Very nice clean cozy room with upstairs kitchen facilities, cozy as this beautiful town of Brugges. Owner very nice and friendly, even we arrived late he was very nice to meet us and didn’t give us a hard time about it. Room had little welcome things, a bottle of wine, bottle of water, candies, even a nice welcome sign with our names. Well done! Place is in an excellent location! Highly recommended!

Schönes Zimmer in einem typischen Haus in Brugge, zentral gelegen. Es hat nur 2 Zimmer und einen gemeinsamen Bereich mit Küche/Kühlschrank etc. Aufmerksamer Gastgeber, sehr grosses und bequemes Bett. Das grüne Zimmer liegt nach hinten und ist somit sehr ruhig. 8tung! Oarkplatz muss man vorreservieren!!!

Stay here!!
Such a lovely spot!! The location was just out of the tourist walk route so the room was very quiet. Instructions to access our room and parking was very easy and thorough. Waiting for us in the room was a bottle of wine and water, which was delightful. The bed was also amazingly comfortable. Our hosts were, of course, always easy to reach and provided spots around town to check out. I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommended. Wonderful host called Wim, very friendly helpful and informative. The room is gorgeous, very spacious with an amazing double king size bed. The room was very clean with an en suite. The location was spot on, literally 3min walk to the Markt. Would definitely stay there again.

A couple of days in Bruges before heading home
Super room with great facilities in a traditional Bruges house, perfectly located v near the centre but with parking 50 yards away. Great hosts who provided us with maps, guide books and a range of really useful tips. Highly recommended

Lovely place to stay in a great location! The owners was great and very accommodating when we arrived early. The room was really nice and the bed and bedding was just lovely. The only negative would be that there was no full length mirror, but we would definitely stay here again when we return.

Quiet luxury accommodation at a perfect location
We had the 'grey' room that is located at the front. This room is facing the street, but the double glazing blocked all noise. Still, if available you should probably get the 'green' room at the back, that - according to the description is also slightly - bigger. Even so, the room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect (a one minute walk from the famous photo point), and the rooms are modestly priced.

Great place to stay!
The room was clean, comfortable, private, and very nicely decorated. Very accommodating. There was a welcome basket with wine, glasses, water, and a list of some recommended nearby restaurants. The owner is extremely nice, and actually spent a good bit of time trying to help us on the phone to track down an item we had lost on the train, since the language barrier made it difficult for us. The location was convenient, about 3/4 mile from the train station, close to the Market Square, lots of restaurants, shops, etc. WiFi was great. There is also a laundry facility not far away where they offer self service or full service. We really enjoyed our stay!

Picturesque City Break
Absolutely loved our few days in Bruges. Our stay at Ambiente rooms was extremely pleasant. We arrived Wednesday afternoon to a basket containing a lovely complimentary bottle of red wine with 2 glasses. The perfect welcome to our break away whilst unpacking our suitcases. We stayed in the green room which is very spacious and clean. Lots of storage space and natural light. The apartment is located just of the River Dijver which is great for getting some fabulous pictures especially of an evening of the Rozendhoedkaai. The Markt with the Belfry and Burg Square are only a short walk away as are all the other landmarks you would wish to visit. We got the train to Ghent for the day too which is well worth the trip as this is also another fabulous place steeped in history with its castles, churches and Belfry. I would definitely recommend Ambiente Rooms to family and friends.

Ideal spot to explore Bruges from.
The Abiente Rooms are ideally placed to explore Bruges. Situated approx. 15-20mins walk from the Station and another 10 mins from the main hub of the city, the Market Square, with everything in easy reach. The road is quiet which extends to the room which is tranquil and relaxing, making it the perfect base.

Amazing location and great place to stay :)
This place is more like a B&B (but without the breakfast). It has a nice (/really cute) communal lounge and kitchen with facilities for tea and coffee. The room was warm and clean, and the bed was super comfortable! The location was also great - just a few minutes to the main square. The owners also gave us a map with restaurant recommendations and we went to two of these (both excellent). Would highly recommend!

Great location, very comfortable, spacious room with very comfortable bed. Enjoyed common area for relaxing and kitchen area for breakfast, etc. One drawback was some street noise - room at the back of house would be quieter. Overall would definitely recommend.

