Great little cabin
These little cottages are terrific. They arent too close to any restaurants so youll want to be sure you have dinner, breakfast, etc. With a full kitchen and a grill, your options are open. When we arrived, the owner was waiting, handed me a receipt and sent us up the hill to our cabin. There are two rows of cabins and we were on the bottom row looking out over a meadow and the water beyond. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was everything we needed to make dinner. In the morning, we had a cup of coffee while watching deer in the meadow.

Nice hilltop cottage overlooking causeway
The cottages are nice, comfortable and very clean, on the hilltop overlooking the Canso Causeway. We arrived in the late afternoon, when it was pouring down rain, and left early in the morning so we did not use the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the front porch like we would have for a longer stay. We were in the 2 bedroom cottage and it is very roomy. The owner was very welcoming.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au chalet Chisholms of Troy ! Nous disposions du chalet le plus éloigné de la route, très tranquille avec une vue fantastique sur l'eau et la côte en face. Le chalet était très propre et bien équipé, que ce soit la salle de bain ou la cuisine (ce qui tombe bien car il n'y a pas grande option de restauration dans le coin). Joliment refait, avec fauteuils et table à picnic devant le chalet. La propriété dispose de plus d'un accès direct à la piste cyclable "Celtic Shores" en bas (remontée intense au retour toutefois!). Une très belle surprise pour terminer notre visite du Cap Breton.

The cottages were in a very pretty area, overlooking the water. It was very quiet and peaceful. We got in late but the host was gracious and helpful.

The scenic view, the friendly and helpful staff the cottages are clean and well kept. And the proximity to the trans Canada trail made our trip along the beautiful shores a great experience.

Very nice place and owner!
We were in a one bedroom cottage with a lovely view. Pretty much all you need is there to cook. My suggestion to the owner would be oven mitts and better bbq tools. Great bbq. Very accommodating owner who would get whatever you need. Amazing walking trails. Early April
