All was good except the loud family with kids .. the noise was so bad…. There should be rules .. if you have children then it’s great. We didn’t bring the kids but wanted some form of consideration of others.

Sorry about the noise but everywhere you go in Costa Rica, specially beach areas, you will find the same issue this time of year. It seems that all Costa Ricans head to the beaches for new years as I am sure you saw Playa Carrillo full of people. We do have rules about the noise however people tend to forget when they are on vacation specifically locals.

WoW! Coup de cœur de notre voyage. Quel bel établissement, très bien entretenu, propreté impeccable. Nous avions la suite familiale et elle était vraiment bien équipée, épicerie à 2 min de marche, plusieurs restos a distance de marche, playa carillo a distance de marche (et quelle superbe plage avec ses couchers de soleils magnifiques). Nous avons apprécié l’accueil chaleureux. Le prêt de chaises de plages, de body board, de parasol et d’une glacière était vraiment un plus! La piscine est très jolie et vraiment agréable. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter!

La atención excelente, la habitación confortable y limpia, la piscina muy limpia y accesible. Un aspecto que no gusta es lo aglomerado de la construcción con pocas zonas verdes o espacios libres, no obstante entendamos que es algo imposible de solucionar.

The property was beautiful and we felt safe the entire time. We even heard howler monkeys nearby. Communication was great even though there was not a contact person on site.

It is a decent place, but the staff was unsure that we had a book. They made us wait for 20 minutes, then gave us the room.

I do apologize for the misunderstanding and inconvenience, we had just closed the property for two weeks for maintenance and repairs and the staff was so busy trying to get ready for reopening that they did not pay attention to the bookings. Once again, so sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for staying with us and your understanding.

An amazing beach and amazing stay
We loved this property - we stayed in an upstairs apartment with kitchen and it was very comfortable - staff were approachable and helpful - playa Carillo is amazing - beautiful. Our family thoroughly loved this stay!

Calm and clean
This place was very clean and perfect , housekeeping was very helpful and offer us a lot help setting up our place or any questions we had , overall a great place to stay , calm , quiet and very clean !!! So close to the beach and i had the chance to see macaws across the street .

Lugar cómodo y muy limpio
La limpieza del lugar es excelente, el servicio de doña María Elena y su hija inigualables, el apartamento en la segunda planta cuenta con una mini cocina básica pero funcional. Excelente la comodidad de la cama, sábanas y edredones blancos de algodón y muy limpio. Impecable.

Great place close to lovely beach
Very clean and well appointed, a short walk or drive to the lovely beach Carillo and a 15-20min drive into Samara. We were especially pleased that they had beach stuff (chairs, coolers, boogie boards) we could borrow. Oh and on the second level we got to watch the soccer matches in the evenings across the street from our balcony which was definitely a bonus. Only negative would be road noise could be annoying with all the dirt bikes around.

Absolument merveilleux. Accueil sympathique et prévenant. Très propre et spacieux. Bien situé, à 10 minutes de voiture de Samara, et 10 minutes à pied de la plage Carrillo (beaucoup plus typique et moins commerciale que Samara). Beaucoup de restaurants tout autor. Well located hotel close to restaurants and beach
Perfectly located hotel for a nice amble to the restaurants and beach of plays Carrillo. A nice refreshing swim in the pool to cool down once back from the beach. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities in the room mean you could cook dinner if you really had to! We will be staying again.
