Within walking distance to bhx terminal so you can return your car the day before and easily walk from car rental to the hotel. Very lively bar and restaurant. Room was spacious, appreciated having a couch! Staff very friendly

Hugely overpriced for what is, in effect, a lower-standard Motel One. Terrible service in the bar/restaurant, insufficient staff overwhelmed by numbers, I ended up going to the terminal to eat

The hotel really took into consideration about young children, had activities and a few toys in restaurant, every member of staff was amazing with the children, also we stayed in a lovely spacious family room The was a lot of choice for breakfast which was great for the children and adults too

I had a wonderful stay with my colleagues at your hotel and would like to share my positive experience. Firstly, Paulina(Hope I spelt her name correctly) at the reception was incredibly helpful and resulted problems for us. Secondly, the hotel's convenient location within walking distance of NEC was a major plus . Lastly, the fact that the restaurant remains open until 9:30 pm was not only convenient but also allowed us to enjoy delicious meals at our convenience. Overall, the excellent service and amenities made my stay truly enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a pleasant experience!

Great stay. We’ve actually stayed in the exact same room 2 years on the trot. Comfortable rooms, Great staff, good food in the restaurant - was just what we needed

No heating in room 1 degree outside therefore unacceptable

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback. Wish you would notify reception so we could have either move you to another room or provide you with a electric heater. I would like to assure you that we regularly check the heating in our hotel to make sure it is working especially on cold days. Each room has a radiator on the wall, in case there is an issue with the radiator we do have electric heaters available.

Convenient for NEC
Booked in to stay for an event with friends at NEC. Check in was smooth and staff extremely friendly. Room was incredibly spacious - booked a family room and had pre-requested a twin bed configuration outside of the sofa bed, which was done easily. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options and the hotel was relatively quiet. Only niggle was the shower was a bit anaemic in output and pressure and needed maintenance. Have stayed here many times over the years, and would certainly stay again.

Final option sure!
Overall the experience was bland and lacking. The double bed was two singles that separate if you sleep snuggled. The pull out bed for my daughter was nothing but springs. The TV was attached to the wall in such a way that you either pull it out and face the main bed so the back and cables face the sleeping bed or vice versa. There was not enough space to move the sleeper bed. The breakfast fruit bowl was all unripe fruit and was still hard. We rather left a night early to go home, so done the 2 hr drive than stay another night.

Great rooms, food quality needs improvement.
The greeting was great, room was on par with anything else at this price but the food was terrible. The cod & chips meal was all batter and the chips tasted like cardboard. That was a waste of money and very poor dining experience.

Room was very good and very clean, would've liked more coffee and milk in the room but when asked at reception I was given more. Bathroom and shower were very good and amazing clean. Was told on website one price for a breakfast per person but when at the hotel was told two different prices for two different style breakfasts, the staff that were there for the breakfast shift didnt help to explain it properly either which is quite sad as they didnt seem to care much about it too. Overall it was a good stay but not looking to come back anytime soon which is unfortunate.

Potential is good, actuality is the worst.
Queue at the bar to order food, find it cannot be ordered without a table number, go back to find a table. Order a Guiness, get a can from from the 'fridge. No Orange Juice for breakfast, often ran out of bacon or sausage. Ordered a 'Summer Salad' with a chicken breast, delivered on a piping hot plate with lukewarm chicken on the hot salad. Return after a long day, go up to floor three to the room to find the key card not working. Carry all the equipment back down (cannot leave it unattended) and find that I should have been told to re-initialise the key on my return.

Great hotel for business
Felt welcome in this hotel. It is definitely a very business oriented kind of place, ideal for the NEC or for catching an early morning flight from the Birmingham airport. You can dine onsite, which is good as I did not see anything available at a walking distance. Parking is paid, even for guests, which makes sense when there is an exhibition but doesn't when there's not, in my opinion

A great base for staying near the NEC
The hotel was very conveniently placed for the NEC. The reception staff were very helpful and the room was cleaned well each day. I slept like a log each night, I found the bed very comfortable.

Hotel clean, staff very helpful, very good restaurant menu and very reasonably priced. Comfortable bed, and a good breakfast with plenty of choices. Within less than 10 min walk to the NEC. All in all a good stay. Will stay here again. Thank you.
