We take all guest comments seriously and wish you had advised us immediately of your concerns during your stay. We only learned of your issues when we read your comments after you checked out. We were quite concerned. We thoroughly inspected the room you were in and found no traces of a mouse. We have our hotel on a regular pest control schedule, as required by brand standard, and we are happy to report that our hotel is pest free. Our housekeeping staff take great pride in ensuring our entire facility is clean. We also had our maintenance personnel inspect the air conditioner. The system is in order with no loud sound. As we are a Holiday Inn Express, our hotel does not have an in-house restaurant. We provide a complimentary express start breakfast each morning. We are centrally located so there are many eating establishments (ie. Smitty's, Boston Pizza, Humptys, Original Joes, A&W, Tim Hortons....) within minutes of our hotel. Some of these restaurants do provide take out. I hope you will give us another chance by staying with us again.

We use our best efforts to satisfy all guest reservations regardless of how they are booked. We appreciate every guest's business. Upon review of your reservation, the double queen deluxe room with 2 beds and a seating area was not available. As a result we upgraded your reservation to our family suite. This room also has 2 queen beds, one in a separate bedroom, and a spacious seating area with another pull-out couch. This is a much larger suite than the Deluxe room that you originally booked. This was a complimentary upgrade. The price that you booked through Expedia did not change. If you have further concerns regarding your reservation please do not hesitate to contact us. Otherwise, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again when your travels bring you back to Cold Lake.

When it is busy and our breakfast room is full we do open up our meeting space to accommodate additional guests. Guests are also welcome to take breakfast up to their room.
