Good located in the city, near to the beach and also to all the shops and restaurants. Nice hotel with a good breakfast and very nice staff. Recommended for a stay in Bodrum!

The complimentary breakfast was perfect. The staff was very nice and accommodating. While the beach isnt attached to the hotel, you can walk to their sister hotel to access the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Schmutzige Fettige Handtücher, die Dame von Zimmerservice war okay. Sehr laute gegend und sehr viele Zuwanderer in der gegend die nicht integriert ist.Zweibettzimmer hat keine Fenster mann Bekommt Platzangst 😩 Eine Zimmer hat keine Safe, andere hat keine wasserkocher. In dem Zimmern sind nur eine Steckdose. Waschbecken und WC wwr verstopft wollten sie uns keine neue Zimmer geben. Der Besitzer ist dehr geizig kadsiert sogar für das Wasser 10 fach teuerer.

Amazing location!! The price were the best of we could find. It is not Luxury as we supposed to imagine, but brings good quality in most of the services. I will be back for sure!

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts was delicious. The location is perfect. Close to the ocean, restaurants and shops. Available parking a couple of blocks away.

Disappointed
Hotel location was good, close to beach shops and bars but would definitely be very noisy in high season. It also has a children's play area infront and a school next to it. The first room we were allocated was dirty, the patio windows were difficult to open and then wouldn't close properly and were very dirty. The table and chairs on the balcony were not clean and actually looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The fridge was leaking and had the previous occupiers half empty water bottle in it! We complained and was moved to another room on the floor above The patio doors opened and closed in this room but the table and chairs on the balcony were as dirty as the ones in the previous room. The fridge was ok in this room. There was no electric socket to boil the kettle on the desk where it was situated so had to put it on the floor by the side of the bed. The shower cubicle was very dirty around the drain hole and along the shower doors. The whole place needs redecorating and a good clean. The breakfast was a good choice Turkish buffet but the downside was all of the sliding windows were open so it was cold and so breakfast wasn't a relaxing start to the day as the Winter sun wasn't on that part of the building until later. Bodrum is lovely but wouldn't to back to this hotel again The directions we followed from Hotels.com booking page actually sent us to the wrong Akkan Hotel. There is more than one Akkan....and the name is very deceiving as luxury it isn't

Lovely Hotel
This hotel is centrally located. The hotel is clean and the sea view room was excellent. The bustling of the shopping street and bars can be heard into the late hours/early hours of the morning, so if you don't mind the noise I would recommend this hotel. There is no elevator but the staff are helpful and friendly always willing to assist. The breakfast is a typical Turkish breakfast with limited option, but there are loads of restaurants to choose from if you want something different. I had a wonderful 3 night stay.

Not a LUXURY Hotel..
On our arrival we confirmed our Hotels.com reservation, our booking at the Akkan Luxury Hotel was for a ground floor double room with "separate seating area", after check-in we were taken up 3 flights of stairs to our room that was approx 10ft square that included the double bed, the bathroom was about 5ft.square that included the shower, toilet and sink, figure it out for yourself.. The next mo I complained to the manager showing him our Hotels.com confirmation and he said that the room we were in was an upgrade, I laughed and asked him if he was joking.. I requested to see the room we had booked which was on the second floor, there are No ground floor rooms, also none of the rooms have "separate seating areas".. This Hotel needs to remove the word "LUXURY" from its title, this is our fourth visit to Bodrum and we have also stayed at the Akkan sister hotels, the Akkan Plus and Akkan Beach, both hotels far superior to the Akkan LUXURY Hotel..

Good hotel
If you want to be close to the Bodrum city centre this is the hotel to stay. They have amazing hospitality and good breakfast. I will continue coming back.

Einfach schrecklich - Eine Zumutung!
Es war der schrecklichste Hotelaufenthalt den wir je hatten! Das Zimmer, das wir bekamen, war direkt neben der Küche und unmittelbar neben der Rezeption. Somit hatten wir kein bisschen Privatsphäre und mussten uns alles, was in der Küche geschah mitanhören - geschweige denn riechen! Zudem haben wir direkt bemerkt, dass unsere Zimmertür defekt war, d.h.wiir konnten sie von innen und außen nicht verriegeln. Als wir der Rezeption Bescheid gaben, sagte diese nur: "Ich verischere Ihnen, dass niemand reinkommen wird. Ich erreiche meinen Chef leider nicht." Daraufhin haben wir viel Druck ausgeübt, bis dann plötzlich der Chef doch zu erreichen war und das Schloss austauschte. Darüber hinaus waren alle Möbelstücke des Zimmers ranzig und schmandig. Selbst die Bettwäsche stank nach Zigaretten, obwohl sie unmittelbar nach unserer Ankunft vor unseren Augen bezogen wurde. Das Frühstück war ebenso eine reine Katastrophe. Man wartete eine halbe Stunde auf seinen Tee und bekam den trotzdem nicht und musste schlussendlich selber zur Theke. Die Auswahl war sehr gering und knapp. Wenn man etwas später gefrühstückt hat, ging man leer aus. Ich könnte noch viel mehr erzählen, allerdings wäre es dann gefühlt ein Roman. Also kurz und knapp: Finger weg, wenn ihr keinen katastrophalen Urlaub haben wollt!
