This property is in a great location! It’s close to everything but not loud or noisy. It was right across the street from the beach which was very convenient, the bus drives by every 10-30minutes (we couldn’t figure out the schedule but always close by when we needed) the pool was peaceful, check in and check out was a breeze. The staff were all very friendly. It was a little untidy around the property and obviously an older hotel. The price is great and we would definitely stay again! Thank you hotel posada del mar.

Location is perfect. Hotel is aging, and not much care has been put into maintenance. Rooms will all have mold issues. Most rooms will have some bugs. Cockroaches get into ground floor rooms due to gaps under doors. Pool water isn't kept very clean. But the location is excellent, and the staff really try to make it work. Would stay there again next time I'm in Isla Mujeres.

El hotel muy centrico, solo cruzando la av. Comienza playa publica norte. A los huespedes del hotel "piden un ticket en recepción" y pagan 300 mxn./hasta 5pm. En el beach club. Si no eres huesped pagas 200 mxn./2hrs ó 400 mxn/H. las 5pm. Para ocupar los camastros.. Frente salen los City bus para punta sur que cobran 20 MXN..P/P.. La recepcionista fue amable, me informó de la habitación que habia reservado, AC, 2 Camas con balcon vista a la piscina, no tiene frigobar, sin embargo me dio una habitación disponible al siguiente nivel con minifrige. Tienen restaurante y bar en la piscina del hotel pero los precios son muy caros en comparación con los restaurantes frente al hotel.. Lo que no me gusto fue que no se me dijo de las toallas de la piscina, pero use las toallas de la habitación.. Muy agusto con la familia..

Enjoyed spending time with my daughter over her spring break. Glad I got to introduce her to Romi, he is so nice. We stayed in the rooms to left of office, same as in December and they are more dated then ones by pool area. The beach across street is always cleaned each morning and is just amazing.

The location is great, close to beach and town. Bus stop right out front. Sunset view from our room 201. Drinking water available in the lobby and in other wing, free. We had a standard room. No refrigerator or coffee machine. This should be standard, in my opinion. Our room was spacious. Book exchange in lobby. The pool wasn’t not inviting and we did not use it. The Sun loungers by the pool are old and not plentiful. There was some street and bar noise at night, but just late one night. I used ear plugs. The WiFi was the best near the pool. I would stay here again, probably in the superior room, with a fridge and coffee maker.

This Property has the best location for the price. Although, if you pay for an upgrade, there is no upgrade. We lost out on $58 thinking we got an upgrade. Good location, staff is very friendly, the bar has good drinks. Great hotel for the price.

The staff was really present and answered our request very fast (our toilet broke down, twice). We had a room in the older building, it seemed like it needs a good deep clean, because everything seems old and has stains... We had a few bugs coming in because of the window of the restroom. The location was good, but like everything on the north side of Isla. Would recommend not staying in the older building. Only like 10 chairs at the pool.

Pros: Walking distance to great restaurants Across the street from the family/locals beach. A lot of Customers have been coming for years. Cons: Facility has a lot of wear and tear Toilets did not consistently function You are not allowed to flush your toilet paper. No hair dryer provided in our room. Reserved a mini suite, but got a lesser room with no price cut. Manager was not willing to correct pricing on our room down grade and was unwilling to refund last day when we left early. Will not return to this hotel.

Our air conditioning system was faulty, and despite our numerous complaints, no action was taken to fix it. As a result, water from the broken unit flooded our room almost daily. The rooms were not clean, and the pool was not maintained properly.

The staff were friendly, very helpful and professional. The room was super and location was excellent! The only thing we would have liked is for the restaurant to stay open later as well as something to be done about the pigeons pooping on the deck? we could not sit out there because it was dirty. The room was very spare, needed remodeling. And the shower was ancient! The step from the bathroom was dangerously tall! Grounds looked pitiful but no trash. Just need a complete overhaul. Sure it was nice back in the day but now just looks sad.

Very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Has everything you need, including air conditioning. Hotel is run down, needs some work.

You have a property that is in a great location and walkable to everywhere. This is our second time staying here and the have made some improvements on the property. There are areas that are in need of repair. More attention could be given to the common area to keep it cleaner. Maybe a good powerwash. I'm not sure if that is even allowed in the island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean everyday. All of the chairs around the pool need to be replaced. Relaxing venue for sure. You have the usual pool lounge hogs out at 7am to reserve their chairs and hotel does nothing about this to discourage this. This is an older place and is a good place to relax for a week. Good restaurant and Romy's bar of course. Many patrons return here year after year. We love the island and will be back.

Hotel did not have an irons or hair dryers at all we had trouble opening and closing door every time we stepped out of the room no help with the people in reception area when we asked for door to get fixed Will not refer anyone there

We had a nice visit. The staff was very welcoming, the room was clean and quiet.Romi’s bar at the pool is a nice and relaxing place to chill out.The location is convenient, and it’s a short walk across the street to the beautiful beach! Also you can exit the ferry and walk to Hotel Pasada del mar, instead of using a taxi.
