Hi Stefanie glad you had a good stay we provide a starter pack that includes Multiple toilet rolls ,Dishwashing tablets soap ,shampoo and Laundry Powder which is all complementary. Once this is used we encourage you to be self sufficient for longer stays as we are not a Motel this is stated in all of our correspondence cheers.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment Scott we certainly do not advertise we are a 5 star resort, we do however offer exceptional value for money for our clean tidy Villas, resort amenities, location & nightly rate. Thank you for feedback, whilst we value & appreciate both positive & negative testimonials sometimes it is more about an individuals expectations & what is happening in their world at the time rather than a simple black & white story... With this in mind we feel some of your comments are harshly critical & in fact not accurate. All Villas are individually owned hence they do vary from one to the other, obviously with approx 20 villas we cannot list photos of every single Villa. The $160 per night that you paid for the villa represents extremely good value in The Palm Cove region especially given that we are only a leisurely 10 MINUTE stroll from the beachfront. I'm sure you would find it impossible to to get a beachfront room at this rate. Bedroom - 90's Adult Film & no general maintenance to the villa... we believe these comments are far from accurate. However we have taken on your feedback & the villa has since had an update to some of the decor. Reception hours are M - F 8.00 am - 5.30 pm / Sat - Sun 8.30 am - 12 pm & on site staff are always available outside these hours for emergencies. The majority of guests arriving outside office hours are more than happy that we have made the late collection of keys very quick & easy. Standard practice across almost any tourism provider within Australia especially the smaller boutique hotels do not provide reception access 24/7. Unfortunately this is just not feasible for staff or costing as it would add substantial increases to room rates. Thank you for choosing to stay at The Villas Palm Cove

As we are fully self contained villas it is like renting a house, therefore the above items mentioned were / are supplied as per documentation for the first couple of nights only & guests supply their own after that. Hence also for stays of a week or more we provide regular linen & towel changes. Guest are more than welcome to use washing machines, dryers, brooms, mops if they need to clean up during their stay, all Villas are equipped with the above items. Any grocery items can be purchased from Coles supermarket less than a 10 minute walk / 2 minute drive / buses & taxis are also available. Online orders can be delivered straight to your villa.
