I booked this accommodation to save me 1.5hrs in the morning with driving to the airport. I booked this premise because it had 24hr check-in listed and was close to the airport. The check-in process is flawed - it requires you to keep a watch out for a link to lodge your ID online. It had not specified this when I booked that afternoon. As soon as I arrived I saw reception was closed I looked on my phone and found this email and did as requested, however, no code to access the premise was forthcoming. I then called a number on the front door and waited on hold for about 20mins as they were too busy. When I finally got through they explained they felt my photo had been blurry (it wasn't). I re-sent it and then eventually after a 30min delay I was in my room. This process is terribly inconvenient and misleading from the term 24-hr check-in. I don't think properties offering a service where they can get overloaded on the phones should be allowed on a Wotif service without specifying that will be the 24hr check-in process. I spoke to other guests and they agreed their check-in experience had been awful and delayed also.
Also, my iron was not working so I had to request another from that same phone line, and it took 30mins for a replacement to arrive at the room. Honestly, next time I'll just stay at home and do the commute to the airport.
