Quirky property close to the sea front. Decor and especially the electrics could do with updating but the 'hot' tub was fun (we didn't heat it as we wanted to cool down)

Amazing place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Property is minutes away from the beach and restaurants and shopping. Apartment had refrigerator, stove, sink, balcony. There's a nice pool to relax and breakfast is available with an incredible view of the ocean.

Lovely stay
Great place. Very conveniently located. The staff were superb and very helpful. No aircon so sometimes the rooms can get very stuffy when its hot. They do have a fan. Great value for money

A little disappointed
It was smaller than expected, the kettle, and oven didn't work properly. We were expecting a lounge or a couch but the TV is in the kitchen and the glare of the sun made it difficult to even catch up on news. It was very noisy, and the ceiling fan had only 1 setting - very fast or off. I would recommend it is serviced every 2nd day, not every fourth day.

Easy to find and closure to most places
The stay and environment was welcoming. I wish they can find a way to install the TV as it was difficult to use it due to its position. Probably they must consider moving it into bedroom

It was very awsome.The check in and out was so great with arrival and when we left that me and fiance wanted to spend more time there. Cleanliness was top priority and apartment was like home. We plan again our next weekend away to this guesthouse as service and quality was excellent

Zimmer kein hoher Standard, keine Klima nur ein lauter Ventilator dadurch vor allem nachts sehr warm im Zimmer und dazu sehr hellhörig! Die Lage ist super! Würden aber dennoch nicht wieder dort übernachten wollen... es gab auch kein Essen. Nicht mal Wasser konnten wir bekommen als wir nachgefragt haben ...

We had requested a hotel-type room not on the ground floor. However, we were given a mini-apartment type room and told it was an 'upgrade'. I wish we had been given our actual requested room type. Safety and Windows: The first apartment room we were given was on the ground floor and one of the windows wouldn't properly shut - not particularly safe. Instead of offering us another available room, we were told the window would be fixed whilst we were out... meaning the room had to be left open and anyone would have access to our room and our items whilst we were out - not particularly safe. We asked to be provided with another room instead and were reluctantly moved. When we got into our new apartment room, one of the windows in there also did not lock properly - not particularly safe. Water: We wanted to have a quick shower before heading out on a tour, but there was no running water in our room. We tried calling the reception to sort out the problem, but our room-phone wouldn't work and wouldn't connect us to the reception. So we had to go to reception and ask about the water. It was only then that we were told there was a burst in one of the nearby water mains so we would be without for a while whilst it was being fixed. Electricity: There was a power-cut one night. We went to the reception only to be told that the area was load-shedding and we would be without for 2 hours. No one had told us this - a heads up would have been nice. I expected better for the price.

Stayed here each visit to Camps Bay & know most of the rooms. Booked single superior room based on photos on app knowing around pool & with outside seating area. When I arrived was told that was being put in a studio in block on camps bay drive which bear not relation to photos Jacques was really helpful & changed me to a pool side studio but not the one Of the rooms I specifically thought I’d get based on app photos Love this place & would definitely stay again but feel need to be more specific in room advertising

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. It was a lovely hasselfree stay and staff were great. Staff assisted us in booking a Safari and answered our questions happily. I would definitely recommend Camps Bay Village to others.

Great stay at Camps Bay Village!
We stayed in superior apartment 37BC with a view of Camps Bay. Overal our stay was fantastic and I can definitely recommend Camps Bay Village. The location is perfect and offers excellent value for money.

Staff is friendly and helpful!!! Room spacoius, clean and very well-equipped. Location, I could not think of a better one. But definitely Cape Town is rhe Super Star, its beauty will leave speechless!

Accommodation was clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location of Camps Bay in Cape Town, South Africa. Camps Bay Village had a lovely pool and secure parking for my rental car. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Nice spot near restaurants and beaches
Nice place with simple pool area by the rooms, only complaint was our queen bed was two twins pushed together which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Camps bay village after effect stay
only rooms where not cleaned on time, sometimes we had to go and request cleaning services. I also lost new lingerie which I discovered when I was home in Gauteng

Disappointing this time around
We love the complex and location been going there for years. But this time around we were disappointed with the cleanliness and service. We can also make a bed and wash dishes its the rest that need attention. Our stay fell over a weekend and public holiday, with no service on these days which is fine but then we should not pay the same rate. You can not use the Bay Hotel for marketing but do not supply ice, not proper guide to use safe, tv not working properly even though we reported it. Just overall disappointing

The best thing about this property is its location being minutes from the bars and restauraunts on Camps Bay. The apartments are basic but everything was supplied to enjoy our stay. The only downside is that the access to the Camps Bay Hotel is restricted to the left hand side of the hotel. We tried to visit on three occasions but there weren't sufficient sun beds and they were very cramped together. The pool is small. The other pool on the other side was virtually deserted which seemed a shame as we weren't allow we'd over there. That saying its a real bonus of The Camps Bay village to allow access. Definately our chosen place to stay. We have stayed twice in the apartments and once in the stone cottages and will def stay there on our next visit. Excellent value for money.

Great value studio in the heart of Camps Bay
I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay here. From the super-friendly and helpful receptionist to the space and comfort of my studio apartment. Huge bed, firm mattress and pristine cotton bedding. The ceiling fan was effective and quiet enough to leave running all night without disturbing my sleep. The location is second to none. I would happily stay here again.

Nice bed! Good location! Powerful shower! You have to pay for parking. Stair on the way to the rooms, you have to carry your luggage (the stuff offers assistance).

The flat we had was lovely, had everything we needed and looked out onto the beach. The location within the complex was not good - we were not aware that you had to book parking as on this website it advertised free parking, Therefore we had not organised anything meaning we had to try and find a space on the road in a very busy area. And our flat was quite a walk from reception. The staff at check in were less than helpful, even running out of the apartment as soon as he handed us the keys, before we had the chance to ask anything because he knew we were not happy. Other than that it is in the centre of the town with plenty of restaurants close by.
