Really fantastic 2 night stay at this property. It is a lovely hotel inside and we enjoyed the bar, restaurant, gym and swimming areas too. The staff were absolutely fantastic, really polite and helpful, putting the customer first. Room service took less than 20 minutes from order to door even though it said it could take around 45 mins. The pricing of the food and drink was a little on the high side but with the service and all things considered it was a really great stay for me, my wife and our 3yo.

The property is very nice, great fitness center. The only issue for me was that it is isolated, so unless you have a car, you eat all of your meals at the hotel.

The somewhat anonymous exterior of this hotel hides rather a gem - a business hotel with a level of comfort well above the norm. The lobby is quite impressive and the reception staff highly knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. The restaurant is comfortable and the food well prepared and presented both at breakfast and dinner. The Room Service menu is extensive and well done. The leisure club is the star feature, with a luxurious locker-room style changing and shower zone, separate for men and women. A steam room and sauna both in excellent condition are topped off by a lovely warm swimming pool with lounge chairs surrounding providing the perfect environment to relax. First class.

You cannot fault the customer service all staff are so helpful nothing too much trouble. Menu needs updating not great evening meal choices. Also lots of people come to the lounge for work meetings which as a paying guest felt that this is unacceptable as in the morning the noise level was unbearable 3-5 small groups having meetings talking loudly on phones etc so nowhere peaceful for guests residing here. I also mentioned the leisure facilities are fantastic but the shower drains in ladies changing rooms need deep clean as the smell is very offensive.

Gym closed
Working away in St Neots, booked this hotel purely for the gym, gym was closed for refurbishment, it would been more then helpful if Hotels.com stated this on the listing. Hot tub also out of action. Room was tidy and had a great sleep, just shame about the gym etc.

Better than expected, location was fairly easy to find, parking easy and the gym is 24 hours which is ideal for business trips. Only small niggle is the food is very expensive and not that great. Was a business trip so location was main factor, gym is very useful and would stay again there.

Family weekend break
Visiting family in the area, had a room with two doubles with plenty of space for us as a family. Indoor pool and sauna / steam rooms were a great bonus. Very resonably priced breakfast with a food range of options. Would stay again

Expected better from a Marriott
We expected more from a Marriott. We were told that we were getting a recently refurbished room which was nice except the bed was awful. Old and not comfortable. Also the shampoo and body wash and lotion all had a horrible scent. Couldn't use any of it. Very disappointed in this stay.

Lovely hotel
Service was wonderful, room was very clean and very comfortable. Had a glass of wine and packet of crisps from reception and almost gulped at £12.90. Would have had breakfast but at £24.50 to have it delivered to the room decided to pass. Would return and recommend, every member of staff I interacted with were very friendly and very helpful.

Mixed visit
A mixed stay, leisure facilities were great- clean and of good standard. Breakfast was the best we’ve had staying anywhere. However, the drawers were broken in the room, I opened bedside cabinet and handle came off in my hand. I paid the £50 deposit for it to actually be withdrawn from my account and then told it ‘should’ be refunded 10-14 days!!! And if not then to contact my bank?! Never known this, always expect to hand card details as a deposit but never money taken, let alone not get it back instantly! Have tried to email hotel myself but no response!
