Great marks for frindly and clean. HVAC and bed awful
Very clean, friendly and efficient service. But the memory foam mattress was hot and the HVAC was awful. Made for a lousy nights sleep.

There are things to like about this property. Great location, for one. The room seemed clean, but had a persistent unpleasant odor that was always present. My wife thought it was the "deodorizer" they use. To me it smelled a bit like dead fish. The place was sold out so requesting a move wasn't possible.

The staff is always excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and they have everything you need for a longer stay. No breakfast or restaurant, but you have a full size fridge to get your own breakfast items, and there is always free coffee and water in the lobby, as well as coffee in the room and some food items for purchase in the lobby’s pantry. Low pet fee, and has a dedicated area for walking pets. Good patio area also. I lived in this hotel for three months and still return, so that says a lot I think.

Overall, the hotel is clean, the services are great. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast service and no shuttle to the airport. However, the manager arranged for transportation for me.

Very nice rooms and facility. Super close to many restaurants and shopping centers. Check-in was very easy, quick and overall stay was very pleasing.

I just didn't work!
I reserved a room with 2 double beds and received only bed and I believe they gave us that one because of the cheaper room rate we paid. The thermostat in the room did not work we had to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the window unit. The remote control did not shut off the tv - we had to get up to unplug it from the wall.

Prompt and professional!
Due to covid protocols we needed to contact the front desk for sofa bed sheets and pillows. We had to go down to pick up the sheets, but the overnight desk person had to bring us the pillows. She provided them promptly and professionally!

The bathroom was probably the best one I have ever seen in a hotel. The bathroom door was probably a 3’ door. It swung into an interior wall allowing full access to the sink, toilet and shower if you were in a wheelchair. It was spacious enough to have room to towel off after a shower.

The type of hotel is very convenient when staying more than one night. Clean room and very nice staff. The food provided for purchase was great too! Nice location when visiting my student at ISU.

I had requested a handicapped accessible room. I made the request by telephone at the time I made the reservation and I again asked upon arrival. I was told that the room was handicapped accessible. It was NOT! There was one grab bar by the shower, there was not room for a wheelchair in the bathroom. If I had not been there to assist my wife the room would not have worked. I felt like my request was ignored and that I was deceived. They had also requested breakfast. Their idea of breakfast was apples and oranges in the refrigerator and coffee. Not at all what I expected. No cleaning service during our stay of 3 days. I will say the room was clean and neat upon our arrival. I will not be staying there again.

The hotel was very clean. The check in was easy and staff was very friendly. The only negative was our mattress sagged a bit towards the center.

The property is relatively small at only 4 levels. The front desk attendant was friendly and professional. The lobby offered complimentary pre-packaged cookies and hot chocolate packets for guests. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because of the kitchenette. It offered basic cookware, a toaster and utensils except for spoons which I thought was strange. The full sized fridge and dishwasher were great and it had an ice maker in the freezer. The hotel has a Lending Locker to borrow other appliances and board games. Parking lot was packed snow and had not been plowed which was disappointing. I would expect the lot to be plowed being that it is February in IL.
