Not recommendable
Atrocious quality of overall facilities. Horrible breakfast. Renovation has been ongoing for years, and the parts where it is completed do not meet global standards. Low price and downtown-accessibility are the only two pluses.

호텔수리중이라 불편함
출장으로 장기간 투숙했었는데 호텔 Renovation 기간이라서 솔직히 여러모로 불편했습니다. 특히 3월14일 물공급과 전기 수리문제로 호텔이 Sutdown 예정되어있어서 하루동안 호텔을 옮겨 타른호텔에서 1박후 다시 돌아와서 같은발 사용하려고 예약을했었는데 방안에 짐을 두고가면 절대 안된다고 해서 체크아웃하고 이후 예약취소후 다른호텔로 갔습니다

Stay was ok! Room was very nice, spacious as well. Appreciated the little kitchenette during our stay. Service from check in was not very friendly. I felt like I was just a number and they just wanted me to pass through. We asked for extra pillows after we returned from dinner, and the lady at the front desk gave us a facial reaction like we were crazy, and then she said they had no pillows. We also asked for a blow dryer, because we assumed the room would be equipped with one, but now I understand to never assume things.

I could have enjoyed it if the hot water had worked. I couldn't shower because there was no HOT WATER on the 31st floor. The receptionist ( boy) did not show empathy /remorseless which was disappointing having been staying at the hotel since 2008

Great location. Friendly staff. Doing some nice renovations to suites. No fan in bathroom which made it very muggy. Be careful as the 2 bedroom suites are right next to elevator shaft and as this is an older building you could hear the wind tunnel effect throughout the night. I had earplugs so no problem. Nice pool and work out area. Would stay again because if price and location.

I paid for a complimentary breakfast and free parking...got to the hotel and they have removed the kitchen and restaurant... Charge me $10 for parking I feel ripped off

The room was very nice and spacious, clean bed and living area. Shower could have been cleaner. The front desk staff was incredible and very friendly. I Was very disappointed with the kitchenette aspect as there were zero utensils or anything to use and the “hotel” didn’t provide any. No restaurant, bar or room service or even an ice machine, although there are restaurants near by. Fitness centre was good but is in a sub basement and would be better if there was a window of any kind. I expected more room amenities, and would have liked if the folks cleaning the room had replaced the toiletries. I think it’s important to note that this is no longer a hotel and they are transitioning to rental units so be prepared for limited hotel services.

Hotels. com bills this as a hotel. Once a hotel years ago, they are now transitioning to be a long term stay residence. No amenities - not even hangers to hang clothes in closet. No ice machines, anywhere. Couldn't even check out of hotel and leave bag in locked room in lobby until after lunch - as in most other hotels I've stayed at. I was truly disappointed!!!

Specifically got this place because we needed kitchenette. They have pictures of full new kitchenette and rates and priced tk match. We got there with our shrimp, steak , and dinner to cook for valentine's day. Check in and the csr says none of the kitchennete works jusg microwave!!! He was extremely rude and couldnt care less. He responded with its in the fine print! We asked what fine print and he was never able to show us. Terroble front staff and hotel stay was worst. So kverpriced for a bed. Dont go!

Good overall experience.
Overall experience was good. Front desk staff was great and check in was excellent. On paper it ticks all the boxes. The room was recently renovated, photos of the room look good but when you get up close you can see that it was a low quality update. Functionality and details of the updates are poorly executed. The windows are original and are not sealed to the elements, evertime the elevators go up or down they create a vaccuum effect and draw air through the windows. So the room is constantly having cold drafts followed by a heat wave when the heaters catch up. That makes for an uncomfortable environment. Especially at night, our kids work up several times because of this. That be said we still had a good experience, the pool was good and location was perfect for our weekend event. The beds were comfortable and bedding met expectations. For the price i think you can find better options in the area

Staff were very friendly and helpful, building is of course old but seemed dirty. The renovation were disappointing and seemed poorly done. Pool and fitness area are very nice. You can’t eat or go to the spa (which was not stated ) which was a downfall but lots of restaurants near by. Don’t bother driving anywhere walking is faster. Overall it was ok.

It was good for a 2 night stay but not worth $200
It was a very nice stay but our renovated unit was still in pretty rough shape for being "renovated'. The ceiling was awful, paint was chipping and the new cupboards were falling off the hinges.

Under renovations, no resturant in the hotel. Parkade is SMALL and not the easiest to get in and out of.

The hotel is changing it's business model to include furnished corporate suites, residential apartments and hotel guest suites. We're finishing up the renovation project with our 2nd floor spa, and converting hotel suites to residential units. This transition includes the hotel changing into a limited service property, and we no longer offer on site food services. Our Guest Service Agents can assist our guests with exploring the many dining options in the city centre area. We hope you will consider us again the next time you are in Calgary. The newly renovated rooms are very modern, stylish and comfortable. We stayed in the midst of the reno, however, and there was still a lot of drywall dust and reno noise in the morning. The windows were not replaced so the street noise was loud at night and the heating was difficult to control.

My Experian at this location It wasn't Pleasant right at the beginning when I check in a member of the stuff a Young men I don't know his name. I wish I knew so I can mention it. Right at the Check in. Did not want to cooperate with me. Or help me. Barry incapable of solving problems They need more training. How about dealing with customer service? Very unexperienced people
