel and the days we arrived is pretty warm. Restaurant is excellent with breakfast included and it is very convenient close to train station and town.

Great Little Hotel in the Heart of Switzerland.
Great location across from the railway station and a beautiful place to wake up in the morning. Had a great view of the mountains. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great. A really comfortable place to stay. The only down side was the lack of a refrigerator in the room but this is normal for this part of the world. It was just that when I was there it was really hot and sunny and the place isn’t really designed for summer conditions. I certainly would stay here again.

Great stay near the Reichenbach Falls
The management and staff couldn’t have been more solicitous, helpful or anxious to please. The food is excellent. The location is great as well, in the heart of town with a view of the Reichenbach Falls. My room was comfortable, clean and had all the necessities, if a bit plain, but that was fine for me. Being within eyeshot of the train station was a minor detraction, but again might mean more to others than it did to me. And the Sherlock Holmes Museum is immediately across the street. I felt very well cared for. It was a great stay.

Good modern hotel.
The hotel is a nicely renovated house in town. Very modern room and clean. Staff was friendly and let me checkout a few minutes after regular time. Breakfast was good and choices available. All in all a nice clean stay.

We accidentally booked three rooms instead of only two. The hotel was not busy at all. The owner refused to compromise and refund us for the third room or at least compromise and not make us pay full price for an honest mistake. We did not realize we had a third room until we arrived. Expedia tried to speak with the owner, but they too were unable to get us a refund. The hotel was not booked, very few people. We think the owner just needed the extra $700.00. He was very rude and unwilling to do anything for us even after we spent $250.00 in his restaurant the first night we were there. We did this in hopes he would come around, but it did not work. Awful customer service. The beds are very hard and there is a construction site next door - awful noise.

Thank you for your comments - although through this channel. You booked three rooms online and three rooms were ready for you on arrival. Our cancellation policy is clearly stated. We feel that your comment that you were treated in an unfriendly manner is not correct. We were friendly and respectful despite your uncalled for behaviour. We were dumbfounded by your threats of not eating in our restaurant and writing a bad review. A reaction as such was completely uncalled for in this situation. We have been running our hotel for 25 years with a great deal of commitment. The welfare of our guests and genuine hospitality is extremely important to us. We walk the talk – every day.
