Ideal for romantic weekend getaway
Nice relaxing spot. Room was clean. Drains in the bathroom were a little smelly but I think it’s just the area. We arrived late and our key was left out - however they were all mixed up. But we found our key. Would be a nice spot for a romantic getaway especially being kid free. Is within walking distance to shops and cafes but a bit of a hike to the beach. Breakfast was nice too. Magnesium pool was nice and clean and lots of surrounding greenery. No fridge in our room but share fridge in kitchen. Also no microwave in kitchen. But was nice and would stay again.

Recommended!
Very quiet location away from the hustle of Byron. A car could be handy. Our room was very clean - we had the King Studio which appeared to be a converted garage. We even had a washing machine! Some other rooms looked a bit bare with nowhere to sit except on the bed but we had a dining setting and couch. Breakfast was very good, cereal, toast, fruit, tea, coffee and juice. The only reason I have given 4 not 5 stars is that I personally do not like synthetic fibres in mattress protectors or doonas.

Great place to stay
Very pleasant environment, good staff, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfasts. The only limitation was restricted parking space, though it was fine for us it could have been difficult for a vehicle with large turning circle. We would certainly return there.

Beautiful Light filled & clean!
We had 3 nights at Byron Palms and wished we could of stayed longer. Plenty of space through out the guest house, chilled relaxed vibe. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and linen made/towels cleaned every day. Loved it will be back.

Excellent location.
Perfectly situated in the heart of Byron within a short walk of all of the shops, cafes and restaurants of this vibrant town. Room was very clean and great value for money.

Lovely Byron Bay
Byron Bay was a real highlight of my trip to Australia. The beaches were lovely, the food and drink options were brilliant and the whole town is relaxed and fun. My room in the Palms Guesthouse was lovely with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower, which was a change from many other places I stayed in Australia. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They even allowed me to go for one final dip in the lovely magnesium swimming pool when I came back to collect my luggage 5 hours after I'd checked out. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. The only minor downsides were it was a small walk into the centre of town, which you wouldn't even notice if you were staying in any other town, but Byron is so self contained it felt like it was on the edge and there were a few ants in the bathroom, but these were not an issue in otherwise clean accommodation - and I was just happy they weren't spiders!

Beach House Paradise
Was pleasantly surprised when my son and I arrived in Byron Bay. Was close to downtown and the room was very comfortable. Breakie was great as well in the common area. Very well kept.

Guesthouse on edge of town, quiet and walkable
Great location. Everything needed at hand. Breakfast nice touch. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Historic value of property makes it even more special.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere that mirrors Byron Bay.
Room clean, neat, and of a simple but practical style. The breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, breads, and drinks was well presented and of high quality. Owner Peter and all his staff are very very friendly. We liked the fact that if we arrived back at the appartment in the middle of the day we could easily make a cup of tea and relax in the kitchen/lounge area.

Very nice Guest House, Heart of Byron
It is a very nice guest house and the staff were very helpful. The vibe is great. Only thing i didn't like about this place is that the batch room isn't attached to the Room [it isn't in-suite]

Greag guesthouse for the affordable price! Other options in this price range were mostly hostels so we were stoked when we found this which was a private room with a private bathroom. Aircon in the room was great as it was really hot, brekkie was simple but delicious. Staff were friendly. Location was great too just far away enough from the hustle n bustle but still very central. Parking included was another bonus. Only minor thing would be to include a mirror in the room, also the bathroom was not an ensuite but across the hall although this wasnt a big deal. Overall a great stay!!!

Convenient, clean, and tidy
New (2 years old), clean, and just a short walk to anywhere. Room was serviced as we liked. The only thing missing that would have been nice was a pool and perhaps more under cover areas but, there was a nice open communal area. Just a few minutes walk to anywhere while being away from the busier parts of town.

Cute and Modern Surf Shack in Byron
Amazing staff. Beautiful and clean facilities. Quiet but a 15 minute walk from main strip. Wifi was choppy but usable.

Wonderful relaxing stay
Wonderful hotel. Super clean and looks quite new too. The owner is very friendly and welcoming:) I enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning very much..you get your choice of toast, different spreads, fruits, cereal or yoghurt:) Yummy. It was also an easy walk to the nearby shops and the beach!

Modern guesthouse
Mooie niet al te ruime kamer. Prima bed. Privé badkamer die helaas buiten de kamer aan een gemeenschappelijke gang ligt. Erg gehorig, we konden meegenieten van het gesnurk van de buurman. Gemeenschappelijke keuken, tuin en zithoek erg modern en leuk ingericht. Locatie is prima, op wandelafstand van het bruisende centrum en toch heerlijk rustig gelegen.

The place is absolutely lovely and I would go back. But for a longer stay I find the room a bit to small especially when you have luggage and you travel with your partner.

Absolutely delightful!
Wonderful experience! Bright, light room. So clean and nicely decorated. Welcoming, friendly staff. Yummy breakfast and a nice, easy stroll from the main street. I will definitely be visiting again.

Very good overnight accommodation.
Very nice newly built/renovated premises. Very obliging staff. One small dis-comfort being the king? sized bed which was uncomfortable because it was obviously 2x3ft beds joined together. Any couple used to a queen/king sized bed would not enjoy a good nights sleep in such a bed..

A nice little getaway
Peaceful atmosphere, lots of light in the house, very friendly staff, nice room but no wardrobe, perfect location, floorboards a minor disadvantage when people come back at night. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Dei bei bungalow ordinati e arredati in stile country, con molto legno e bianco. In una zona molto verde. Immersi in un giardino rigoglioso e tropicale, pieno di varopinti fiori. Molto piacevole per rilassarsi. Il titolare, Peter, disponibile e molto, molto gentile, ha vissuto in Italia e parla bene l'italiano. La colazione, inclusa nel prezzo, ( non facile trovarla compresa nel prezzo)molto buona con cereali, toast e futta già preparata dalla gentile ragazza di Giava. La camera era piccola ma c'erano di più grandi. Nell' insieme, direi che tornerei subito per un soggiorno di relax. A very comfortable stay
A one night stay in order to sample Byron Bay. Located in a quiet part of BB and within easy reach of the busier parts. Clean and comfortable with a delightful breakfast and helpful staff.

Beautiful beach house stay
My stay went seamlessly. My room was beautiful. The position of the guesthouse was within walking distance to all I wanted to do but also far enough away to not be in the busy noisy areas. My room was cleaned to a high standard everyday and the complimentary breakfast was light and delicious.

Overall, the accommodation was great value, made even better by the friendliness of the hosts and proximity to all Byron has to offer
