Every place gets a bad review. This is an honest review of our stay.5 day stay. Check in was fast and friendly. Our cabin was clean , bed was comfy, and all appliances worked. Kitchen has a full size fridge, counter top 4 burner stove microwave and coffee maker. No oven. Only draw back was the bbq is showing its age but it worked well enough to cook a steak etc. the 2 lane hwy is about 150 ft away but not a big deal. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the beautiful view. There is a small beach just a 5 minute walk to the left and Miracle Beach ( provincial ) 8 minutes to the south. Buy you food at Costco in Courtney as the grocery store in Oyster Bay in outrageously expensive. Check out was fast and easy. No complaints. We will be back for another visit

Cute place. Would be unbearable on super hot days, no AC. Screens are needed on every window to be able to open them.We had one window with a screen. Bed was ok-hard. Super friendly new management. Hopefully they are able to take care of some of the little things. Not much choice of food around other than Chinese food. It is only about a 10 minute drive to Campbell River with many many choices. Beautiful views from room. Kitchenette was nice. Had everything but an oven which worked out perfect, had no intention of cooking!! Did see a few ants, but nothing too concerning. Great beach walks. Cool rocks, sand dollars, etc. Overall good place, although a bit on the expensive side.

Everything was great. View to the ocean..we loved it and we will come back again but the highway in front of the property is really busy and loud.

The check in was great, very nice. Cabin is beautiful, spa tub is awesome. My hubby and I stayed here. Went to use couch that turns into a bed they advertise. Dirt behind couch, cushions stained, 3 that we could see, with liquid, food or... Hard as rock for a bed . Very little water pressure in shower. Contacted resort, their comment on bed was tgey only reccomend them for children. Since only 2 of us registered she assumed we wouldnt need it. She is aware of water pressure, I suggested letting guests know. She apologized we were dissapointed . Will try somewhere else next time.

Pretty nice. They could do some things better.
This place is cute. Pros: close to Oyster Bay Park, which is great for birdwatching. Jacuzzi tub in every cabin. Full size fridge. Check in and check out were easy. Lots of privacy. Gas grill. Great views. Cons: cabin wasn’t very clean (dog hair and I had to re-wash some dishes). Lousy knives and pots/pans (Teflon is a carcinogen; pots/pans scratched, spatula melted on the end) I couldn’t have drawn blood with a knife if I’d tried, they were so dull). The provided hair dryer (pro) was *melted*(con) as if someone had left it on the stove. The road in front is quite busy and loud, and separates you from the views of the ocean and mountains. Overall, not bad. But not mind blowing either.

Thank you for your feedback, we always advise at check in that we have extra pots/pans knives etc in our store room. I will be sure to go over and replace the knives and anything that looks worn out. We do try and keep up on that. My apologies you had that experience. I do appreciate the kind comments as we do love this place and our guests do too.

It is private cottage with a BBQ on each one of them. Nice breeze but noise from traffic in front. No high speed internet as advertised. Cleanliness is questionable, especially with covid 19 situation.

If you are assigned to a cabin on the second row, you won’t have much view. Kitchen is dated and sink has leakage problem.

Thank you for your review. All of our Chalets are staggered so everyone has a view. The pet friendly Chalets are for the most part in our second row. We have fixed the leaky sink. We had to wait for the Chalet to be empty.

The Friendly, helpful staff Were very accommodating and available all hours. Cabins were cute and cozy. The only thing that doesn’t make this resort 5* is that there is a very busy and loud major highway directly in front of the resort. If I visit again, I’d likely give up the ocean view for a quiet cabin. Cabins were well stocked with comfy bed and linens, but there were issues with wifi throughout our stay. Luckily we didn’t miss it too much, but it might be a bummer for families with teenagers.

I was positive that I had cancelled this trip.I checked my bank and wham there was the money gone. Why do you people sent a email a week ahead to remind one of the up coming stay. Then I would have cancelled for sure I was positive I cancelled the same day I booked

Great place to stay.
Stayed here one night for a move and travelling with my pets. I found the cute chalet very clean and comfortable. Great hot tub in the bathroom. Bed was comfy too. Awesome service, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again for a vacation.

Interesting little panabode type cabins clearly built in the early 90's but in good condition for the age, clean and comfortable. Could stand some upgrades as far as the kitchen is concerned (like newer frying pans etc) but nice place overall. Great view but was surprised by the volume of traffic on the old island hwy. Would stay again.

Beautiful spot, cabin was nice. Linens and pillow not so great, my linens smelled like male cologne and the pillows were lumpy

Great stay, we'll be back. A bit disappointing they wouldn't let us check out an hour late. The reason being the cleaning staff were arriving at 930 (check out I'd at 11) so they would be waiting. Seemed a little unreasonable to me. Otherwise great little cabin. Lots of traffic but you can't hear it inside your cabin. BBQ and natural gas was a great feature and really comfy bed. We'll be back.

The units were very clean, quiet, private, comfortable and well equipped. Our stay was extremely relaxing. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch. There are several pubs and restaurants nearby. If you want relaxation, this is the place to go!

Excellent location close to Campbell River
Beautiful chalet fully equipped with kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, large big screen TV and amazing water views. It is just off 19A so it can get noisy from traffic but still wonderful.
