I think it is a very good option to stay in Bloomington. It is close to IU and for the price is an excellent alternative.

It was super close to everything in the city center and the town square is a lively place to be. Lots of restaurants and some shops nearby. We could even walk to a grocery store to pick up a few items! It was very clean and quiet- no complaints. The beds were great too.

We stayed 1 night. We enjoyed our stay! I only have 1 complaint. Our room was right next to a laundry area and the wash machine sounded like it was going to come through the connecting wall. Other than that our stay was short and sweet. Everyone was very nice and helpful!!

Great staff,your greeted as you walk in and feel at home. Staff went the extra mile and allowed my son to practice for his Tuba Audition. Two thumbs up to this location.

Everything was great. Nice sized room, clean, and comfortable beds. Only one suggestion, on a cold day, the hot tub was just warm, not hot!

Came just to swim and use the hot tub. Had a great time! Hot tubs jets aren’t really working but everything else was great.

Seemed to not have many employees to ask for help . They charged 10.00 to park in a asphalt lot next to hotel ungated no cover . Elevators are nosiy . Charge for coffee in the lobby. Only breakfast was alacart . Only seen 2 employees. Felt weird.

Hi Daniel,Yes, as most downtown hotels, we do charge for parking. We are currently the lowest priced parking in Bloomington, compared to 16.50 at another hotel. Yes, we have our in house Bistro so our location doesn't have a free breakfast and free coffee. This can be found on your website as well as Marriott Bonvoy App and the Expedia site, I am sorry this was missed while you were booking.

Rooms are tired and in need of a refresh. The Euro style bathroom faucets were horrible. No free breakfast and they charge you for parking.

I agree and we are working on getting a remodel in the future. As far as breakfast Marriott will not allow us to have a free breakfast and the parking is due to increased fees by the city that we lease the lot off of.

Nice Hotel - But Shady Managers
I arrived at the Courtyard on Tuesday, September 19th for my stay. After I checked in, I proceeded to my room and I noticed the room was a double queen bed, which I didn't select when I paid for the room. I chose the king bed because I didn't need two beds. I told the front desk clerk a male with dark hair and glasses, that this was different from the room I paid for, and I showed him the room details on the Hotels.Com app. I asked what happened and he left the desk and proceeded to talk to the manager in the back office (I never actually saw the manager, but that is what he told me) and when he returned he stated, "The manager said we overbooked the rooms, which is why you were given a double queen room." I asked him how would I be compensated for the room change and he told me to reach out to Hotels.Com and have them contact the Courtyard. Well, I headed back to the room and called Hotels.com, where I informed them of the situation and Hotels.com called the Courtyard, and after speaking with them the Courtyard manager told Hotels.com the double queen room and king room were the same prices, and that I wouldn't receive a price difference. I then told Hotels.com that the prices were different, which is why I decided to pay more for the king room because I didn't need a double queen room. Hotels.com stated this is what Courtyard said and that there was nothing they could do. I was upset because why would the manager lie about the price differences? Shame on them

Clean, friendly staff, loud from outside noise
The hotel, including parking lot and grounds, were very well maintained and clean, the room was clean and visually pleasing. The staff were all very friendly. However, the hotel is near a railroad, and with trains, sirens.the trash truck coming in the wee hours of the morning, and being able to hear the man above me peeing at 3 AM, I got little sleep.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Surely recommedable. Just that at prevailing tariff, housekeeping should be done on a daily basis. Another member is required in the breakfast area to cater during rush hours.
