I booked to stay here for the Friday and Saturday night, it was described as a deluxe 4-star hotel in my agent's booking.
I was due to arrive in the morning of Saturday due to my flight arriving at midnight, so i booked for the Friday night also, so i would not have to wait till 2 pm on Saturday to check-in. I emailed the hotel to advise of my late arrival.
My flight was delayed and i arrived at the hotel at 5 am, there was no one on reception, i waited 20 minutes and then called the hotel, it appeared that everyone was sleeping behind the reception and they came to the desk. not a secure hotel as anyone could have walked in and they would not know.
The reception staff refused to book me in saying booking for Friday night had closed and that if i wanted to book in for Saturday now i had to pay extra . Despite showing my booking details and that i had already paid , insisting she called her manager, which she was engaged in a text conversation with, eventually she offered to book me in about a further 40 minutes, if I paid the 20 euro express booking in fee . Clearly, this was unacceptable as there was nothing professional or express about the service . after 2 hours of negation they eventually let me in the room at 7am
the room key would not lock, I was so tired, anyway, I woke up and reported the faulty lock, 3 times, the booking agent contacted the hotel managed who lied about the faulty lock saying i had not reported, this hotel was so bad I left
