Hôtel est grand, les chambres sont spacieuses, le personnel fait son possible. Mais le déjeuner est pauvre, chaque jour la même chose, aucun choix. Les restaurants sont loins. Leur livraison payante et difficile de trouver, Si on va séjourner là pour se reposer et jeûner c’est tout à fait l’endroit. C’est tranquille et c’est tout.

It’s a very nice hotel by the beach but unfortunately there isn’t a restaurant on site and it’s a turn off. Otherwise it would be one of the top hotels in Cap Haitien. The ownership should strongly reconsider having a restaurant on site if they want to remain competitive and be one of the best destinations.

The property is beautiful and right by the ocean. It is clean and the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. It is a hidden gem. Only thing, there is no lunch or dinner menu.

The service is very poor, breakfast was simple same breakfast everyday eggs and spaghetti with black Coffee and toast, they don’t provide water or milk. No fruit served at all. The workers were very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved the view. I could see the water from my balcony and that was a lovely site. The staff was great and accommodating and the property is very clean. As far as what I did not like, the road leading to the property needs to be improved. Otherwise, a great property and great staff.

When I arrived, there was no water in the shower. It had to be fixed. the breakfast is VERY basic. There was no jam available for example. The eggs were served without any else on the plate, not even a slice of tomatoe. Not to be recommended

Hotel property is nice but the road to get to it is terrible and the included breakfast needs very much improvement, not quite value for money, can improve to A1 with small twiks.

Many Things Still Need to be Done
There's a lot of things need to be done. Although the staff are very polite and amazing there is still some things at the hotel that needs work. For example, there's no ac during the day time, they only serve breakfast and not any other meals. This was a beautiful looking hotel but it still needs a lot of work.

I loved the view and how the staff cleaned the room every day. The staff were very attentive. I did not like that there was NO 24hr electricity (they only have electricity from 5PM-7:30AM: I had to shower & do my make up in the dark in the mornings), they gave the same breakfast every other day, and no restaurants at the hotel. There’s not a window in the room to bring in much sunlight.

TV, internet is not stable. no fridg or microwave. Electricity is only at night which is not good. They should tried to give you the electricity at least on a full day , maybe on Sunday or Saturday. Next time I will try another place but overall I love the place and the staff and I will be back.

Well Rival hotel is a quiet place, very cleaned space. Road to get there is a challenge. Employees are so kind. Breakfast ends at 9 AM and there is not flexibility on this so wake up early. There is no restaurant but you can order and have it delivered.

Dirt road leading to the hotel is challenging during the day and flat out dangerous at night. The road is a bit isolated and is dark come night fall therefore safety and security become issues. Power was available only from 5pm to 7 Am during my stay, which means no AC during the day. The hotel offers beautiful views of the mountain and sea. Staff was courteous and made you feel welcome. I enjoyed free breakfast with excellent Haitian coffee. Hotel offers privacy and a nice pool.

The place is great! You have to drive through a horrible trash ridden Cap Hation to get there, which might turn some off. Ask for the boat ride to the belly beach, just a few minutes away and cheap! One of the prettiest beaches on earth. The staff is amazing, the hotel is away from the city with a spectacular location The staff was as good as you can find anywhere.

The great experience. It’s on a remote road. I enjoyed the stay the staff was accommodating. I had to ask for extra towels. Breakfast was amazing. It had 24 hour security. Only suggestion I have is if you need anything to grab it before you head to the hotel because there are not any shops nearby being that it’s on the water. I would stay there again

Rival hotel is a beautiful property right on the beach. Don't let the bumpy dirt road scare you. It's a very quiet relazing location where you can hear the ocean, and the pool is beautiful too. The beach is not clean, but we still walked on it.

Great Stay!
The hotel was clean, peaceful, and relaxing. Though the hotel is a mile down at the end of dirt road, it is gated with a security guard and right on the beach. The staff were professional and helpful. The electricity and AC worked consistently. Breakfast consisted of hot chocolate or coffee, juice, toast, and either spaghetti or an omelette. There is no restaurant onsite but there are a few good ones nearby closer to the city. The WiFi was strong and we had no problem using the Internet. We booked two different hotels for our stay but we loved this hotel so much that we cancelled our other reservation and stayed here all of our nights.

Waste of beauty
This i a pity for such a beautiful ,magnificent hotel to not have services; not even a real receptionist to welcome you. In the morning, I looked for an employee for about half an hour before I turned to the security guard to call one for me . breakfast :Very Poor.
