L&C is a special place. The pool, sauna(eucalyptus) and all the snacks she presents throughout the day.

The only problem with this hotel is that you have to pay $20 per guest to join you in the hot tub/pool. We wanted to enjoy a half hour in the hot tub with our sons (who live in Bozeman) and had to pay an extra $40 for them. That's ridiculous. I know they're trying to cut back on kids poaching the pool but friends and family of guests staying at the hotel should be able to join their family!

The spacious, clean rooms. The attractive lobby and amenities (light breakfast, always coffee and tea and always a snack treat)! The spa/pool/gym area is the best !

Fabulous amenities and location
The rooms are pretty basic but the fitness room, pool and steam room are amazing. The location is also top notch.

I'm rating a 6 because of proximity to downtown and the steam room. However beds were hella soft and felt like I was being "watched" the whole time by staff. There are A LOT of rules and be prepared to get somewhat of a scolding if you do not obey. I was constantly asked how many people were in my room. Felt like I was staying in someone's personal home instead of a motel. Rooms were outdated but clean. The vibe of this hotel was strict.

Absolutely loved the spa amenities (60 foot swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, hot spa and gym facilities. The personal touches of sampling chocolates and treats, a different flavored water daily and the coffee and tea service. Just amazing. There was nothing to dislike!

Friendly staff in a totally unique motel. Best Hot Tub I have ever been in! I don't usually give reviews, but, this place is just too good to ignore.

This inn is compelling updated yet has a charming feel. We were so impressed and will definitely stay again. The pool and spa is incredible. Rooms are so comfortable!

The owner/general manager checked me in. We are driving from MI to WA with our 2 dogs. After 10 hours /day of driving, we look forward to stretching our legs and relaxing. I use a pet friendly filter when booking. The owner informed me that they are not necessarily pet friendly but there would not be availability anywhere else (busy summer weekend with back to college) and she accommodated us. Owner honored our booking rate even though new room we got was higher priced. Received individual tour of amenities at check in. Art showing in the lobby. Amenities of all kinds. Luxury pool and sauna space. Opened up our room to start the air conditioning. Loved the personal touch and very grateful that we can rest here before the last leg home! Highly recommend!

I thought front desk was very nice. Loved that we could park by our room. Rooms are quiet. Pool was amazing. I have never seen a pool nearly as nice as the one Lewis and Clark has. There is history there and I really enjoyed learning. Will definitely go back.?

If you find yourself in Bozeman the Lewis and Clark is a great place to use as a jumping off point for your visit. It is a wonderfully restored motel and very conveniently located near the downtown market area (downtown area is about 4 blocks away and very walkable). The staff were super friendly and helpful - we had arrived way before check-in time and since they had a room available they allowed us to go ahead and check-in early, which allowed us to really get a chance to enjoy our 1 day stay in Bozeman. The pool area was wonderfully maintained and there are a variety of additional amenities (whirlpool, sauna, dry sauna and small gym). Finally, the rooms were large, clean with very comfortable bedding. Overall excellent stay and a great find!

Great place. Pool area amazing. Super friendly staff. Quiet even though on busy street. A bit dated but who cares. A/C super consistent and quiet compared to most whites where it’s constantly turning off and on all night. Great walkable downtown location.

The pool was great the view was great. But please do not stay here if you want staff that is professional and cordial. Lisa the manager came barging up stairs speaking to us in such a way she was spitting when she was talking and talked to us like we were beneath her. All you have to do is ask your guest to please smoke the cigarettes all the way on the corner of the street where you push the button to cross. And that smoking on the balcony and in the parking lot was not allowed. She yelled stating there’s signs all over the building… there’s not there’s signs that say no smoking inside and we were outside on the balcony and in the car in the parking lot and neither was acceptable. A simple “hey just wanted to let you know no smoking up here” nope not even close totally looking for a fight all I responded with is yes ma’am and put out the cigarette

Loved everything about our stay: the room, the sign(!), the pool and spa, the breakfast—and most of all the pride Lisa and her staff have and take in providing for their guests. Definitely will return on our next stay in Bozeman!

We LOVED our stay at The Lewis and Clark Motel. Lisa is a magnificent host of this historic and unique property. Our teenagers loved the Spa area with high quality amenities. We enjoyed the coffee and hot tea bar, found a few must haves in the cute gift shop, and slept soundly in the comfortable beds. We enjoyed walking around as the Motel is in a great location. We can't wait to return!! The staff was so friendly and they even offered to ship a forgotten item to us. Truly the cherry on top of our fantastic trip to Montana! Thank you Lisa and staff!

Sadly, this motel is a dinosaur in the world of motel/hotels. Cracked plumbing fixtures, very poor lighting, having to tell this inn to clean your $300/night room daily. We noticed they have multiple new vehicles(4 at our count) but use the cheapest coffee and breakfast choices of any place we have stayed in over the last 15 days. They brag about their very old signage but forget to mention they have very limited modern amenities, plumbing and housekeeping.
