古いホテルだが立地、スタッフ、朝食など、値段の割に満足できるホテル
スタッフがとても親切で観光情報や周辺情報なども丁寧に教えてくれた。 ロビーもゆったりしていてよかった。 周辺はロングストリートやマーケットで賑わいお土産も買える。sightseeingバス乗り場までも1分という好立地。 古いホテルのため、浴槽や水回りに清潔感はあまりなかった。部屋も暗めであった。 ただ、値段の割にはとても良いホテルであった

This hotel was central to town and easy to walk to a lot of places. The staff at the Tudor hotel were excellent. Going above and beyond to assist in anyway they could. A very pleasant experience.

Very well sited, wthin walking distance of many places of interest (just as well, since public transport is non-existent). Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

I like the location with it being in the center of the city and staff where helpful and the rooms where spotless. There where some negatives the hotel is showing its age and the WiFi kept working then not working

The Tudor is an old hotel that is centrally located. It is what it is. Don't go for an old three-star hotel and then complain that it is not a new five-star one. I have stayed here a number of times over the years and like the funky ambiance, but am seriously considering going elsewhere next time as my Wi-Fi experience was terrible. Wi-Fi that works in the room is not a novel concept and is something I must have when travelling to stay in touch with my office. I hate to see this, but if they cannot get this basic requirement right, I will simply pay more and go where I can stay connected.

Dear Paul, Many thanks for your review, We apologize for the WIFI being slow on the days of your stay, I will be looking into a new service provider for the WIFI however to date this has proven to be a little tedious as the location of the hotel effects this as well, I will however ensure that there is progress and the WIFI is sorted out for your next visit. Very noisy
The street around the hotel is very noisy - there is no rest during the night. The beds are hard.

Very centrally located... the night life in its environs is just ecstatic. Accessibility to various places, and oh, the market at the square, good place to find very affordable stuff to gift to people. Hotel is built with the antique set up. Nice and affordable place to stay.

Nice discreet and central hotel
Stayed for one Night. The Tudor represents good value and has a Nice and central location. The room was Big and the staff was helpful. Recommended.

in central tourism area
slightly quirky older style hotel. Plus points were excellent friendly and helpful staff. Can be a bit noisy if your room is on the front street as the area is lively at night and in early morning when market stalls are being set up. Area feels fairly safe (at least, for a few blocks if you avoid alleys etc.) but there are constant street beggars who are very persistent around whole of central Cape Town - that's not a hotel issue though.

Das Hotel befindet mitten in Kapstadt und ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut erreichbar. Das Gebäude ist in Würde gealtert und strahlt eine besondere Gemütlichkeit aus. Die Lobby ist eher wie ein großes Wohnzimmer anzusehen und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß (ca. 30qm) und bieten Platz für 3 Personen (Eltern/Kind).

Amazing! We had all the assistance from the staff! The hotel provides a mobile phone with internet and the guests can use maps, google, GPS even outside the property. It helped us a lot during our city tours

Did not feel like this was value for money. The bar is cosy but the breakfast was not well prepared. Staff are generally apathetic. Internet connection is highly unreliable.

Very friendly staff and good triple room
Very warm welcome by all staff members of Tudor Hotel. Lovely conversation upon arrival. Triple room was very nice; very good room size for 3 ppl and location is great as well. Even though in the centre, its a quiet room and we have had a good night of sleep

NIce, small hotel well situated, clean and quiet
Although the hotel building is old ( 1750 ), the rooms are very clean and most of them renovated. My first night was a disappointment because the room I got was very small and dark with a wall-to-wall carpet. As I had reservation for 9 nights, I asked the next morning if it would be possible to get a more comfortable room. And the nice lady in the reception arranged it. I got a really good room with big window and wooden floor. The bathroom had no bath, but shower and was recently renovated. Breakfast was included and it was fantastic! It was really copious and everything looked fresh..It was possible to have breakfast there also without staying in the hotel. The hotel is well located next to an African market, which was open every day. It was easy to walk from the hotel to the nearby lovely park ( Company's Garden ), some museums ( Slave Lodge ) and shops on Long Street. To Waterfront by the Atlantic Ocean you have to take a taxi ( Uber is good ) or the Hop-on-Hop-off bus ( the terminal is one block from the hotel ). Walking is not recommended, there are hardly any sidewalks outside the city center. There would be so much to tell, but I think this is enough, you have to experience yourself the rest!

The towls and bedding was torn and old. The furniture was worn-out. Gurtains did not work properly. The carper was dirty. Limited channels to choose from on the TV.

My Stay at Tudor Hotel Cape Town
The staff were not helpful and also rude. The room was smelling bad mixture of cigarette and other smells. Booked for a double bed only given two single tinny beds yet I indicated that we are two. The Wi-Fi signals were very poor at the 3rd floor where I was staying, after 50MB the rest was ever on and off and I ended using my cell phone for internet. The only good thing there was the breakfast but the staff serving in the restaurant were manner less. I travel a lot in many cities in South Africa and abroad I have never been uncomfortable like I was at Tudor Hotel it just doesn't worth the money paid.

sehr charmantes Hotel
Wir verbrachten 6 Tage in einem Familienzimmer. Die Räume waren durch eine Tür getrennt. Das Mobiliar ist alt, jedoch für einen Städtestrip absolut ausreichend. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, allerdings sollten deutsche Gäste ein paar Abstriche machen. Insgesamt ist es ein sehr familiäres Hotel, in dem die Mitarbeiter stets bemüht sind, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Sollten wir nochmals nach Kapstadt fahren, werden wir auf hier jeden Fall wieder wohnen.

El hotel está en pleno centro de Cape Town así que el traslado a los lugares de interés es muy accesible. A la vuelta está la oficina de CitySighting por ejemplo y está al lado del mercado de artesanías de la ciudad. El desayuno es muy bueno y el hotel tiene más de 200 años pero está bien mantenido y las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. La Sra Campbell de la recepción es muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar.
