My husband and I have been on a road trip through Canada's Maritime provinces for nearly 2 weeks. We have been staying at traditional hotels, but decided to try the cabin, as a change. We were extremely happy with our decision.
The cabins are clean, spacious, and equipt with everything you would need for an extended stay. Being able to move freely around several rooms is a bonus, especially after being confined to only hotel rooms.
The kitchen is fully appointed, so we were able to cook and enjoy snow crabs gotten fresh from the docks that day. The front porch is a quiet, restful place to read- or just relax. The cabin is decorated perfectly for the "at home" feel. In all of the places we have stayed during our trip, this was by far the most enjoyable.
Our hosts Mrs L and her daughter treated us as though we were guests in their own home, fulfilling certain requests that were not part of a typical stay. When the local grocery was closed, they went above and beyond to be sure we were able to get what we needed.
Recommend a stay at Cajun Cedar Log Cottages? Overwhelmingly YES! My only regret is that we had to leave so soon.
