Had a great time with my friends at Grand Wydham. The hotel property is a good value for money and the staff is accomplishing in terms of special request. Had a few minor issues during our stay but the overall hospitality we got compensated for it. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

The food and service was great. The drinks could have been a little stronger, and they could have used better liquor. The beach is on a hill with not much room for children to play in the sand and such.

My children are in the military, so it’s not always easy for us to plan vacations. Having the 3 bedroom villa was perfect for making sure we all had our own space, but could still be all together.

Rude reception staff we paid for king bed and they gave us 2 twin beds and after many requests they switched us to king bedroom so don't ask for money at 1st place, rude servers one servers served wrong food to us and got annoyed when we asked for what we asked at 1st place

Where to begin, everything about this stay was incredible! The staff is what makes the Wyndham one of our favorite places. They really made us feel like vip’s. We really enjoyed Edwin at the hookah by the pool. Not only did he give us great service, but he made us these coffee drinks & basically put on a whole show! The weather wasn’t great for most of our trip but the whole staff worked together to make the most of it. The pools are great. I also liked the hot tub bar by the beach. The food is pretty good. We like the taco place & breakfast on the beach is awesome. Basically, if you don’t have fun here, it’s your fault.

Friendly people and very good service, good restaurants and very clean, however I had reserved two modern suits, they offered me an “up grade” which because I was traveling with my family was comfortable and convenient, only they did not tell us that they would give us the villa Not remodeled. As Expedia customers we deserved a real up grade.

Lots of dinning options, very nice amenities and amazing beach. The check in and checkout was very smooth - given we had an early flight into Cancun and late leaving Cancun. I highly recommend this resort.

The resort is clean, but the inside corridors leading to the guest rooms have a moldy smell. They state that they are a “green” facility and this is why they only provide clean towels and general housekeeping every other day. I requested a room refresh and advised I would be leaving a tip on the dresser but no one came and after a long dusty day at Chichén Itzá, I had to wait 30minutes for clean towels. Food: To start, you can’t make reservations for dinner in advance or at the start of your stay. I had to set an alarm to be on the app at 8:55am to reserve a table at exactly 9am and even then the reservations were all gone. The breakfast and dinner buffets were soggy and cold and overall this resort has the worst food I have ever experienced in Mexico! At the Brazilian place they make you go to the buffet and then bring skewers with bring bread, chorizo, pork, and sirloin to the table about 10 minutes apart in that order. I believe they are trying to fill you up so you eat less of the expensive options. They do not have orange juice instead they serve tang and there is no cream for coffee. The drinks are weak despite giving a nice tip. There are a LOT of stairs! Stairs to the restaurants, to the pool, to the lobby. If you have difficulty with stairs, this is not the resort for you! The service was not there for us, we were two woman traveling without our husbands and it seemed to make a difference. Overall this is not a great resort for the money!

I wasn’t enough staff. No one ever answered front desk phone. Hard to book reservations for dinner. I wouldn’t book again. The rooms also had a mildew smell. I had left and days later my clothes still smell like mildew.

The Wyndam is an excellent hotel at an excellent value. The staff was friendly and attentive and dining options were plentiful. The hotel is clean and looks nice. There are also many pools and activity options. The beach was also nice and well maintained.

The activity staff were outstanding! Penelope, Orfa, and Luis made each day fun filled and promoted ease at getting to know other guests with pool volleyball, water aerobics, dance lessons and just great congeniality! The massage staff- Luis was also top notch, I have had many massages and his technique and skills were professional and so relaxing. There were great attempts by all staff at the variety of restaurants to accommodate my gluten allergy and the food was pretty good quality for every meal. I loved the diversity of guests who also stayed here. It was very hard to leave !

The food and the people were great! Always felt safe and rooms, pool area, restaurants were all clean and nice. The workers there were absolutely outstanding! The only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower was to low for us liking. Other than that one issue we absolutely loved our stay.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Wyndham Grand Cancun. The food was very good too. All the staff were incredible, but we were specifically impressed with Raul and Orea who made sure we felt very comfortable every day! The only negative feedback I could give is that the villas seemed outdated. Our bathroom was not very clean, with calcium build up in the shower and on the fixtures. Overall we were very happy we chose the Wyndham Grand!

If you’re looking to spend thousands of dollars for a subpar property and restaurants that you have to book via an app exactly at 9am or be left to figure out dinner plans on your own, this should be your choice. Dinner reservations open up via their app at 9am daily. By 9:05am, every reservation has been taken. I made a reservation and their system failed to register it in their system. When I showed up to the restaurant with my family of 11 people, they told us we had no reservation and basically told us to take a hike. Staff didn’t even bother to accommodate even though it was their error and basically said it was my fault for not following up with them post making my reservation. Mind you, this is 9pm in the evening because that was all they had left by 9:05am (reservations opened at 9am). The concierge employees are prohibited from taking dinner reservations for guests, so I’m not quite sure what their job actually is. First time I’ve ever experienced such an upsetting situation at any resort in the hotel zone of Cancun. There are plenty of similarly priced resorts for much better quality on the strip. Last time we stay here. Highly suggest you book with caution.

The staff is horrible. My daughter have severe food allergies and I was told numerous time in different restaurants sorry go and eat somewhere else. The room I was given with only one king bed for 5 people had to wait until 2 AM to get another to sleep for the night. Menu no food available and it’s not a buffet hotel during the day, you have to order food and wait more than 30 minutes to be serve.

Subject: Formal Complaint: Unacceptable Treatment and Poor Service at Wyndham Grand Cancun I am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with the experience I recently encountered during my stay at the Wyndham Grand Cancun. Despite arriving with eager anticipation and high expectations, my overall impression was significantly tainted by the shockingly poor level of customer service and the disrespectful treatment exhibited by your staff. One of the most distressing aspects of our stay was the fact that, despite being at an all-inclusive resort, my companions and I were repeatedly denied basic services such as food delivery. Astonishingly, there were instances where we had no choice but to venture outside the confines of the hotel to secure meals, due to the failure of your staff to fulfill their duties. Furthermore, the persistent and unwarranted pressure from your staff to provide gratuities created an oppressive atmosphere that detracted significantly from our ability to relax and enjoy our vacation.

The best we love Wyndham Grand Resort is the breathtaking ocean view! It is incredibly beautiful and curing! We love going to beach everyday, the water, sand, sky… a wonderful vacation at Wyndgam Grand Cancun!

Hotel was nice. Plenty of restaurants and pools. Staff was courteous and accommodating.

I witnessed many times where members (timeshare) were treated better than us. I waited a very long time at the pool bar snack bar while watching everyone else’s food go out who came before me. Took 30 minutes to get my sandwich. The restaurant options were not great. The app hardly worked to reserve yet empty tables every time we’d walk by. The buffet is not open for lunch, which is fine… The food there was subpar at best. Very few American options. Asian night fried rice had peppers in it?? No egg rolls or other common Asian food. Very very disappointed overall. And I will complain when it’s warranted. Thanks for asking for my review

I believe our room was recently renovated i.e. it is clean, spacious and comfortable. In general speaking most staffs are friendly. Fine dining option and quality are good, while the breakfast and dinner buffet has a lot of varieties.
