Very nice overall
Very comfortable bed, mattress and linens. The restaurant and the overall service was also very good. The only not-so-great thing was that the bathroom was exceptionally tiny...and we are small people.

Perfect location, across the harbor from the commercial district but the footbridge to cross the harbor was virtually next door. Great nights on the deck with drinks and dessert. The room was well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

The location was perfect! Loved crossing the foot bridge to town. A magical place and truly a gem! Will be back.

Great spot to stay, will absolutely be back. Clean, comfortable and easily the nicest looking hotel in Boothbay. Trolley service was great as was the large deck overlooking the harbor/ proximity to the foot bridge. Only downside was the valet reserving all the open parking spots for dinner guests each night.

Booth bay Harbor Oceanside Golf resort is in a fabulous location with a beautiful deck for cocktails and dinner and lunch...the golf club is lovely although we did not use it. Jane at the concierge desk was very helpful in locating kayaks for us and communicating with us. the overall hotel is lovely although the door to our room stuck really badly and the door was really difficult to open...also i think the bathroom was really tight and smaller than it should be. The towel rack placement makes it difficult to open the bathroom door.

Like the property because it is on waterfront and has cost docks. Room did not have a view and no on-site pool that was operational.

I am glad that you liked our resort. We do have rooms with beautiful views of the water. Next time, please request a water-view room. Although, we do not have a pool, our guests may use the new, heated, outside, salt-water pool at the country club and we offer free transportaion. I appreicate your feedback. Please join us agian next season.

We do have rooms with a vew of the water. Next time you book, please request a room with a water-view. We do our best to accommodate all requests. Our guests have the use of the Wellness Center at the Country Club which includes a beautiful, outside, heated, salt-water pool and we include free transportaion to and from. Next time you stay with us, be sure to take advantage of all we offer at the resort and at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club.

If you’re going to stay in Boothbay Harbor you will love it here. Just a few steps from your room to a fantastic deck. Food and service Top notch. And if you play golf the Course is second to none

They are trying hard to upgrade the property from Motel status. The work done at the waterfront//dock/restaurant area is very upscale. The quality of the room renovation was very good. The cleanliness was amazing,especially seeing it was the seasons end. The bedding/linens were upscale. The biggest downside was the bathroom. Extremely small. The door would not open all the way because it hits the towel rack.(room 110) It appears the majority of the rooms have a parking lot view. Very nice but not quite upscale.

Over half of our rooms do have a water view. These rooms are very popular and fill up quickly. When making your next reservation, please stress that you would like a water view. Bathroom & sink areas were tiny and awkward to move around in. No shelf space around sink. Deadbolt lock was broken. Keurig machine in room was tucked into a cabinet whose door opened on the wrong side limiting access and light when trying to make coffee. (No complementary coffee in lobby) Mattress needs replacement. Gaps in blinds let bright outdoor light in all night. Not as expected for the price.

First time visiting Boothbay Harbor and certainly not the last! I’m so glad we chose to stay here. The view was stunning and the location couldn’t be better. The short walk to the foot bridge over the harbor was so convenient. The room was very comfortable and the amenities were nice. It was helpful to have multiple USB ports for chargers. We loved the terricloth bathrobes. The linens were fresh and towels were great too. However, there should be some other firmer pillow options, not just down feathers. We loved the mini bar & coffee maker, but would have liked a little more light in that area. With a dress code for dinner and the golf resort I was surprised there was no iron or luggage stands in the room. We felt the restaurant was a bit too upscale and out of place for the Boothbay vibe, but there were many other low key restaurants to choose from. Also, we were not impressed by the daily fee of $25 per guest to use the “wellness center“ at the golf resort. So we chose not to go. We did enjoy the outside deck and fire pit at night. All in all, we found this hotel to be very relaxing and of good value. We will definitely come back again.

Nice but needs an elevator!
This is a three-story motel that’s been remodeled to about a four-star hotel. The beds were wonderful the finishings in the room were beautiful. The bathroom door is extremely thin and everything inside the bathroom can be heard from the outside. The sink is extremely low sitting at about 30 inches above the ground which makes it awkward for someone who is much taller. The heat and air is awkwardly controlled running for about 3 to 4 minutes with the window unit shutting off and then restarting 20 minutes later. There are no elevators for this three-story building. You must be capable of climbing three stories of moderately steep stairs. The staff is willing to carry your suitcases up and down the stairs if you ask. The view is beautiful.

Thank you for submitting your comments. As much as we would like to install elevators, it would be a difficult process. Two of our building are over water, one building has only 3 rooms on the second floor, and the third has other issues. Our renovations are ongoing. Since we purchased the property a year and half ago, we have made many improvements. We are working on the heating and air conditioning this fall. Hopefully, the bathrooms will be next on our list. I have spoken to the staff about being more attentive to our guests needs. Please join us again next season.

Great location. The resort is located extremely close to the footbridge which allows access to the waterfront piers. We enjoyed cocktails after dinner at the resort which was lovely. They provided heating lamps as well as blankets making it comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

We had a great time here. Everyone was wonderful! The facility is very tastefully decorated with a waterfront view that just enhances the whole experience. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had breakfast in the dining room before leaving. My husband is still raving about the eggs benedict he had two days ago! We'll definitely go back!
