This was the 4th year we have stayed at Eden Beach. We enjoy the resort, the location and the snorkeling on the shore is fabulous. However, we are 75 & 71 years old and getting into the water from the rocky shore is getting more difficult every year. We are truly hoping the pier will be fixed before next winter when we plan to stay on Bonaire again.

They didn't have enough staff to man the restaurant for an evening meal. The only thing on offer was a bar snack menu. The pool was used as diving training area. We left after one night but we're unable to obtain any refund.

I missed a coffee maker or a kettle for warm water in the room. I do not have to have breakfast, but coffee is a must! You have to make e reservation for eating; limited options. The room was clean, bed slept well. Room service every day contrary to what the information was given, every 2 days.

Nice first visit to Bonaire
We came in late and the manager made us some sandwiches which was very much appreciated. The bar staff was very accommodating and the housekeeping staff in our room was stellar. The only concerns would be the lack of guest parking and the common areas were in need of some repairs. The room we stayed in was kept clean but lacked basic amenities such as a refrigerator and shelving in the shower area. Overall a decent place to stay with the employees being better then the condition of the resort.

Very difficult to reach when planning trip. Did not return phone calls or emails. After hours check in only available due to talking with bartender who found check in person. Parking very limited now or unavailable some night time hours due to crowd at bar so guests coming back from diving or dinner need to park across street and walk about 2 blocks to room.

Redelijk goed hotel
Het Resort ligt prachtig aan zee. Met koraal en heel veel verschillende vissen. Er zijn ruim voldoende strandbedden, maar beperkt aantal met schaduw. Vanaf de steiger bij het hotel vertrekt de boot naar Klein Bonaire. Het resort wordt ook bezocht door dag gasten van de cruise schepen. De kamers zijn eenvoudig en robuust ingericht. De airco is goed. Het ontbijt is redelijk. Keuze is beperkt en weinig verse producten. Te duur voor wat je krijgt. Het personeel bij de receptie is laks en service is ver te zoeken. Met meer aandacht voor de gasten zou het hotel veel beter scoren!

The property itself is nice. Right on the beach with a beautiful reef for diving and snorkeling. It’s a healthy but pleasant and safe walk to town. The rooms are adequate. Our room was missing its smoke detector and the lighting was dark. Customer service was maybe 3 star. The manager on-site was friendly when we saw her. Check-in took 20 mins until someone finally came into the office - and then was disorganized, much like checkout. Beyond that, staff were either indifferent to us, refused requests, or at times seemingly hostile to our presence. It was a holiday weekend and they appeared to be running with all new staff, so maybe it will improve over time. We loved the island, and service elsewhere was good.

This property leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms themselves are pretty bare bones, though the beds were comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. I had to ask multiple times over multiple days to get a second bath towel in the room so my husband and I didn't have to share the single towel that was there upon arrival. Of the 6 nights we stayed, our room was only cleaned for 3 of those days, which is problematic in a small room with no ventilation. Service around the resort is lacking in general. Food at the bar was extremely overpriced, even for the island, and was very much lacking in quality. We did the expensive breakfast at the hotel one morning and it was a total cluster....took us an hour to get food even though it was a buffet. The waterview rooms only have a peek-a-boo view of the water from the balcony. We upgraded to a suite with a kitchen, but there wasn't a microwave and the kitchen is poorly stocked (think 1 cereal bowl total). Although there was a coffee maker in our room (because we had a kitchen, our friends staying in the standard room did not have a coffee maker or mini fridge), there is no coffee/filters/etc for it or even dish detergent to wash up our one bowl.

