I requested a room on 1st floor upon arrival but Man would not oblige me though the hotel was NOT full I had to make numerous trips back n forth!. I often wonder why we CHK in after 3 but must vacate before 11. It isn't fair- the full price over a 18 hour stay!! I'm never happy when motels are owned by foreigners; they're greedy & will not honor property updating.

The place was adequate. It was remodeled some time ago, and although it is pretty clean, it looks it. The first room we checked into, supposedly non-smoking, smelled of smoke. The second room was better. There is no carpet on the floors which I think is a good thing. It is easier to keep it clean. The back of the building is theoretically the "quiet side" but the interstate runs behind it and is pretty noisy.

The room is ok but is old even though the marque at the motel says newly remodeled rooms. I’d say they kept old furniture and put down flooring that’s coming up and painted. Anyway clean and really great housekeeping but oldish rooms. Lobby sucks with only regular coffee available. Washer and ice machine out of order. I was lucky to be on third floor so motel noise reduced but train could be heard.

It's located near the highway so you can hear the traffic. Room needs updating. Faucet was loose, lots of dings on the wall and didn't offer breakfast or snacks.

The cleanest and most updated Red Roof I've stayed in yet. My only complaint was the shower head. They obviously have very hard water in Birmingham. The hotel mgmt should clean the shower heads so they function properly and don't waste water.

This hotel is perfectly adequate for sleeping but is a couple of steps below what you might expect. Vinyl floor in the room rather than carpet, small fridge froze my milk and there was no knob to adjust, that sort of thing. Nothing terrible. Nothing great. Adequate.
