Loved that it is a small property felt lore like a family than a resirt environment. Staff are lovely, food is excellent. Very relaxing place.

The food was horrible and my husband and I both were sick the whole time we’re at the resort do to food. The staff was friendly… however, the business concept is confusing and not clear when it comes to “all inclusive”.

The people who worked there are so nice, if I could give them 100 out of 5 I would. The food was also really good! It’s also nice that you can visit other sister resorts via bus or boat. We loved it there!

The friendliness of the staffs, cleanliness of the room and amenities are top-notched! The only thing I would like to request is hopefully they improve their breakfast menu.

Safe area, beautiful beach, good food. Things to improve: drinks (not good), bathrooms cleanliness near pool and in main lobby. Staff was nice and food was good.

Everything went very well at my stay at Sunset. The staff was nice and helpful. The area was always cleaned. The buffet was AMAZING everyday! Shoutout to my guy Jorge in the buffet side. He took care of me for my birthday! My only complaint is the guest pass situation which is very strict and expensive

Un lugar muy tranquilo,la gente del staff fue muy cordial,especialmente la señorita del bar de la alberca se llama lluvia ,estupenda en toda la extensión de la palabra muy amable y muy atenta con toda la gente y con mi familia muy profesional en su trabajo,fue de las mejores en atender a las personas que estuvimos en la alberca y siempre te atendia con una sonrisa!! Definitivamente regresariamos en un futuro

El hotel esta bonito , la comida es rica , pero les falta mas instruccion al personal , llegue como a las 8 pm me cobraron un impuesto que supuestamente no estaba incluido en mi reserva , sin embargo en mi reserva decia impuestos incluidos , la recepcionista me dijo que la informacion sobre todo incluido y el mapa del hotel y actividades me la daria el concerge pero como eran las 8 pm ya no estaban los de concerge , encima nadie nos acompaño a la habitacion ,siendo un hotel bien grande con muchas habitaciones y por referncias del personal que habia por ahi llegamos a la habitacion , en conclusion. Nadie nos explico sobre el hotel , pero si esta bonito y limpio

Trip Advisor said A'HA Scuba was the best group to dive with (and they were right!), so we were looking for a nearby hotel in which to stay. The hotel that had A'HA Scuba was the Reel Inn/ Real Inn and it looked recently updated but small-- no restaurant. We stayed at Sunset Marina-- which ended up being next door-- a 5 min walk to A'HA. We stayed there b/c of the Food reviews online and were very pleased. The bar at La Pergola was so good that we honestly had trouble wanting to go anywhere else. We did one meal at the fancy (not included) place, and one meal at the Pizza place and ALMOST did a meal at La Vela, their Japanese place, but the Bar at La Pergola was so lovely we always ended up back there. Fresh fruits, veggies, salads and cheeses at every meal. There were lots of vegetarian options and fish available at each meal along with yummy pulled pork and tender chicken options every meal as well. We stayed in room 511 and enjoyed our Lagoon view where the Great Egret hunted each dawn and dusk. We even saw a crocodile swim past. When we closed the outer door to our hallway it was plenty quiet from the street noise. The plants are beautifully kept and the property has a whimsical Dr. Suess-y feel to it. We had a great time and would totally go back! ProTip- get your ride from the Hotel arranged before you go. We got rooked at the airport ($110) while others said the buses work just fine for very little, and Uber was reportedly less than $10 for the 30min ride

Disgusting service, at the reception, restaurants and orders for room services was taking incorrect including entering the wrong room number. Found roaches at the main buffet restaurant, employee kill the roach and kicked to the side, leaving the roach exposed. The food serving time was disgusting, dining in or at room service. The person taking the orders send our food to the room 130 instead of 103.. 4 white toast and 2 expresso coffe takes more than 1 hour... Azucar Restaurant was not included on the ALL INCLUSIVE, everything they serve had to be paid, only you count with the Asian restaurant and the buffet, that dosent serves buffet because being in the slow season, they don't feel like throwing food away, and de menu is very limited. Expend few more dollars and get a better place for your vacation.

Property was great, just be aware that some rooms are up 3 stories :) Restaurants and food were great- delicious with a great variety. Entertainment and daily activities run by the "pink ladies" was awesome. Loved my room and all inclusive amenities.

I like how the bartenders treated you like family. I didn’t like how some waiters had an attitude as if they where the ones paying for everything.

I stayed at sunset marina for 6 days in February. Everything was lovely. They have a shuttle to and from the airport, amazing food and dessert. The pool was great, we especially loved the out door seating and the hot tub. The service was fantastic, everyone is amazing super friendly and really makes you feel comfortable. The rooms were also lovely, very clean and spacious. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend and I’d certainly go back again :)

I am impressed with the quality of service they provide with their guests. The staff are very courteous.The food they serve is fresh and very delicious. The Marina itself offers a lot of amenities and activities for their guests. And then you can hop on the water taxi and explore their other hotels. A week of stay is not enough. Hahha! But we will come back to Cancun and stay in Sunset Marina again.

Awful, the food wasn’t edible, the alcohol was all off brand and made us sick. We got food poisoning also in the final day of our trip
