The reception was nasty and did no even give me time to talk. First the microwave was not working right. I called to explain but they told me that I can come down to heat up my food. When I got down. The reception started my asking me. What did I do to the microwave. I keep trying to explain my self. But he did not give me time.

The property was clean even though the blanket on the bed had a couple stains, we bring our own when we travel so this didn't bother us too much. The person who checked me in was nice but when I called the front desk the next day the younger gentleman was rude when I asked how to get the TV off Spanish fortunately with out there help I fixed the problem myself. Breakfast was ok Saturday but non existent Sunday.

Be aware of $100 deposit for "damage to room", mold under soap tray in shower/bathtub (wouldn't notice unless one took a bath), floor not clean in front of refrig ( several spills from someone else), fruit flies in room, ice bucket had peanut butter (?) and attracted bugs. Breakfast doesnt include eggs and bacon just cereal, waffles, yogurt, bagles/toast, juice and coffee. If coming off of I-65, not worth the extra 10 miles. Price was reasonable for a king sized bed.

The beds were very comfortable but the deposit was ridiculous and I found a roach in my room. The outlets by the bed didn’t all work and there was a weird smell. The reservation set up is not the best. We had to do a new reservation and was told we had to pay for another deposit for the same room.

The first room they offered smelled like an ashtray. The second room we took was almost as bad but we took it because we were tired. There was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door. There was someone else’s hair in the shower. The shower doesn’t get hot. There were cigarette or blunt burns on the bed spread. The air conditioner was off when we arrived so it was hot. The remote was taped together but it didn’t matter because it doesn’t work anyway.

There was nothing we liked about the hotel. The staff was very rude and told us not to destroy his hotel room which was old and dirty. He took a $100 deposit from us and was offended I asked for a receipt. He argued with my elderly mother when she told him that his comments were uncalled for. He wanted to cancel the booking at 11:00pm and told us to go elsewhere we pre-booked for 3 nights and paid in full online. The room was old and dirty, the towels were yellowish and not clean. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were dirty. There was a used tea bag left in the coffee/tea machine. I used one pack of disinfectants to clean the room. There was no security chain on the door it was broken off and the door opened to the outside, I had to use the old chair which was peeling off to jam the door handle to feel safe. Coffee was stale and old, the bagel was stale and hard. We stayed 1 night and checked out. I would not recommend that hotel it wasn't up to par for the price.

The facility was old, the service average given the rate was high because of a local event that weekend. Had I not been going to the Barber Motorsport park that weekend I would not have expected to pay $199.00 a night for the room.

Stay at your own risk!
Not a pleasant stay. Front desk clerk was nice, but not at all concerned about my room not having functioning air conditioning. My room was hot and muggy and I was not able to sleep the entire night. I went down to the front desk, and the clerk, nonchalantly said, sorry. Shrugged his shoulders and told me nothing he could do. I asked for a different room, but refused. He claimed the hotel was booked solid. Meanwhile, it was midnight, plenty of parking spots open, and I walked around the property where there was visibly plenty of rooms available. My frustration is that I believe he refused to give me a different room, so that he didn’t have to clean my original room. I believe prior guests refused my room prior to my arrival because my room lights were on, the bathroom was not clean, and the AC was on full blast blowing hot air. All the rooms that appeared to be available, had all the lights turned off, and the AC units were NOT on. Although the front clerk was nice, I wholeheartedly believe he was not honest with me, showed no remorse or empathy for my situation. Needless to say it was a hot sleepless night. Unfortunately because of my poor experience, I would hope to receive a refund, even though the clerk said there was nothing he could do. Also, I would never recommend this hotel to future guests.

The hotel cancelled the the reservations. It was a lack of communication. The desk clerk could not speak English well enough for me to understand him.

Despite the property being listed with a pool as an amenity (which is why we chose this hotel being we are in the middle of a heat wave in Alabama), we discovered the pool was closed upon arrival. Neel Patel stated the pool has been closed since "the COVID". He also stated it was Expedia's fault for not updating as they have reached out to Expedia regarding the pool's permanent closure. He refused to refund the reservation stating it was nonrefundable. A refund would not have been requested had the amenities promised in the booking been available. The reservation was made under false pretenses during to false information provided in the listing. Quality Inn as well as Expedia will not receive any further business from this family.

The room was terrible, I couldn’t get the shower to work. Staff was nonchalant and not helpful. Worst stay I have ever had in a motel.

Leaky ceiling
Room was not clean when we checked in. Hairs in bed and on bathroom floor. Second night ceiling in bathroom leaked for 3 hours over the tolilet (Room 143). There was an old hole in the ceiling I noticed when we checked in so it was an existing problem. Was told someone was doing laundry on the second floor. They offered to move us to a room on the second floor but it was around midnight and dad is 90 years old and already in the bed. I mopped up water best I could for 3 hours and used the 5 gallon bucket they gave me to try and catch the water. In the middle of cleaning up water I was greeted by a big cockroach. I did ask for some kind of discount when checking out but it was denied.

Absolutely AWFUL!!! And especially NOT for that price! I booked 6 rooms (for work) and all of them were HORRIBLE. Roaches in all the first floor rooms, the door panel was broken on two rooms so we had to have the office open them with a key EVERY time we needed in, the bathroom door handle was broken in one room so if it shut it would lock you in/out of the bathroom, 5 of the rooms had problems with the shower either not draining or hardly a dribble coming out, every room had stains and cigarette burns on "clean" sheets and all the counters looked like they hadn't been wiped down (coffee rings, misc. spots, hair...), and the walls looked like animals had been living in there with all the dirt, stains, and holes. I spend a lot of nights in a hotel room, and this BY FAR, is THE WORST!!!!!