Laat ik positief beginnen. De locatie, de bar, het strandje en het personeel zijn prima. Echter is het hotel vergane glorie. In eerste instantie hadden wij een standaard kamer. Dit was een kamer aan de achterkant van het complex. Deze kamer had geen afzuiging in de badkamer, wat erg onprettig is bij het douchen. Tijdens dag 2 zijn we van kamer gewisseld en naar een studio gegaan wat aan het strand gelegen was. Dit was een hele verbetering. De studio had een eigen keukentje, echter zonder afzuigkap. Ook beschikte de studio over een eigen terras, wat ook heerlijk was. Bij het ontbijt hebben we een kijkje genomen en meteen rechtsomkeert gemaakt. We waren blij dat we dit niet erbij geboekt hebben want voor 18 dollar is dat een echte aanfluiting. Je merkt dat de hoofd inkomsten bron de bar is. Hier is duidelijk in geïnvesteerd ten koste van het hotel. Ook het strand wordt hoofdzakelijk bevolkt door gasten van buiten het hotel. Hierdoor is het ook niet mogelijk om drankjes op je rekening te zetten en zal je dus altijd je portemonnee mee moeten nemen en dus op moeten letten als je het water in gaat. Ook zijn er bepaalde avonden dat je pas erg laat kan gaan slapen aangezien er dan een feest wordt gegeven en de muziek erg hard over het complex gaat. Erg gezellig, dat wel. Parkeren is in principe voor hotelgasten, maar als je in de middag terugkomt dan parkeer je 9 Van de 10 keer op een braakliggend bouwterrein aangezien de strandgasten er ook kunnen parkeren.

Sorry that the appearance of the breakfast was not up to your liking and I can assure that when you return some of there improvements will be visible. Lovely and relaxed setting on the Caribbean Sea next to beach with reef and a pool onsite. Small restaurant on premises. Site of ferry to Klein Bonaire which is a plus. Pleasant and friendly staff, basic but very nice king suite with balcony. Negatives are no gym on site and no W/D but overall wonderful.

Eden beach zit op een prachtige plek maar het is er een van vergane glorie. Alhoewel de mensen super aardig zijn is de service bij de bar of op het strand langzaam, schoonmaak van de kamers is zeer minimaal en pro activiteit om er een geweldige ervaring van te maken is ver te zoeken. De kamer die ik geboekt had was een superieur kamer was met een uitzicht op zee waar ook de prijs naar was. Helaas herkende ik dat niet terug in de kamer, als ik met een schuin oog over de parkeerplaats en de bouwplaats keek, zag ik in de verte de zee, de inrichting van kamer was minimaal en schoonmaak bestond uit het vervangen van de handdoek. Dus kortom nog veel werk aan de winkel om er iets moois van te maken waar zekers de plek potentie voor heeft maar nu nog niet te zien is.

Tolle Lage, direkt am Strand! Interessantes Schnorchelgebiet direkt am Strand, sehr viele verschieden farbige Fische und mit etwas Glück kann man auch Schildkröten begegnen. Sehr angenehm die Anlegestelle für das Wassertaxi nach Klein-Bonaire.

The entire place needs a thorough upgrade. Dirty beach chairs, taps falling apart, broken beach umbrellas. The staff are not friendly except for a few. The pool sitting area is made of wood. They are old planks, squeaky, with nails rotted all around some. We asked to lay for an upgrade and they said they were completely booked but I looked in the internet and would have been able to get a bigger room with balcony for an extra 20 a night. Every day bus loads of tourists came from the cruise ships to rent a beach chair for the day. Not cool. The place is a bit of a disaster. Owners clearly don’t care about you.

Ótimo hotel
Essa foi a quarta vez que nos hospedamos no Eden Beach Resort.. gostamos muito da atenção do pessoal da recepção, que atendeu nossa solicitação para nos trocar de quarto. O Quarto studio é espaçoso e contém todos os utensílios para preparar refeições. O que pode melhorar é a internet Wi-Fi, que não pegava bem no Quarto, mas nas áreas comuns funcionou bem. O mar na frente do Eden Beach continua maravilhoso, super transparente, uma verdadeira piscina. Espero poder retornar a Bonaire e ficar novamente no Eden Beach.
