Staff were great. TV remote was missing and was rectified within 30 minutes. Was a bit dirty (used tissue under a bed which was spotted while looking for the remote), but bedding and bathroom was clean. Would recommend.

Ibis styles? Really? This was more like a motel. Don’t know how this is a 4 star in Canberra. Service average and slow.

The room smelled musty and there was mould in the bathroom. There was no kettle and when they brought one to me, it was broken so i had to wait about 20 mins at reception for them to find another one.

Carpet was soaking wet. When we told staff we were met with an ‘oh well’. There was a rotten cherry tomato behind the curtain and we were under a very noisy commercial air conditioner unit. Would not recommend.

School group stayed overnight. They were fine at night however at 6.30am the teachers were walking up and down the hall banging on doors and talking like there were no other guests in the building. Won't be coming back again if this is going to be the case going forward.

Cleanliness in general is good. Housekeeping terrible Sink was left with dirty used water from previous occupant. Smelled No coffee cups, no spoons. Iron was low quality and hasn’t cleaned the water from previous user, resulting calcium blow staining my trouser Food - compared to Novotel and Rydges for the same price, 5/10 Quality of linen and presentation, excellent I am sorry, if I come across like I am complaining, I am a member of Accor club, so I am comparing. Will not stay at styles again

Carpet was filthy and smelt bad. Bathroom not clean. Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast good but busy. Was told we only had 30 minutes to eat but this was not enforced. Not very practical with your 2 young children.

Disappointing
Quite rundown facility with very mixed service: had to implore to get the room serviced on day 5 (already supposedly only a every three day service, which wasn't clear before booking). Great evening desk clerk, Samantha, was the only redeeming feature. At this price point, more is needed.

I understand that it was a windy day which is why there might of been leaves and a paper cup but a whole table is a bit hard to blow into a pool, looked like it was not a me problem more of a you problem which is why no one took the table out of the pool - which meant that cigarette butts which had been put in the middle of the table came out and floated away with a lot of ash in there too

Will never recommend ibis styles to anyone i know way over priced , staff very unwelcoming and not helpful ,, menu prices outrageous $38 for a piece of steak a handful of beans 2 chat potatoes cut in half ,, $12 for half glass wine $9.50 for stubbie of beer . No haif dryer no toaster no cutlerie no udl milk for tea or coffee no complimentary biscuits , ceiling fan in bathroom hanging out , c air con not working properlie no valances on beds , globe in lamp blown , power points way to low for elderly people like us for my cpap machine , pool area and surrounds a mess , even pictures in room and dininf room all twisted no clocknin room
