The staff at Nova Constantia were awesome. Coco was very welcoming, warm and funny. The ladies preparing and serving breakfast were incredible. The house - calling it a hotel does it a disservice - is beautiful. The rooms warm and inviting, and it really felt like being at a home away from home.

5 Star and ducks in a row.
Great place in wonderful and quiet area. Superb service paired with high comfort. Absolutely recommended. Great wineries with excellent restaurants near by. Several beaches close by. Ideal for trips to Simons Town and Cape point. Kirstenbosch is super close. Tokai park is great for mountain biking or hiking. Good chance to see Baboons.

Diese schöne und ideal gelegene Unterkunft bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Vom Zimmer 5 in der oberen Etage blickt man über den hauseigenen Tennisplatz bis nach Miuzenberg. Gross, hell und mit Boxspringbett und vielen weiteren Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattete Zimmer, nettes Personal, erstklassiges Frühstücksbuffet inklusive. Zentrale aber sehr ruhige, sichere Lage. Gerne wieder einmal :-)

Perfect place
Nova Constantia felt like home. Absolutely perfect place to stay, very clean and hygienic. Special mention to Lee and Rob for their service as they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Kids had a smashing time as Nova was child friendly. Location is away from the city, in a very quiet and safe area surrounded by stunning moutain views. 5 stars in every aspect.

Truly one of my best stays ever
Truly one of my best stays ever. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous, the huge bed super comfortable, and the double shower heads is a bonus for couples, huge comfortable bed, free-standing bath, private little patio. Delicious breakfasts!

Fantastic hotel and service
We spent the last night of our holiday in South Africa at the Nova Constantia and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment Lee greeted us and offered us welcome drinks to the moment we left we had a fabulous time. The hotel is a gem in a wonderful peaceful location in the heart of the Constantia wine area. The gardens and pool are lovely and the rooms very smart with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. But the best thing was the service. Lee’s recommendations for meals and activities were spot on - dinner at Buitenverwachting (Ceasar salad starter!), fantastic eggs royale for breakfast, a wonderful hike around Silvermine Dam and lunch at Constantia Glen. There were delays to the Uber service collecting us from dinner so Lee came and collected us himself. As our room wasn’t needed immediately he also allowed us use of it until our 5pm departure to the airport. I have travelled extensively and stayed at many hotels but never have I experienced such wonderful service. When we return to South Africa I shall make sure to book a longer stay at Nova Constantia Residence.

Bei unserer Ankunft roch das Zimmer nach Schimmel - die Hälfte der Decke eines Schlafraums war voll damit! Handtücher stanken danach und gebrauchte Hausschuhe lagen im Scheank. Wir mussten eine Nacht dort schlafen, danach sollten wir umziehen. Leider wurde am nächsten Tag das Zimmer nur noch einmal gereinigt ( jetzt: starker Chlorgeruch!), aber für uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern nicht bewohnbar. Das Hotelmanagment regelte für uns einen Umzug, allerdings wurden wir lange für die Zahlungsregelung hingehalten - auch hier zeigte man sich nicht besonders kinderfreundlich. Sehr schade!

In terms of the chlorine smell mentioned, we do not use chlorine based products on the property. The payment issue was dealt with at an executive level hence the time frame. A little oasis of calm, with delicious breakfasts
Nova Constantia is a little oasis of calm, with delicious breakfasts, beautiful gardens and an inviting pool. The family room is spacious with two double beds, each in an alcove, allowing privacy. And we really appreciated all of the tips from the manager.

Great find
Great stay here shame it was only for 1 night. From the moment we arrived we enjoyed it- the place was clean, well decorated and inviting when we arrived. We were greeted by Lee who offered us a welcome drink when we arrived (which was a lovely touch) as we got checked in while sitting in the beautiful garden. Our luggage was taken straight to the room. The room was nice and spacious with views of the pool. There were his and hers sinks and a walk in shower and bath which was lovely. The bed was also very comfy. They had a minibar, lovely toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, safe, desk, TV. The morning we left we got up after breakfast was finished and Lee and his team went above and beyond to provide us with something to eat on our journey. The place is lovely and the staff make it all the better. Cant wait for our next visit.

Outstanding service!
Hannah and Georgina were simply fantastic! My experience of 5- or 4-star hotels is that the staff is generally snooty or condescending. I did not experience any of this "attitude" with the staff of Nova Constantia. I plan to return with friends and family!

Meget bra i Stellenbosch
Fantastisk hotell med rom og leiligheter. Meget bra beliggenhet, midt i byn. Kort vei til butikker og restauranter. Bra frokost og restaurant på hotellet. Bra romservice.

Quiet and private base close to Cape Town
Excellent room and service.Good base in Constantia for city and coast.Very private and quiet.Only 8 rooms.

Elegance in Constantia
This boutique residence was great. Hannah, resort manager was so accommodating, anything you want she would arrange. Arranged for taxis to take us to dinner and Bill the resort. The place is 5 star!!!!

Séjour très agréable en famille
Lieu calme et agréable avec commerces à proximité Accès facile pour Hout Bay, péninsule du Cap et Hermanus (éviter de traverser Cap town aux heures de départ et retour de travail car embouteillages++) Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour Manque juste des prises électriques car on ne peut pas se sécher les cheveux dans la salle de bain.

Very good location in the heart of Constantia
It is not my first stay in this hotel and I can see the level is no less good than I visited it first time. Lovely and cozy place in the midst of Constantia,surrounded beautiful landscapes.

Perfect accommodation in a tranquil setting
We stayed for 12 nights and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Comfortable rooms with modern facilities, excellent breakfast selection (cooked to order), and free unlimited WiFi. Extremely helpful and courteous staff that strikes the perfect balance between being personable and giving space and privacy as desired by their guests. A special "Thank You" to Lee, the General Manager, who is very knowledgeable about the area and helped us out with event and tour bookings on several occasions.