Mosquito nightmare
Upon checking in we were pleased as the room is nice and Veerle was hospitable and pleasantly brief. As with most places in Europe there is no cooling system so the windows were wide open with no screens upon check in and we left them that way not knowing what was to come. Fast forward to 2am when I was woken up by the several mosquito bites I had gotten in my sleep. I tried to wrap myself in the blanket but was driven crazy by the sound of mosquitos buzzing in my ears every few minutes. We were both awake (my husband hadn't slept at all because of the buzzing) and spent an hour hunting mosquitos in the room (we swatted about 30 in total). We spent the next day tired and cranky as we had barely slept and when I mentioned the issue to Veerle she simply said, "Oh, there's supposed to be a plug-in in here, I will get it." We were sure to keep the windows closed the next day and night, and I am certain that the plug-in solution made no difference because I still woke with more bites. In total I left with about 25 bites upon check-out. Don't get me wrong, I understand that visiting in summer definitely affects the bug population and that to some extent it is out of the control of the hotel, but there were no screens on the windows, the windows were left open for hours, no heads up was given that the mosquitos are bad at night, and the only "solution" was not implemented until day 2 after we had lost a night of sleep.

Dear guest, Sorry to read your discomfort. It is really the first thing we read about it and it's to bad you do it anonymously. We are always there for our guests and do provide you with anti mosquito plugs from the start. Of course we want to ventilate your room since it can be to moisturised after a good shower and sleep. If we wouldn't do this you would complain about the humidity. I understand sometimes thing do not go as planned but again we did our best to provide you with all the best we can offer..

Lovely room and great location

Comortable 4 night stay.
We were given a warm welcome and the accommodation was as stated, very comfortable and in a good location. Ideal for exploring Brugge and the surrounding countryside. The walk to Damme takes about an hour and is well worth it, Damme is a lovely village and the boat ride back was ideal.

Charming and recommended.
Lovely spacious self-contained rooms, with also a shared area for tea, coffee etc - has a fridge and microwave. Nice hosts and perfect location - though Google maps misses the site by about 70 metres. Thoroughly recommended.

This property has it all.
This property is wonderful......It is charming, spacious, well appointed and our hosts were helpful and gracious. Not only is the accommodation lovely, but it is In a safe location, it is clean and well located. We easily walked from the train station to restaurants and to all the main attractions....great stay...thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous place with great location
This place is astoundingly gorgeous. Would be perfect for a couple, for sure, though I enjoyed it on my own too. Fantastic bathroom with large tub, wonderful bed, mere steps from the main square in town although on a quiet street. Willem, the proprietor, is super friendly and provided maps and recommendations for what to do in town. There is no reason not to stay here.

Clean and modern room
Really happy with our stay, room was clean, modern and bright but fitted with the traditional feel to the local area. Within walking distance to everything and great service/tips on arrival.

Absolutely charming guesthouse in Bruges
Private spacious guest room and bath with shared room upstairs for making coffee/tea or relaxing. The owners welcomed us with caramels and wine, which made the experience even better. the room was comfortable and close to city center. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience the charm of this city!

Perfect location
So close to the center of Bruges. Veerle met us when we arrived and showed us to the garage close by. She then gave us a map and the location of some of their favourite paces to eat in Bruges, a really lovely touch. The room and bathroom are beautifully decorated, the kitchen/living room upstairs perfect for breakfast and chilling out. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay in downtown Bruges
The location was just far enough from the busy tourist area that it was quieter than the more busy areas. Bruges is small enough that almost everything is within 20 minute walking distance. Veerle and Willem provided many excellent tips and suggestions. We cannot wait to return!

Convenient location near centre of Bruges.
Owners are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. Room was in excellent condition and facilities extensive and at hand. The superb location is an added bonus.

Perfect romantic locations
Abiente Rooms was a great find! Great service, great room, great decoration, great location! The only thing that bothered us was the neighbor school, which had a very loud ring during the mornings. But that is definitely not the hotel's fault. And we would go back there in a heartbeat. Really awesome.

Wonderful experience
The room is beautiful and Willem and Vivien are very welcoming. Great recommendations as to where to go and what to do. The location is perfect and I couldn't recommend it more.

Deze locatie is een heel prettig verblijf met een zeer hartelijke en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Alles ziet er netjes uit en het zit op loopafstand van het historische centrum. Een echte aanrader voor een weekendje weg. Bij een volgend bezoek aan Brugge zullen zeker weer boeken

Perect stay
Perfect location, quiet street, extremely comfortable bed in a very spacious room and best of all was our hosts, Willem was a pleasure to meet who offered great tips in Bruges and helped us book taxis etc too. Made us feel very welcoome and the wife loved the free wine for us on arrival. We knew they were always on hand if we needed anything. Will be staying here when we visit again in the future and convincing family members to stay here too.All previous reviews about how good it was were true and did not dissapoint. Thanks guys
