Thank you for taking time to review our lodge. To fill up the bathtub, you must ask the front desk for a clogging device. These are only provided upon request. While booking the reservation it never mentions anything about hangers. If you try filling up the bathtub, you will loose some hot water because filling up bathtub takes up a lot of water and on top there could be a possibility that someone else could filling up the bathtub too or showering. One more reason why we don't put any hangers is because we have experienced customers just stealing the hangers. They could have been provided upon request. If you had issues with your stay, you should have brought to our attention. So we could have done possible arrangements for the issues. 24-26 일 일정으로 제가 크리스마스 가족들을 위해 예약을 해 줬습니다 그러나 도착하자마자 방에 난방이 망가졌는데 아직 못고쳤다는 이유로 다른 방을 줬습니다 주방도 욕조도 없는 예약한 방과는 전허 다른 방이었습니다 동생이 장애가 있어서 밖에서 음식을 사 먹을 수 없는 상황이었고 준 방도 난방시설이 잘 안되서 추웠습니다!! 동생이 밖에 음식을 못 멋어 부억이 있는 곳을 예약하였고 부억이 있어서 음식도 다 준비해 싸 간 상태였는데 할 수없이 음식을 사서 먹고 돌아오자마자 몸상태가 안 좋아져 토하고 열이나고 집에 가야 하는 상황이 되었습니다. ( 응급실 이용 직전 ) 호텔에서는 이미 환불을 해 줬고 Hotels.com 에서 나머지 환불을 해 줘야 한다고 합니다 이게 뭡니까? 크리스마스날 가족아 모여 따뜻하게 보내야 할 마당에 예약한 방은 없고 다른 방은 엉망이고 그랬으면 방이 없다고 미리 말해줘야 하는 거 아닙니까 ????? 100환불을 원하며 연휴를 망치고 동생건강이 악화된 거에 대한 보상을 강력히 원합니다!!! 보시면 연락주십시오!

The room was cozy, it had a nice mini fridge and microwave. They have wide shower heads so the shower was good. It feels more like an actual bedroom rather than a hotel room which is nice. The door also had a really pretty stained glass panel, it felt like a mini cottage almost. However, we had a lot of issues. We booked a fireplace room and the fireplace worked for about 20 minutes before getting blocked. We also got locked out of the room due to the lock running out of battery and my boyfriend had to wait outside our room in the snow (at night) while I had to wait for one of the owners to help me. He was able to change the locks battery and get the fireplace to work, but like I said it only worked for about 20 minutes due to the gas being blocked which sucked. It was pretty close to the village which was good but it was snowing so we couldn't walk there. I imagine it's doable as it's only a few blocks. The bowling ally is also right across the street and there are family suites so it would probably be better for a family to go. It wasn't noisy except for some type of work going on at 10 PM that was rattling the walls. I thought it was the neighbor banging on the walls or slamming a drawer but in the morning we saw someone working on the property and they were making the same sounds. The walls are also paper thin, we could hear our neighbors talking.

Our room was small, dirty, old, and cramped. It was definitely in need of some TLC. The walls were painted, but so poorly that you could see the old color underneath. No care was taken to avoid the trim, as paint was slopped all over the place. The walls were dirty. The room smelled very bad, mostly the sheets, the toilet had 3 inches of caulking smeared all over the base. The shower was stained. The bathroom had a three light fixture, but only had one bulb in it. The walls were very thin so we could hear the neighbors very clearly late into the night. And if you need a blow dryer, bring one from home, this one was useless (no heat, barely put out air, and the cord was so small that you had to practially sit in the sink to use it.) Better off finding a different place to stay.

We had a fireplace. When request wood or to turn it on. Hotel staff wanted $20 in cash or to have guest bring their own wood. Hotel in Big Bear during Winter are expensive. However, we paid over $450 and the fact that they did not provide wood and wanted cash was not professional. The room heater work but only in one side of the room. There room had a kitchenette that was convenient. However, they did not provide dish soap and the kitchen sponge was not new. It was old and used. Parking was limited and hotel was full.

Thank you for taking time to review our Lodge. First of all you are lucky you got hotel room in big bear in busy long weekend and room has wood burning Fireplace but you need to buy wood so it's not free. So after you check out I went and check room at that time heater was working fine so it's was very warm in leaving room and bedroom as well. So we put dish soap & sponge in kitchen counter under the closet & was in good condition. So it's was busy long weekend but still we can manage for parking that's reason hotel full. So if you think it's too expensive for winter season then please you should come in slow season that rate is reasonable.

Our family was in Big Bear over the NY weekend. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean, comfy and cozy. We had a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake. I would stay here again in the future since the hotel is very close to everything.

Stayed in a Family Chalet room. It felt roomy and had a kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cups, plates, etc. it delivers a cabin experience, which my family enjoys. Many guests (including us) had dogs. Not a great value for what we paid, but then it was a holiday weekend.

Well placed to shopping and restaurants. Our room’s (#21) wall heater was a bit noisy. Aside from the normal metal expansion/ contracting of the heater, there was this lingering pinging noise that lasted thirty minutes or more. Staff apologized and assured it would be look into. Pool was closed for the season but looked very clean.

Room 31 review. Good stay overall.
The room was clean & tidy overall we had a good stay the room had minor issues like low shower water pressure but I'm Shure that is the case with the majority of hotels. The towel shelf in front of the sink didn't fit well and was generally in the way, they should put a regular sink vanity with storage shelfs or drawers in it instead of a pedestal sink. The in room refrigerator was making faint sounds that kind of wakes you up in the night.

Very nice place. We got a chalet, very comfy and all supplies available to cook! Convenient parking and location.

The coffee machine wasn’t working properly. When I turned on the shower the water sprayed all over the ceiling and the shower head wasn’t screwed on correctly and it came off.

Scalding hot water
The hot water was scalding and burnt my child, and my hands also. Needs to be addressed asap... water temp should never be set over 125°F at the water heater. Otherwise the stay was ok.
