블루마운틴 여행지
블루마운틴 여행을 위해 예약했던 모터인 인데요. 주인 할아버지가 친절히 블루마운틴 여행경로를 설명해주시고, 지도책자 까지 주셔서 정말 잘 다녀 왔었습니다. 카툼바 마을 까지 조금 멀어서 아쉬웠지만 차로는 금방이니까요, 불편하지는 않았습니다.

The pros are that the room was very clean and that the location is convenient. The cons are that the room was quite noisy (traffic on the road which is close and an automotive repair shop is located directly in front of the motel), and the pool could have been cleaner.

This property offers the basics and gets the job done. Not ideal if you do not have a car. A great location for people doing bushwalks in the area.

Price reflects the real value. For me, bed and linen was not comfortable. If you’re sensitive to cheap bedsheets, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

There is something about motor inns where there’s a community of guests and not just a collection of guests. We stayed 3 nights in Katoomba and had the most wonderful time chatting with other guests by the pool and exchanging tips on what to see and do. It was perfect for us.

Very Good with Minor Flaws
The property is perfectly located as a base from which to explore the stunning Blue Mountains. It isn't within easy walking distance of the main drag with its busy shops and eateries, but close enough not to be inconvenient. Check-in and out was easy but for the absence of American Express acceptance. The rooms are comfortable with good lighting, aircon, fridge and microwave. There is a clean modern bathroom. The beverage station is well stocked and includes crockery and cutlery for food. There is also a communal BBQ. Rooms are serviced daily. Flaws include insufficient bathroom supplies - toilet paper, soap, shampoo and no conditioner. The fridge is small and had no ice tray. The television is outdated, has limited channels (excludes the ABC, and does not offer ant streaming capability. With several days of heavy rain, an additional form of entertainment would have been appreciated. There was no washing up liquid or scourers to clean the used crockery and cutlery. The bathroom basin was not appropriate for washing up either. Despite the minor flaws, the Sky Rider offers good value.

Room is clean with simple furniture and with all amenities you may need. The hotel is very close to the blue mountain scenic world approximately 5 mins drive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Various restaurants available at Katoomba town area with delicious food. Highly recommended as it was pleasure to stay here.

Old Motel in Great Location
Excellent service with easy late check-in. Great location close to Three Sisters and other sights in Blue Mountains. Otherwise an old motel with a terribly smelly AC unit. Few power outlets.

Clean room and quiet area. I found the bed quite hard. I booked this motel because it has a pool, (staying with kids ) but the pool area was unkept and the water was murky .

Stayed 2 nights mid week. No hot water after 1 shower first morning. Air cond struggled to warm room. Electric blankets not plugged-in, so had to get on hands and knees to fix. Rooms are generally run down. Not properly clean. Very dirty around bathroom window. Poor lighting and no heating in bathroom. Towels were like rags for washing the dog. A very long walk to Katoomba CBD. In room compendium way out of date.

It was positioned so no traffic noise, check out was not till 10am but had someone knocking on our door just before 9am to clean. Room was ok but would not like to stay more than a night or 2 to be comfortable.
