The location is great, literally 10 minute walking distance from the centre. Parking is impossible. The building is an old medieval like house. Our room was next to the dining room, so after 7 was impossible to sleep without earplugs. The room itself was spacious, clean and chilli. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely staff, nice breakfast. Kettle in room was great. Lots of stairs to be expected in the old town though. Great proximity to the archaeological museum!

Beautiful property in the old Castello district. Very comfortable, clean and nice, friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, more than enough to set you up for the day. The only downside if you’re traveling by car is parking - an absolute nightmare.

Charmant hôtel
Hôtel de charme dans le quartier du Castello. Le personnel au petit déjeuner est très gentil et attentionné. Petite Salle de déjeuner très cosy. Tout était parfait. Seul petit bémol l’insonorisation des chambres.

Good place to stay in castello
Great location, not far from the centre. Easy to walk everywhere. Rooms larger than expected and very nicely renovated. Super comfortable beds and very quiet location (zero noise from the outside). Tasty breakfast and very good choice. Unfortunately atmosphere at breakfast kind of spoilt our stay. Staff requires customer service training. Claudia was very kind and attentive but that was unfortunately not the case when she was not around. Heated and loud conversations between staff should be kept behind closed doors and not in front of guests.

Lovely hotel with very serviceminded staff
We had a fantastic stay! The location is very central, the room was so cozy and beautiful, and the service was perfect - before, during and after our stay the staff communicated with us and followed up that we had all the information we needed in advance, and also checked that we came home safely. Sara in the staff was lovely, kind and helpful. Amazing breakfast every day, Sara served us with a personal touch! We really this lovely Hotel! Best regards from Sweden

On a passé un super séjour a l Hôtel Birkin castello avec la chambre la plus belle que j' ai connue depuis 20ans . l' accueil était très sympathique et efficace . l'endroit très bien placé pour visiter toute la manifique ville cagliari.tres facile aussi pour ce déplacer au centre soit par l'ascenseur et escaliers ou une petit chemin.le petit Déjeuner était un régal très varié avec des produits maison notamment la tarte citron exceptionnelle

Lovely boutique hotel
- Friendly staff. - Nice breakfast but more fruits/vegetables would have been great. - Lovely room and bathroom, although by reception so you could hear almost everything happening there, it can get noisy in the street too. - Well located, in general quiet.

Beautiful rooms and great service
Great service and cozy place to stay with amazing interior in the rooms! You have to contact the hotel before you visit so they know when you arrive, as they don't have personell at the reception 24/7. This could be clarified a bit better by sending out an email directly after you have done your booking. Big recommendation!

Three stairs up to room 5
A nice floor for three people with a kitchen, very stylish. Can be recommended. The only downside to the accommodation is that it is located high up in the old town. There will be long walks home in the evenings. The breakfast was good with nice ingredients, but cold boiled eggs, which was a bit strange. Nice treatment from the staff.

A wonderful little find, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quirky. We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was very good, cold meats, cheese and toast. Situated in the heart of the Castello district most things are in walking distance but do beware of the hills, if you can’t walk up hills nowhere in this city is an easy walk.

Personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Abbiamo soggiornato con i nostri due cani e nella stanza abbiamo trovato la ciotola e due giochini che gentilmente hanno offerto ai nostri amici a 4 zampe! Stanza pulita e confortevole! Consigliatissimo!

Check-in comodo e in autonomia, struttura pulita e dotata di ogni confort. Colazione inclusa nel prezzo, servita al mattino dal personale. Parcheggio si trova a 6/7 minuti a piedi. TV in camera e riscaldamento inclusi. Abbiamo trovato anche una bottiglietta d acqua e due cioccolatini.

Die Unterkunft hatte flair, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Zum ersten Tag haben wir ein Zimmer unter dem Dach erhalten, leider nur mit einem Fenster in 2,5 m Höhe und in der Abmessung 30 x30 cm. Zimmer Nr.6. Dieses Zimmer aufgrund für mich fensterlos kann ich nicht empfehlen.

The family rooms which we were unaware of when booking, were located on the top floor of the building, we had the family from hell there for our first two nights and subsequently three other multiple occupancies, the noise was horrendous as there is no sound proofing ,the property is not suitable for people with mobility issues 45 stairs to reach the 2nd floor is not easy after the long uphill walk from town. Room 4 is located off the breakfast room again not conducive to a restful holiday as breakfast starts at 7.00a.m. and finishes at 10.00a.m. The staff were very good but are only on duty from 7.00a.m. until 2.00p.m. so any problems can only be dealt with the next day. All in all a very disappointing holiday, 7 days was far too long!!

we had a fantastic stay at birkin castello. it’s such a very unique & beautiful accommodation that sits in the castello area. there’s elevators around the area to get up to the higher castello area from the base of cagliari. the self check in was great, claudia gave us everything we needed to get to the building plus helpful tips. she was always ready to answer our questions including the best places to eat/drink. the accommodation is as pictured & actually exceeded our expectations. rain shower, plus comfy bed, a living space, plus small kitchen & dining area. the place was well furnished & would be great for a week’s stay. the breakfast is in a beautiful dining space & the breakfast provided was fresh with fruits, cured meats, baked goods, plus your typical italian breakfast. thumbs up from us.

Fabulous stay
Located in the old city; perfect for exploring Cagliari. Beautiful room and very friendly service. Would be a very romantic hotel choice. First time driving in the old city a bit intimidating.

We loved how in the city the hotel was. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and new water. The hotel was at the top of hill and we were able to walk down to the busier restaurants and the Marina where it was easy to get a bus to the local beach clubs. The staff were very welcoming and suggested amazing restaurants!!
