Excellent service. The food was delicious. We had 2 of our favorite waitresses Javier, and Carmen gave us excellent service. They were both attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Very helpful, humble, and respectful person. I would go back to GR Caribe

The resort was good but needed more entertainment and the bars closed too early. A little more variety in the food. Excellent service around the resort especially at the poolside at Grand Solaris Caribe.

I stayed at this hotel many times before but this last stay I feel the food quality and the service have decreased. GR caribe needs some upgrade but property is clean.

I contacted both Expedia and the hotel directly a week and half prior to travel to get guarantee that we would be placed in a section with a WORKING elevator as we both have mobility issues. Responses said my request would be met. It was NOT. Elevator could NOT be summoned to the 4th floor. 4 complaints filed with numerous staff at hotel to no avail. No offer to change section or other suggestions. At check out was told by Bell Captain that EVERYONE at the hotels KNOWS of the problem but won't do anything about it. I was competely ignored upon check out when I mentioned it for the final time. Would NOT recommend EITHER hotel if you have mobility issues. NO zero entry pools, or ther accomodations for older people.

Beautiful , clean, well maintained property , access to all three Caribe resorts is a big plus! Caribe is a very nice resort with great staff, excellent customer service and good dinning options. Staff very friendly, helpful, but the hotel did not give us a king size bed, as told to us. Instead we were given two doubles. On a good note, we enjoyed all the beautiful pools and hot tubs. There are so many good choices of restaurants, very clean.

Stayed here for three days with my roommates for spring break. Booked it as an all inclusive package through Expedia. Some general stuff: Pros: - Beach water was beautiful and a bright/clear blue - The buffet food was actually decent and the cook-to-order parts of the buffet/eating areas were amazing (pancakes/omelettes in the morning and a variety of Mexican food for dinner) - Helpful and nice staff in general Cons: -Check in was at 3 PM, so although our shuttle got us there at roughly noon, we had to kill 3 hours carrying around our backpacks (we didn't want to leave our passports w/staff by giving them our bags to hold) - The entire beach area had red flags for "danger/reccommended not to swim" for some reason? We and many others were still in the water, but that was odd - Drinks are VERY watered down, but I assume that's what all resorts are like - This resort is a 12-15 min drive away from the more populated spring break resort area in the upper portion of Cancun, so for those who wanted to go clubbing/check out the night life off the resort, this specific resort was too far from it all - Hidden fees: It's all inclusive so why did I have to pay a $15 cleaning fee once we checked in?

They over booked and we.were.1 bed short our first night. Were suppose to bring cot but didn't and wouldnt pickup phone at front desk. They didnt care at all.staff at check in where very rude, beds where very hard. And they power wash right outside ur window at.night, employees where shouting to each other. I will not stay here again. I have stayed at Royal Solaris 3 times Their sister hotel and never had these issues. The wait staff in Mexican Restaurant where amazing, really exceptional compared to most everyone else.

The property is in urgent need for a renovation. I saw cockroaches in the hallway. A couple of those even made into our room. There are a few open to the sky spaces without proper grading that leads to water pooling up so you have to tip toe around it. Few of the lift buttons were not working. I saw exposed wiring from the wall lamps in the corridor. Mold along the grout lines. All in all a bit too shabby. Won’t recommend.

This property is on the smaller side but is connected to their larger property you have access to. Once you get the staff’s attention they are attentive. Although they gave treatment preferred to it’s members first based on the color of your bracelet. The food options were just ok. The breakfast buffet served more lunch items than breakfast. The bartender Cecilia in the main hotel lobby was AWESOME!!!!

Here is what I think of this place Pro: 1) Location is very nice 2) The shows at the theater were great. 3) daily activities were fun to participate in. Con: 1) WiFi is terrible. Do not expect to do any work, or have WiFi in general. 2) The buffet would always run out of food. Especially the popular dishes. When we came back from a tour it was around 9pm. We were very hungry and the buffet had run out of food for many of the dishes. All the manager could say is that its the chefs fault. 3) It would take forever to get a waiter to attend the table for drinks or any other needs. I know that at times things would get busy but it would take 4) The drinks are very watered down. Its the same thing as drinking water. 5) The rooms do not look like the pictures on the webpage.

I have been a vip for years. I was never given an up grade. Our room was noisy, tv didn’t work nor did the phone. We asked so many times fire help and no one came to help us. Elevators didn’t work. Food was unsave for me. I have celiac so I was told it was gluten free and it wasn’t. This will be my last time staying there. It has gone down hill for about 4 years and they aren’t wanting to make it better. Hot tubs are never hot. Pool is always way too cold

The property was quiet and more for an older crowd but you have access to the sister hotel that has more activities. You have access to the bar and food; however, check-in isn't until 3pm. The drinks were weak. The juice was also weak. However, I would sray here again.

The resort it's good, love the pools, the beach seating was good, the entertainment was good, the kids club needs upgrades, it looks bigger and better in the resort pictures that in person, water was freezing, the food was bad, dull, missing flavor, the so called Italian restaurant was awful, nothing Italian about it, the only great thing, was the people that work there, very friendly, helpful, I don't think so I'll ever comeback.

I recently stayed at GR Caribe by Solaris in an upgraded deluxe suite from Feb 13-19. The overall experience was fantastic. The hotel provided an awesome stay, and I plan to return next year as I have done for the past 4 years.

The access to the beach is great. It is great that there are 2 hotels owned by the same company next to each other. The hotel has great courtyards. The food is ok. The buffet would run out of food and it would never get replenish. The food in restaurants was much better. If you didn't make the reservation at the restaurant, you aren't getting in. Now the bad. The alcohol was really watered down except beer and wine. The service was just ok, many workers would not speak any English. The check in took quite long. People in our group that ordered 2 beds ended up with a single bed and the ones ordered single, ended up with doubles. We were located on the 6th floor and the elevator didn't work most of the time. It gets pretty slippery after rain! I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars.

Building is very old. i could hear my neighbors in the other room clear as day!! the door that joined our rooms had light pouring in from it. Staff was fantastic!! except for the manager.... My girl friend rolled her ankle and fell on a set of stairs that turned into a ramp with no sign or safety strip to indicate a change. Head manager took over 16 hours to meet with us and bring a doctor. (doctor was very good and spoke great English) I asked for a copy of the accident report and she refused to give it to me. she made it sound like it was our fault and refused to accept responsibility.... Totally ruined our trip and we are never coming back to one of their properties....

We love the marina but unfortunately it was closed on this visit. Staff here is generally wonderful and very friendly and accommodating. There is a new dinner reservation app that is a bit clunky - hope they revise it to be more flexible and user friendly.
