There was no desk or table to work at, which would have helped considerably as mine was a business trip. However it was quiet and served the rest of my needs. I was able to get a cooked breakfast nearby.

Hi I’m very sorry you didn’t find there were enough tables for you. There are a nest of two tables to use a laptop on which were perfectly measured to use whilst sat on the sofa there is also a table and 2 chairs which most of my guests using a lap top tend to use, both are right next to plug sockets too. Most of our guests are travelling on business so we try to cater for needs to the best of our ability by providing a space to work on. If these tables were not suitable we would be more than happy to provide an alternative table for you to work on.

Quiet and clean place.
Thanks DAVID/ Sandra for their hospitality. A very peaceful place. Also, a Very clean and tidy place. The restaurant Rose and crown 10 minuets walk is a very good place to have meal. Lovely food. Will recommend this place 👍

Pleasant stay in a nice villiage
we stayed in this self contained unit for 3 nights so that we had time to explore Bath and the surrounding area. It was clean and newly renovated. It was a lovely village and a quiet setting.The only issue we had was the space to unpack a little and the space was was small in the eating area. Also we would have preferred to have a few more items like a toaster.

Brilliant for a lone stay
The other reviews are very accurate. It was brilliant for me as I was on my own. If "she who must be obeyed" was with me we would be commenting on it being very tight to get into bed and it only being a 4ft6in bed. As I was on my own it was perfect.

A fantastic one night stay
A fantastic one night stay in this excellent accomodation. It was so good to be able to stay in B&B accomodation with a seperate living area to go with the excellent bedroom and shower room. There are good places to eat within a few minutes walk and the location is just fine. Welcoming, frinedly hosts and a great price. Highly recommended

Fab accommodation 10/10!
Lovely accommodation, very modern, fresh & clean. David was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. Would definately stay again and highly recommend Orchatd Cottage B +B ☺

Nice place to stay
Arrived at the Orchard Cottage in the evening had a pleasant greeting from the owners and the place far outweighed our expectation. The owners were friendly greeted us with Tea. David explained the details of the place where everything was. We had our owne self contained apartment with all you could wish for and more. a separate entry into the place so you could come and go without disturbing the owners. Felt secure in the place. It was all modern with all you require for a nice stay. Would certainly recommend this to anyone. Thank you.

Tasteful and very comfortable
We stayed at Orchard Cottage for two nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The owners were very helpful and friendly, so we had everything we needed and more. Orchard is not a room, but a small apartment. It´s tastefully decorated with all you could need from fridge to biscuits, from dvd´s to microwave. The bathroom is fresh, clean and modern. It´s just a 2 minute walk from a very nice pub that serves good food, and you might want to consider that as the Orchard only provides a simple, continental breakfast. I would recommend this place without hesitation, be it for the village itself or as a base for exploring the lovely area with big towns like Bristol and Bath in close proximity.

Good location for a stay
The property is in an excellent place for a one/two night stay and whilst the accommodation has been developed in a very tasteful and modern way (1) the settee was insufficiently comfortable for periods longer than 60 mins (2) access to one side of the double bed is rather cramped. Guests have there own access to and from the apartment Overall and excellent place with very friendly owners.

Beautiful appartment, spotlessly clean, bed a little small. Good service & breakfast. Very helpful owners. A little out if way so need a car. Good eating places near. Good value for money.

Warm Welcome, Relaxing Stay
David and Sandra were the ideal hosts, informative but not intrusive. The accommodation was superb, so clean and very comfortable we didn't want to go to the 'do' we had gone for! Definitely intend to book in again to investigate the area more.

Not your average B&B
This B&B caters for only a single or couple in a compact duplex unit. It is comprehensively furnished although space is at a premium. Not recommended for above average sized persons who would find the shower enclosure too small and the ceiling too low. Even the breakfast table and chairs would be difficult to squeeze into.

Best Place Ever
This is the best place I have ever stayed, plenty of room, downstairs living area, upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Very very comfortable, very peaceful, excellent nights sleep. Iam on the road for 4 nights a week this is the first time I have had a good nights rest in wonderful surrondings, everything is great cannot find any faults even if I tried to look for any, round it all off very nice people. Looking forward to being in the area again and cannot wait to stay here again.

All you could wish for.
Very warm welcome on arrival. Accommodation is very clean, beautifully decorated. Has all you will need for a short stay. Lovely breakfast delivered to your room. Could not have wished for more.

Excellent accommodation and well appointed.
Accommodation was excellent and very comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were very friendly with your needs a top priority. I would not hesitate in recommending this establishment as it proved better than most hotels I have stayed in.

Excellent Apartment
Stayed 1 night for business. The apartment was very well equipped and everything in pristine condition. There were some thoughtful touches - starting with an enquiry about what time I would arrive; a welcome cup of tea and a tour of the apartment. It was lovely to have a sitting area, fridge and microwave and breakfast at the time I wanted. Very convenient for work. I would not hesitate to stay again when I am next in the area - a very welcome change to chain hotels. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Fantastic find
After reading some positive reviews from other sites we had high hopes for Orchard Cottage - and we were not disappointed. David & Sandra were fantastic and provided lovely touches, from the text message sent to us in the morning confirming they were expecting us, to the offer of a hot drink when we arrived, and helpful tips about where to eat and drink. The duplex is immaculately clean and feels welcoming and friendly. Access is via a private entrance which allows you to come and go as you please. The lounge area is comfortable and spacious, with coffee making facilities, microwave, sofa, TV with Freeview and Sky planner and a DVD player. The gallery bedroom has a very comfortable bed and there is also a bathroom with shower. Also included in the price is a fantastic continental breakfast, provided with a smile by David & Sandra at a time of your choosing. The village location is lovely and has a couple of local stores and 3 pubs to try. In short, Orchard Cottage is a gem of a find - and we will certainly be returning.
