I Keep Coming Back
Love the layout of the rooms here. I'm a traveler who needs the fridge and microwave. Check. It's here. But was surprised to not find a coffee maker. Not sure if there's an ice maker on premises, either. Best to have a smaller vehicle and back into the angled parking space if you're lucky enough to park off street.

Old place but adequate.
The place is very old but has been upgraded a few times. It was ok. for a one night stay. The beds were comfy. Not much room. Tv was difficult to decipher without a guide. We had difficulties making the room key work. For a one night stay it was just fine.

I've never stayed in a non-chain hotel prior to this stay and I was Very disappointed. Check-In was easy, receptionist very friendly but it was all downhill after that. Room was extremely outdated, hasn't seen upgrades in years, maybe a decade or longer. There was only one 2 device wall plug-in receptacle in between the 2 beds and the wall lamp was using one plug-in, so you only get one plugin within 20 feet of your bed. Carpet was old, grungy, stained, needing a serious shampooing, but need replaced. Room needs to be remodeled and upgraded to justify the cost of these rooms.

It is a budget-based room
The room was poorly lit. The parking spaces are so small that full size cars and trucks parked side by side allow barely enough room to enter and exit the vehicles. Since it is courtyard parking there is nothing they can do about that. The bathroom appeared clean but smelled heavily of mildew. The window latch appears to be broken, so I blocked the sliding track of the window with a couple of small drink bottles. Overall condition of the room appears worn. Kudos to the housekeeper who diligently cleaned the room daily, making the bed, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning the sink and bathroom. However, I found the bathroom’s mildew smell overpowering despite the strong smell of cleaners every time I entered the room, necessitating leaving the door open frequently. Perhaps the shower curtain needed laundering. The desk clerk was kind and accommodating, making coffee every morning at 7, except Sunday morning when no one was in the office when I tried to check out at 7 am on Sunday. The location is good. Given the price, it is what it is. I would stay there again if no other hotels were available at the price.

Very nice newly remodeled room, great value!
Very nice room, newly remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Great Price. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Loved the great historical buildings just across the street and the many historical notes along Yellowstone Street. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Easy to find just the right place to eat to suit our tastes. Obviously a tourist town but still had a warm community feel to it. Felt safe here. Nice place to spend the evening after a long day in Yellowstone Park.

Cheap, probably got the value for the cost, but the cost way too high for what it was, but cheap for the area I guess. No phone, no radio/alarm/clock, no coffee. Service was just emptying the trash and leaving clean towels - that's it. Somewhat clean - just an old hotel; parking way too crowded, leading to car door dings; overall a bed and hot shower water.

The customer service was very good. The condition of the room was not good. Although the bathroom and bedding was clean, the furniture was extremely old and the chairs in the room looked like someone had an accident on them. The ceiling had black mold spots. Our room was not safe as there was absolutely NO fire/smoke detectors in the room. I felt safe on the property but not in the room. Price was about right for the dilapidated condition of the room. My advice to the owner, spend a little bit of money on updates and it would have been a nice place for a last minute check in. If we hadn’t been on the road for over 12 hours we would’ve left immediately and asked for a refund.

Out of the three nights we stayed, two of those nights the TV wasn’t working and by the time they sent someone it was time to go to sleep. Also, it advertised that there would be free Wi-Fi and our section did not get any Wi-Fi whatsoever.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There were flies all over, probably 15 in our room, mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom and my feet were black from walking across the floor. It was disgustingly so dirty and gross we ended up leaving and staying at a different motel.

Worst value in awhile
$250USD a night and no coffee maker in room or mini fridge. Not even a bedside table lamp. The internet did not work either. It is down the street from the park entrance though and was clean and safe. The staff were friendly too.
